Good courteous communication with a heavy southern accent. Diagnosed the problem with our 5th wheel RV fridge quickly. Had to drive back to his shop to pick up the required part for the repair, which he did without difficulty. Completely satisfied with the experience. Highly recommended.

Traveling from Montana and need help getting my generator started. I've went to this business and called several times over the past 2 weeks. Still have not received a call nor help from them. Disappointed :(

We are happy to say Southern RV Service excelled way beyond 5 stars when they repaired our Airstream travel trailer. They provided prompt and excellent service and reasonable price. John and crew were professional and knowledgeable. They replace rotted wood in sub floor and floor vinyl, replaced old exterior clearance lights with LED lights and several other projects. We would not hesitate to use them again for any RV service or to recommend their services to anyone.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

John and Hunter serviced my air conditioner. Apparently it was in dire need of a cleaning. I appreciate his expertise and knowledge that helped to get the job done so quickly. Also, John noticed that I may be having a black tank situation while on the roof cleaning my AC. He let me know what I need to do to remedy that situation. I appreciated John s work and good demeanor, while servicing my air conditioner unit. I definitely will let my friends know about his service and how they can contact him.Service: Air conditioning

This company is great. Very professional, quick and reasonably priced. I had an issue with a lightning strike close to my camper. There was no power inside the camper and that included 12v. Within an hour of arriving, John and his team had completed the repair, replaced the power converter and my camper has been good to go since then. It is worth it to note, that I called a couple of days before the fourth of July and he mentioned he wouldnt be able to look at it until after that weekend. I definitely appreciated knowing his timeline and when they were available to assist me. He even made a house call as I was unable to tow the trailer to them. Thanks for the great service and I would recommend over camping world any day.Service: Electrical

If you found Southern RV Repair by searching the Internet, stop searching and give 'em a call. Top rate and reasonably priced. They fixed a problem we were having with our refrigerator not running on AC. Previous shop charged hundreds of dollars and fixed nothing. John solved our problem in 15 minutes. Very knowledgeable with years of experience behind him working at larger facilities. Now on his own-- their loss your gain! :-)Service: Electrical

I cannot speak highly enough of John. He came on his day off and repaired our ac unit. Not only is he highly knowledgeable and professional but reasonably priced. I will definitely call him with any future needs and do not hesitate to recommend him to others. John Ray came highly recommended from 2 separate people that I know. I had several problems with my 5th wheel and gave him a call. He got me scheduled within a couple days and came out today. He diagnosed and repaired all of my issues for a very fair cost and was a very pleasant and professional business owner. We will definitely call him for future services and highly recommend him to anyone who needs RV services. Happy Camper.

We were experiencing problems with our large side on our motor home and looking for someone that would come to the park where we are staying. Not being from the area Southern RV Repair was recommended to us. So glad we called them they were easy to work with and prompt. John explained what he was doing and looking for and their workmanship is excellent. They were here and done within an hour and a half and our slide has never worked better. We are so thankful for John who looked at our generator in our motorhome and gave us estimate to fix. We believe is good. We will see him in a few days to get generator fixed. We are very thankful.

Being new to the RV world, I can say that I'm so glad to have found Southern! John found and fixed our water leak quickly and at a reasonable price. Then he went above and beyond when we picked up our camper. He spent about 30 minutes fixing our hitch (dealership had set up incorrectly) and basically giving us the training we never received when we purchased our rig. John knows his stuff and we left saying, "We've found our go-to guy". Thanks for the great service!

John did a great job fixing the leak as well as several other small repairs in our travel trailer. He communicated the timeframes and costs accurately and was willing to work with me on drop off and pick times. I will not be taking my camper to anyone else for repairs. A great experience with John. Very professional and willing to be flexible to our time frames and needs. More than fair with pricing. Did an excellent job making our motor home so much easier to drive with some suspension upgrades. Also made the warranty work we needed done a breeze. If I could give John with Southern RV Repair 10 GOLD STARS, I certainly would!!! Last Friday, John assessed our camper s A/C, which needed to be replaced. He was in touch with us over the weekend (exceedingly rare for a company to text you on the weekend) and installed the new A/C on Monday at 6:15 pm. Hands down I highly recommend this company!!!Service: Air conditioning

After reading several great reviews on Southern RV Repair I took my 2021 Entregra Odyssey 26D for a solar system install. The owner ,John Ray is a very impressive young man. He seems very qualified and knowledgeable. John had my job done in record time and I'm very satisfied with the out come. One of the things I like the most about John is even though he is busy he treats you like your his only customer. In other words he gives you his complete attention. I appreciated the customer service. His prices are a lot better than the big box rv stores. I highly recommend Southern RV Repair in Quincy.

Bad thunderstorm rolled through over weekend and killed AC. Spoke to Southern RV Repair and they were out to check AC within 15 mins. Within 30 minutes Mr Ray tracked the issue down to the control panel with nothing wrong with the unit. He did not have the part but he assured he he would get the part by the next day. He returned and replaced the control panel and within 30 minutes the camper had cool air rolling throughout. Very honest and dependable.Service: Air conditioning

Great experience here after hearing horror stories about some other RV repair places. John is a pleasure to work with, reasonably priced and does good work (and quickly!) We took ours in for one thing, then called him a few times to ask him to look at a few other minor things that we'd been putting off fixing. Everything was fixed properly in less than a week, and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place! Not far off I-10 if you are passing through the Quincy area in North Florida.

Let me start by saying this is the only place I will ever take my camper to for repairs or maintenance. I am new to the RV world and purchased a used camper that needed some repairs and John fixed everything that needed repaired and inspected everything else to make sure all was in working order. He even took the time to teach me how to properly operate everything on my camper. John is a true professional in his work and genuinely a great person who treats his customers with respect and is quick to help them when his services are needed.

John replaced our toilet with a better quality one. His prices were very reasonable, his work was highly professional and performed other minor repairs he observed without added cost. I would highly recommend him and will be using him if needed in the future.

Had my roof resealed and bearing repacked and he went over the trailer to make sure all was good. John was very professional and polite and the trailer was ready on the day jet said it would be. He kept the parts he replaced to show me the deterioration. Highly recommend him.

Late Friday night the surge protector in our travel trailer popped off a couple times. The second time it came back on we still had no 50 amp power. Referred to John as an authorized Jayco warranty repair station he said he could come to where I was camped at 3 PM, on the same day. He arrived promptly, opened up the panel and said the surge protector was operating properly. He then tracked the wiring to the Magnum Invertor which had a popped breaker. Evidently it had a lower tolerance than the official surge protector. He taught me what to do and was on his way. An incredibly knowledgeable I was very appreciative for his skill and competence.Service: Electrical
