Worked here for half a day . A few days ago . They was selling used tires putting them as new . Not properly balancing wheels saying that if there was an issue they will come back . This is really a safety issue . I have video evidence to support everything I m saying in case they tell you I am lying. If you have kids I suggest you do not shop there . They may be nice but they do not put the customers safety first. Again I have evidence of everything I said on video and contacting the better business . They didn t even take a copy of a ID social nothing. Then paid me hush money 4 hours in . Which I also have on video . I am the 3rd person they did this to . Please choose a safer tire place . Again I have video evidence supporting

Wow! I was referred over here because they were recommended. I walked in. They found me four perfect tires over $200 less than the best price I could get from Costco babe. Mounted them balanced them. Had them on my car in less than 30 minutes. What a great service

Went in for a tire on my bucket truck. Was able to swap that out and rotate my Dullys faster than I ve ever seen. They are on Point! And very knowledgeable. had every answer to my questions. Sam and Cain are some hard workers! Got to appreciate good business with great people! Keep up good work tire discounters!

Avoid this place at all cost! First off they charge a $135 for a used tire.Then they will pressure you into paying cash so they don't have to pay taxes or so they can pocket the money. they pressure you to go across the street and use the bank's ATM to pull out cash. When I insisted on using my card He asked me for my pin number. Never in all my life Have I ever had anybody ask me for my pin number. They are super shady, a rip-off. And it's not very nice to boot. I Will never Go back there, infact I feel like I need a shower.

Needed all my lug nuts replaced. Walked in with a replacement set, 15 minutes before close no appointment, and was able to get me in and out in no time. Thanks guys, will be back in the future!

My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Tire Discounters in Punta Gorda today June 16 . The right rear tire of our Mazda SUV had a leak due to a nail. She called three local chain tire stores and was told it would be a three hour wait or we would have to drop it off overnight. Her next call was to Tire Discounters and I am glad she did. They saw us right away with no waiting. Sam at the front desk was friendly, pleasant, and professional as were all the guys working this day. The leak was fixed and off we went. Total time thirty minutes. I told Sam that any future issues or maintenance with our car we will come straight to this gem of a business in Punta Gorda !

Quickly install used but newish tire. Probably better off at a real tire shop but hes quick and cheap ish.

I own a 1964 vintage Airstream that needed tires, rims and retro styled hubcaps replaced. I called several local RV repair shops with no luck getting scheduled for the upgrade. Most of the shops never returned my calls. I was thenreferred to Discount Tires by my son who is an assistant sales manager at Gene Gorman's Auto Sales.Sammy, the manager, got the Airstream in the same day and the work was completed in a quick and professional manner. The install was not simple given that the Airstream has a 1964 chassis! Many thanks to Sammy and the crew for the great service! I will spread the word at the next Airstream Rally!

This tire shop rocks. I had already paid another shop in N. Fort Myers to balance my tires, and yet I was still getting a wobble in the passenger front wheel as I drove. So I took it by Tire Discounters. No waiting, just great service. They showed me how it was completely off-balance, and needed a counter-weight of 2.5 oz on the opposite side. 20 mins. later, off I go and no more wobble.Thanks guys, you made my day.

We are snow birds from New Hampshire and picked up a nail in our tire on our SUV and was loosing air. Stopped at Tire Kingdom first and was told they couldn't help us for 3 days. Next stop was here at Tire Discounters who had us back on the road in 15-20 minutes. Great service. I own a car dealership in New Hampshire and try and operate just like they did. Thanks for the great service.

They patched up my work truck within 30 mins!!! No one else could fit me in. And I didn't have to wait forever like at Walmart. All the guys were super nice. $50 patch but it was worth it!! Thank you discount tires !!

Make sure when asking for a price you asked for new or used tires. But beyond that the service was amazing and fast it's not very pretty and it's not very fancy but it's basically what you want when you want to get your tire changed quick and fast and no BS. I got quoted a very decent price I had my tire changed within 5 minutes and I was even quoted for other parts that were wrong with my car at a very reasonable price installed I will come back to have those parts installed. I got a 60,000 mi tire Michelin installed and balanced for 82 bucks.

My tires needed a lock key to remove (theft prevention) that wasn t included when I bought my used car. The owner proceeded to attempt to grind down the lock with an air chisel, only asking permission after he had already started grinding down the lock and damaging the wheel, telling me I had a problem because I was missing the key. His employee Amber was kind and more knowledgeable and told me right off the bat I would need a key to remove the lock. I ended up buying an overpriced tire because it was an emergency and taking the car to the VW dealership. What would ve been a quick an inexpensive fix since they have a master key became a whole issue because he was hasty and careless and damaged the lock while chiseling it down. I wouldn t recommend

I'm a Charlotte County native and let me tell you. This tire store is probably the worst of them in the area. Their tires are prices almost double of the other stores in the area. They charge new tire price on used tires. The guy that runs the place is lazy, a slob, and disrespectful. If I could I would give them ZERO stars. I'm still shocked they have been in business as long as they have. Find somewhere else to go. Trust me.

!CAUTION! As other reviews have indicated, the price changes when you arrive. I should have heeded that warning. My wife called and was quoted a price of $25 per tire to swap to another set. We provided the correct make, model, and tire size of the vehicle before quoting a price. I live about 30 minutes away so this place is not exactly close. I enjoy supporting local businesses and Walmart was much closer but I decided to take the trip. I arrived and guess what? They saw how I was dressed and my car (which is nice) and instantly it was $35 per tire. The guy just laughed then continued with what he was doing. I do not write poor reviews for local businesses as a matter of practice. This is my first. However, if you have a nice vehicle or are nicely dressed they may take advantage of you. Seriously, heed this warning and the warning of other reviews here.

I called them on a Saturday morning with a tire that was going flat fast he said bring it right in , I pulled in with a 24 foot Motor home and 30 foot trailer attached he had 3 guys on it and got me back on the road within a hour. great service good people

I "discovered" this business almost ten years ago. If you want the best price on tires or any other service they offer, and fast performance of that service, then this is the place for you.

This shop is not pretty but has stood the test of time. They work quickly, respectfully, and are as accommodating as they can be. They sell new and used tires, do brakes. They quote prices up front and business is still done with a hand shake. They inspect related items to the work you are having done so if additional work is needed they notify you but they don't pressure you. We've used them since the 1980's and have never been disappointed.

After finding a screw in one of my car tires, I was at risk of not making an appointment I was headed to. I stopped at two other shops I knew of and called three more, but nobody could help me out in a pinch. I finally found Tire Discounters of Florida while searching on my phone. It s an old-fashioned mom-and-pop type place where the guys are friendly and have helpful can do attitudes. Less than 20 minutes after my arrival, I was back on the road and made my appointment thanks to those guys. A+ and thanks again!

Adding to what my husband previously stated. I am well aware of what he was quoted on the phone ($10 per tire) for rotation and $30 for repairing my tire. It wasn't until I arrived that the front line man thought he was going to charge me 12.95 per tire for rotating. On top of this when I ask him where the manager was he proceeds to tell me he at home and "nobody talks to him." The only other person who seemed to have a voice in this place was the gentleman inside who my husband called while I was standing there. He was giving one price on the phone while the man in front of me is giving me a ridiculous total that started out at $130 and when all was said and done ended up being $90 for rotating my tires, repairing one tire in two spots and sticking the nail back in my other tire to get me to the dealership. Apparently there is a $10 charge for cleaning the slime out of my tire? Either way, it truly makes you feel taken advantage of when someone tells you one thing and tries to get one over on you. Very unprofessional and I'm not sure for one how I ended up here nor do I understand how they have stayed in business. Maybe because the people who end up here get taken advantage of as well? Very sad to say the least.

Charging $100+ for a single used tire doesn't live up to the tire discounters name
