Had a very scary experience on Florida's I 75 when our engine quit running. The vehicle was towed to the Dealership and Service Writer Anthony Uhler calmed my wife and really cared about us and my car! He expedited the installation of my new engine and all was completed in an amazing time-frame! I got my 2017 Santa fe back and it running excellent again! Would recommend this Dealership to all! 10+ Rating!

I reached out to the sales department over the phone to inquire about leasing a car. The salesperson was nice and helpful. In the process of negotiation mangers called me a few times to offer more money for my trade in. The last call from a manager was in response to my request for a written quote for the lease. He did not want to give me one, rather he told me that the phone call was recorded and he promised me that he would honor his quote of the monthly payment. We drove 45 minutes to the dealership. When we saw the quote on paper the price was almost $100 dollars more.Obviously we were upset. We do not understand why they feel the need to lie and deceive clients. They ruined the buying experience and tainted the Hyundai brand.I do not want a reply from the dealership, rather just be honest upfront so that clients can make good informed decisions and not feel deceived and waste their time.

This dealership was beyond amazing. They are by far the best dealership to buy car from. Kirsten was beyond incredible she made our car buying experience so easy. I hated going to dealerships due to a lot of them just trying to sell you a dream. Kirsten listened and delivered everything we wanted and more. Than we got to meet Bobbie he was incredible as well he made the signing of the contract so fun and easy. I will recommend this dealership to anybody who wants an easy car buying experience.

Chris our salesperson was nothing short of fantastic. He executed the deal with such enthusiasm and expertise. He was knowledgeable about the features and specials on the vehicle. His warm personality definitely added to the comfort I felt with buying the car same day. He absolutely is an asset to Gettel Hyundai of Charlotte County. Bobby, our finance manager was great as well and helped us close a nice deal. I m so happy with my 2024 Hyundai Tucson Limited!

The folks at Gettel were great. They took the non-normal customer approach that when there was a conflict between the customer said/Dealer said, they automatically sided with the customer. There was a missing item from the car when delivered from the other dealership and they immediately obtained the part and delivered ASAP. Very satisfied with both the customer support, sales and turnaround. Great job.

Bad experience.About a week after I paid $15000 for a used car, my partner got a medical problem and can no longer drive.I went back to the dealer and tried to return the car. I told them I understand that they have to make profit and I would not expect to get a full refund.They told me they didn't want the car and would give me nothing.I tried to sell it myself and found out the car is only worth about half as much as I paid for it.It has cost me about $8000.It think this is unfair and I will never recommend this dealer to anyone.I will share my experience with Gettel with all my family and friends and neighbors.

Joey Soto was our sales associate and was very knowledgeable on the Hyundai sonatas he showed us. He was very friendly, and not at all pushy. We ended up with a certified newer model Hyundai sonata. He worked with us on the purchase to make the deal happen. Which was a great. It was a great buying experience and would recommend Joey for any future car purchases. Ben the finance manager was very professional and courteous on all the closing papers to make the deal quick and easy. This was our third purchase of a sonata from Gettel ,We like the professionalism and the friendly service they provide .thanks,Keith Logan.

It was the ease of making the arrangements to test drive because I flew in from another state, having the vehicle ready, and the genuine friendliness of the Dealership and sales person. I fell in love with the Hyundai Santa Cruz, it's style, drive and feel of the vehicle.

I recently leased a new Sonata from Gettel Hyundai. I found their sales staff to willing to work hard to get a new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid for me.Throughout the process, they were friendly and respectful. When some impediments came up, the sales manager, Sandy Ruiz, put in a lot of time and effort to make the deal work for me.I was so pleased with my initial experience, that when the lease on my second car came up, I returned to Gettel Hyundai. Once again, I had a very positive experience. At every step of the process, I felt comfortable and well informed. Special thanks to the sales manager, Sandy Ruiz, who worked diligently to get the car I wanted at the right price. I also want to recognize my salesman, Cedric Nicolas. You could not ask for a more attentive, respectful, and thorough individual.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this is definitely necessary. The whole car buying process was awful. Very high pressure. They didn t have the color I wanted and told me they wouldn t be getting it. Saying I needed some time to think about only made it worse. They then paraded out various staff to add on the pressure. They all used different (and odd) tactics to close the deal. The finance manager called my interest rate a gift like I owed him one when really I could have gotten that rate from my bank and then argued with me on why I needed to think about it, the sales manager saying I m just going to call you Sweets after I gave him my name, was super weird and creepy I get that this car model just came out but the sales person didn t know basic functions like how to set the adjustable lift gate. I bought the car with what I thought was a scratch. When I came to pick up the car, it turned out that it was a residual piece of glue. The sales guy who went out to my car made the comment., you re just trying to get free stuff. Yeah dude this free paint stick was really what I was after. The final straw was, I was verbally told that the car I purchased was pre-wired for towing. I later found out it s not. I called the dealership to ask questions and I was told that I had to prove someone said it to me because it wasn t on the window sticker. I took the car over to Hyundai in Fort Myers, which I highly recommend by the way, they ran the VIN and sure enough the wiring should have been there. So if being talked down to and treated like garbage is your thing come here.The only redeeming quality this dealership is its service department. The people I dealt with on my previous vehicle have always been fantastic but I won t be going back there with this new vehicle.The boilerplate statement by Gettel is a joke. They can easily reach out but won t because they are awful.

I was trying to buy a certified pre-owned 2022Tuscan Limited from a salesperson, Joey Soto. While the experience started out very pleasant. It unfortunately did not end up that way. To be clear. We did all our negotiating via phone, text and email. I have owned several of these vehicles. And currently own a 2019 Toucan Limited. The vehicle I was looking at was a clone to the one I currently own. I was looking at the 2022 version. It was identical. Including the color, options. Even down to the pin striping and tinted windows. I live about an hour from the dealership and did not feel a need to come to the showroom until we hammered out the "out the door" numbers. and was very familiar with the vehicle. I expressed that to Joey. He was pleasant enough at the beginning, but really kept pushing hard to get me into the showroom. As we all know. Once they get you on "their turf" they feel they're manipulate you into a different price and terms.Bottom line. After several rounds of negotiations, we could not agree to terms, said our goodbyes. All the while pushing, pushing, pushing to have me come down to the showroom. The next day. I get a call from Joey saying the manager has agreed to our price. When can you come in? I said "great". Please write up the agreement and send it to me (via email) and we'll go from there. I wanted this vehicle. But I wanted to review the numbers and see how he got there. Can't do that he says. "I'm working on 5 deals at the moment." No problem. Send it when you can. Then I then received a text message several minutes later. "Good luck with your search." Wait a minute! You called me and just said the manager agreed to the price! It was all just a ploy to get me down there and try to manipulate me. This is why no one enjoys the car buying experience. They're liars and cheats trying to get every nickel they can from you. STAY AWAY!

The experience at the dealer was great. Everyone helpful and pleasant. Since we have returned home (we bought the vehicle while on vacation) we cannot get a phone call returned and we are now running on expired paper plates because we have not received any of the needed paperwork from the dealer.

They make buying a new car very easy! AJ was a pleasure to deal with. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and not at all pushy, He actually listens to what the customer wants and makes it happen. The financing was easy and quick and that was made clear to me that anytime I have any questions at all. I should just reach out to the Dealership I truly feel like a valuedcustomer after leaving there

Awful buying experience. Salesman quoted 30K plus tax and tags for vehicle on the phone. When I got to dealership price was $37K. Played games for 3.5 hours to keep me in the dealership. Went to different dealer the next and purchased a vehicle. They unknowingly did me a huge favor. I would NEVER shop at this dealer again!

Best buying experience I could have asked for. No pushy sales tactics, they worked with me, and even stayed at the dealership late to make the deal happen. I love my new 2023 Santa Cruz! Gettel Hyundai of Port Charlotte was nothing short of awesome. Got me in the right vehicle and overcame all my objections. Hyundai takes care of Veteran s too.Since the sale was completed, their sales team has taken care of me every step of the way. "Ami" was amazing! He went above and beyond to earn my trust which ultimately earned my business. I saw an advertisement online and I lived 70 miles away so I wasn't going to just go see it. He went out and took a video for me. He made sure I was comfortable while I was there. I just have never had that level of service ever before and I've bought many many many new vehicles. Just purchased our 2024 Hyundai Tucson. Our salesperson, John Boscarino, was very personable and fantastic to work with. Great customer service and follow-up to any questions we had. Once we decided to purchase, the process was painless, quick and easy. Look forward to many years of service from this dealer in Punta Gorda, FL. Went in for alarm recall and made mistake of asking them to check steering. They needed $189 for diagnosis. After 2 hours, they cam back with estimate for steering issue and a slew of recommendations for other work to the tune of over 4K. After tax and parts (for the free recall). I had a bill of $220. They told me it would apply if I used them to get the work done. Took car to private auto shop where they basically said I didn't need any of their recommendations. Caveat Emptor folks. Of some soul didn't know any better they could have been scared into spending over 4 grand. Never again Gettel.

Just bought a 2024 Elantra hybrid from Henry Rosales. He was great as was everyone here! Henry took the time to show us vehicles and explained the differences to us. Everyone here is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend them!

The sales dept were great. They were professional, listened to us and were accommodating. The prep dept, not so much. We bought a 5 year old used car. It has an oil capacity a little more than the average car and was delivered low on oil. The battery was original and failed the day after we got it home. I don't think they gave it much of an inspection. We told the dealer about the issues and they wanted us to do a survey anyway.

We have bought from this dealership, but the last few times we were there for service, it took forever. We tried to buy from this dealership for our last 2 purchases, but they tried to overcharge us nearly $5,000. Each time, I knew what I was going to pay up the road in Lee County, and we ended up leaving Gettel to go complete the purchase elsewhere. I'm not sure why they thought we would just overpay, but each time I called their bluff and bought elsewhere. I really enjoyed buying all of our 4 vehicles there when this was the Palm Auto Mall. The new owners or management just isn't the same.

Disappointed - After watching the Punta Gorda Hyundai Dealership completed, we were excited to finally get to experience it for ourselves, as our IONIC 5 heretofore was only able to be serviced at the Venice Dealership. We booked an appointment online for scheduled maintenance and a rear rattle that needed service attention. We arrived 3 before our scheduled 8:15 appointment and were greeted by a kind gentleman. We were the only ones in the arrival bay, and he promptly directed us inside to speak with Ashley, a service consultant. We entered a small glass room where two ladies were at their desks, on their computers. Neither of them looked up or greeted us. I finally spoke up and asked if one was, in fact, Ashley. Without looking up, the one on the left said "I need a minute". Not hello, I'm Ashley, or "I'll be right with you." In short, our entire interaction with her was a downer. We totally felt like an interruption in her day. This is in total contrast to our experience at the Venice Hyundai dealership. They did finish the vehicle before noon and she was better upon the return. We're not at all sure if we'll go back, but this first impression of the service definitely doesn't bode well going forward.

The work was done in a timely manner, for open service, but the service advisor was Kurt, and direct, to the point, with little diplomacy, I wanted my car looked at for Light Bulb issues and was told it was "out of warrantee" even though the light bulb issue was related to a failed brake light engagement/ release button known to be defective for years, ( I had to pay for that one too) Advisor did not offer to address my concerns for cost as well. In addition, Advisor did not discuss if my car needed any other repairs/ issues, not related to any warrantee. When I received my car back it was dirty, and I asked if they could run through the wash, which the outside assistant, did do cheerfully.

I am a single mom and practically live in my car so very important that it be reliable. When our Sonata reached a point of no longer fulfilling that requirement we headed to Gettel to trade it in.
