There is nothing better for a company's reputation than arriving when they say they going to arrive and doing what came to do in a competent manner and then charging a reasonable price for their services. I needed a new inverter/charger on my large tag axle diesel pusher. Suncoast RV Repair arrived a few minutes early and got to work. Brian, the owner explained everything he and his tech Paul were going to do. The install went without a hitch...everything powered up and worked. It is very comforting to know that there is a local company that will be responsive to my future needs. I highly recommend Suncoast RV Repair.

Extremely unreliable and would not recommend for any service. We were working with the RV dealership to have a warranty item installed and the dealership contacted Brian to do the work. He knew the part was being shipped for at least a week in advance and when it got to Florida we called him to arrange the work to be done but he kept promising to work us in the next day which never happened, twice. We were set to move on and he again promised to be there the day prior to our departure but never showed and never called. Communication was non- existent - we always had to initiate contact. Would not recommend hiring.

Brian & his team are professional, courteous, knowledgeable. I had a 26' slide on my motorhome fail due to a bad motor. It was a very difficult repair. They did a great job and were very fair on the fee for this repair.

First of all we hired the wrong guy to set us up for a 30amp service at our property in Punta Gorda. He wired it wrong and literally fried most of everything in our new camper. Being very frustrated, we called Suncoast and they helped us so much from the first day by getting everything they could immediately get running. They had to order a new converter, GFI's and supplied us with a 110 adapter and had us totally fixed within 4 days. These guys are class acts and very genuine. We will use them for all our camper needs from here on out!!

We were about to leave on a 3-month RV trip when our inverter went out. We only had a few days before leaving. All of the area dealers were unable to schedule us quickly even though we had the replacement part but Suncoast Mobile RV was able to fit us in at their shop. Professional work at a realistic price. The Suncoast Mobile RV Repair technicians arrived promptly, introduced themselves courteously, and got to work efficiently. I had several plumbing issues, including a toilet that wouldn't flush and a seal that wouldn't hold water, and needed my tires checked, and other small repairs. They were extremely knowledgeable and pleasant and quickly took care of all of my issues. What I most appreciated was how they listened carefully, and then worked hard to fix everything to my satisfaction. They have performed larger repairs for me in the past, as well. Our air conditioning quit working right after our arrival in FL for a brief stay. Brian returned our call promptly and came out on a holiday. Unfortunately our unit may require complete replacement so we decided to wait until we return home. Brian is very professional and did his best to get it running. If we are ever in the area again and need service we would absolutely call him.Service: Air conditioning

Great service. Returned my call even though I called after business hours. Came out the next day and had our air conditioners maintenance and fixed very quickly. Brian is very pleasant and great to deal with. Thank you for making our RV nice and cool again. We will definitely use Suncoast Mobile RV Repair again.

Brian came out to our Newmar RV, where our electric for our headlights were not fixed right at a dealership we previously had it repaired, and went right on to fix them. Within an hour he was done and did an excellent job at getting them working perfectly. He was kind, polite, professional and serious about his work. I had my first occasion to call Brian at Suncoast Mobile RV. He and his guys were able to diagnose a minor problem with my TV that I had been trying to get fixed at the dealership since January. They were great and had it fixed in no time.While there I learned about his awesome maintenance service that he provides and will definitely use him for this. My next service is to check and clean my air conditioners, oil and lube my slide outs and have him check out my entire roof.His prices are more than reasonable and he is a pleasure to deal with.I cannot give a higher compliment.Thank you.

Our Dish connection cables were not connecting to our dish box when we came to Florida. Upon calling different companies to ask if they did any repairs with a mobile unit on site, one referred me to Sun Coast Mobile RV Repair. It was the best recommendation we received. Brian was prompt, courteous and patient. Unfortunately, it took a couple of hours to find the problem due to the poor installation of the cables that were installed when we purchased the coach from the dealer. Once diagnosed, he fixed it within minutes. He charged a fair price and it would have cost so much more to have taken the coach to a dealer maybe waiting two or three days for them to look at the coach. Not having to move the coach once we were settled was a big plus in our book. We were impressed with his professionalism and competence. If there are any other problems with our coach, Brian is the man we will contact with confidence.

Brian sealed and coated our RV roof and replaced heating elements in our Norcold Fridge. He was a good communicator and did a great job! He was also very timely and reliable which I haven't seen with other mobile RV repair companies . He does charge a trip charge to come out which covers the cost of his travel and time but his overall cost to do the work is very reasonable which makes up for it. I would highly recommend Brian for your RV repair needs. We will definitely be using him again!

Beware. Doesn't return calls or texts. Left us high and dry.They came to do a walk- through of the new-to-us RV and teach us everything. Gave them a list of items we'd like replaced or checked before we were forced to live in it full time. They invoiced me for that walk through, I didn't question the invoice even though it seemed a little high and paid in minutes. Never heard from them again except to tell me where to go for towing package installation in a text. Not even the courtesy of telling me they can't help us/too busy, anything.

I called Brian and left a message, which was returned within an hour or so. He came the next day and promptly performed the requested repairs. He was prompt, friendly and performed the requested services in a professional manner. His prices for the work performed were fair.I highly recommend Suncoast and will certainly use them again. I appreciate dealing with a true professional

We only recommend Brian from Suncoast RV repair. We had a bad experience with another mobile repair company.We had an electrical issue with our RV which he quickly identified and resolved....and for a fair price.It would have taken us 4+ weeks to have gotten an appointment with our RV dealer service center. Brian came within 2 days to our place to do the repair. We highly recommend Brian and his company!Dan and Wendy D.

They came out on my refrigerator. Didn't know what they were doing. Unplugged my refrigerator fans and never plugged them back in. Said they were ordering a part been over two weeks never heard back from them. Another company came out plugged fans back in and defrosted unit . And it now works fine

My wife and I recently purchased a 16 tag along Viking camper. Outside the camper was in good condition and the inside was meticulous and very clean with no sign of water damage from the top side. Because of that we did not think to inspect the roof for soft spot or damage. As the new owner, that was our bad. Unfortunately every corner was extremely soft along with the edges. Being inexperienced we immediately called Suncoast Mobile RV repair. I explained our dilemma and they recommended we bring it in to their shop located in Punta Gorda. Brian greeted us at the door, immediately climbed on the ladder and immediately began inspection of the entire top side. Unfortunately the report was much less than desirable but he kept the camper for a complete roof replacement to include new trusses. Suncoast is the sole distributor of an Acrylatec roofing in the entire state of Florida and trust me they are very knowledgeable and professional in doing all the prep work and installation of this product. Brian even designed and placed front and rear lower platform for front and back side of AC unit enabling the unit complete stability and leveling. With this design I have no concern of the AC unit bouncing up and down while driving down bumpy roads or highways under heavy construction. The quality of this product and installation by Suncoast Mobile RV Repair and bi-weekly updates on their progress was exceptional. This RV roof replacement is by far the nicest roof I ve ever seen on any RV whether new or used. The professionalism of this company is top notch. I highly recommend this company for any RV repair. Great job guys

Suncoast Mobile RV Repair went above and beyond for me. I needed a few things taken care of on my trailer while on a road trip. They fit me into their schedule and we're able to perform all requested tasks on time. They are very professional, do great work and most importantly for me finished when they said they would. Brian did roof repairs to my 2001 Fleetwood Boulder 36U. He was very organized and efficient. He traveled All the way from North Port to Alva and was right on time. This being my first experience with his company I would use Suncoast RV repair again. If there s anything to worry about it might be that Brian is the owner and sole employee. He may get too popular to keep up with all the work But till then if you own a RV and you need an honest dependable service person Brian should be your first call.

We were leaving for a month-long trip in our fifth wheel when we experienced problems with our air conditioner. Brian stopped on his way home, checked it out and got it going. He called us while we were on the road to make sure everything was working. We are very impressed with Brian s knowledge and his willingness to make sure the job is done right. He will be our first call in the future!

Suncoast Mobile RV Repair is awesome! I have a 2017 Fleetwood Bounder, barely had it a year, and unfortunately have numerous issues. These issues seem to arise at the worst time...getting ready to leave for vacation, a weekend getaway, or while on vacation. The dealership, which is too far to take and get repaired, is just not an option when you are almost ready to leave for vacation, or already on vacation. Brian has been a life saver on two separate occasions! He is very knowledgeable, detailed, and provides great customer service. Hands down the best at what he does. I am writing this review as he just finished our repair, and it s almost 9pm...that should be your sign.

One Sunday morning during a very hot week in Port Charlotte, FL the front air conditioner on our motor home started making a horrendous racket. After shutting it off I climbed up on the roof and diagnosed the problem as a bad condenser motor. I called Suncoast Mobile RV repair seeking someone to make repairs but as it was Sunday I was not expecting a call back until the next day. Much to my surprise Brian Mellott, the owner of Suncoast Mobile RV, called back within an hour and after explaining the problem promised to be at my door first thing on Monday morning.Sure enough, Brian arrived on Monday morning, climbed up on the roof and confirmed my diagnosis (which later turned out to be wrong). He ordered a new condenser motor from Coleman and I authorized an overnight shipment. The part arrived the next day and Brian was out in the early afternoon to install it. Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem. The clatter had not stopped and now the plastic fan blade was damaged. Upon closer examination Brian found two rubber insulators that cushion the condenser motor from the air conditioner frame had cracked, one completely through. This was causing the condenser motor to shake violently shake and tilt off level just enough to damage the fan blade.We were now certain of the diagnosis but the problem was availability of parts. It was too late to order them from Coleman and none of the parts suppliers in the area including Camping World stocked them. But Brian said there might be a chance that a RV salvage yard/recycle shop in Fort Myers might have what was needed. That shop was a 45-minute one-way drive. He drove down to the shop first thing the next morning, found two insulators and a fan blade just what was needed. He had the new parts installed about an hour later and our air conditioning was back in service.I don t blame Brian for not diagnosing this as the problem as it was nearly impossible to see the damaged insulators without disassembling the mount. In my opinion he went the extra mile to locate and get the needed parts to get us back in service. Brian is honest and trustworthy and what really impressed me was returning my initial after-hours phone call on a Sunday and making the 2-hr round trip to Ft. Myers hoping to find parts.There s nearly nothing worse than being away from home when a much needed system fails on your RV and then calling for help but receiving no call back at least acknowledging that the message had been heard. We actually made a call to a second mobile service provider shortly after called Suncoast as a hedge. That call was not returned until late Monday afternoon. Brian returned our call within an hour.If you find yourself in the Port Charlotte/North Port/Rotunda/Englewood area needing repairs call Brian at Suncoast Mobile RV. You won t be disappointed

When your RV needs a repair, Suncoast Mobile RV Repair is the one to call. What was very important to me was that Brian the owner called me back within an hour. He thoroughly explained everything to me up front,and found his pricing to be very fair. He showed up when he said he would, and we all know how important that is. He also addressed some additional concerns that I had for possible work in the future. Very Professional, Thorough and Courteous. I'm very happy I contacted Suncoast Mobile RV Repair and would Highly Recommend using them for all of your RV concerns and repairs.

Brian was awesome. Working with dealerships is never easy, but Brian was patient and he knew his stuff. He kept in contact with both the dealer and us throughout the entire time we needed his service. He also traveled all the way from North Port to Lehigh three times. We highly recommend him! Brian and Suncoast Mobile RV Repair was a true find! Its scary out there finding reliable, knowledgeable, and efficient service!I had just bought a new RV that had damage (to a drawer) upon delivery and a slide that had a gap. Other RV servicers either did not return my calls/emails, or just were not recommended by reviews or others in my RV park.Brian responded to my request for service, came out right away, and gave me detailed and reasonable quotes, and was very knowledgeable about what was needed. Even when the dealer sent the wrong materials, he went out and bought what was needed.I totally trust Brian to help me with my RV repairs and routine maintenance. Thanks Brian!

It's been since Dec 21, 2021 that they have contacted me on their own concerning my simple repairs. I've contacted them 3x and they have replied once with no progress. So, if you're looking for a company that is more than two months behind schedule and is absolutely unwilling to give simple courtesy calls to update with progress or problems then I'd say that this is the service company for you.Service: Body & Trim

Ok. I had left a post earlier when I was ignored and then deleted it because I don t like to be negative However, I just heard back from these people. I ll post the text at the end. I paid these people 250 dollars for their initial estimate on 12/23 with the promise that they would get back to me within the week. I let the fact slide that they didn t get back to me because it was during the holidays. However on 1/21 and 1/22 ish, I called and left two voicemails because I needed to answers. These people informed me that they are a small business and can t get back to me within the promised time line because they are a small business with only two techs and they were currently busy at RV shows. Um, why did you take my money knowing that you were not going to be able to fix my issues in the time that you promised? Anyways, so finally they texted me back today saying that they might be able to ORDER the parts at the end of the week. I want to go with another company but they will not refund me the 250 for the 30 minute initial assessment. Do NOT use these people. They will scam you. They will take your money and go off spending it at their RV shows while you sit waiting for a response just to get parts ordered for over a month.Services: Electrical, Air conditioning
