On 06/03/2024 I visited this service center with the intention of changing a broken belt. After the diagnosis, I was given recommendations, one of which was to replace the timing belt. I agreed because they assured me that this belt had never been changed on my car.Since this work takes time to complete, I had to leave the car at the service center and pick it up only the next day. I paid $1499 for the work done.On 03/26/2024 I had to go to another Toyota service center. And one of the key recommendations was to change the timing belt. The cost of the work is more than $1300.I said that this belt was replaced three weeks ago. Together we looked at the history of my visits to service centers. And there was only a recommendation to change the timing belt.There is not a single replaced belt in my history. It turns out I was cheated out of $1300. It is unpleasant.
