awesome people but not cheap. found my problem but haven't fixed it. 170$ an hour in my case took two days to find what's wrong.

AVOID THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT ALL COSTS. I had excellent experience with the previous owner Palm Auto & thought I would try them again under the new ownership. I found them to be OVER TWICE AS EXPENSIVE as recommended and, while regular staff were helpful, I found the manager & assistant manager to be untruthful, condescending & down right rude. I have a 2010 Hyundai Elantra & the Check Engine light came on & I took it to Gettel Hyundai Service. They said it was a vacuum leak & replaced the gas cap, but I told them the gas cap was replaced 2 weeks previously. They took the car back & said the vacuum leak was due to the Vapor Canister Shutoff (purge) valve & replaced part 31430-2H000 for $335 ($166 parts & $146 labor). After the fact I checked standard rates for this work & it should have been $125 ($75 parts & $50 labor) - LESS THAN HALF WHAT GETTEL CHARGED. After I paid & drove away I realized I couldn't read the mileage on the LED screen on the dash so I returned to the Service Department. They said it was the LED screen & it ONLY A COINCIDENCE it went out during the 45 minutes my car was in their shop. I asked them to check the fuses & they said that wasn't the problem - without checking. They replaced the screen for free - for another 45 minutes - but said that didn't fix the problem & it needed a whole screen cluster & the car would have to be sent away from their shop for 3 days while the new cluster was calibrated. I took my keys back & drove away feeling duped & taken advantage of. I won't go back. Shame on you Gettel Hyundai Service.

Had my 03 Corvette towed to Gettel on Saturday morning. I spoke with "George". I told him the transmission shifter cable was bad. George told me that the car could possibly be fixed by the afternoon. He told me he would call and advise me. No call! I called first thing Monday morning. The phone rang and rain. No answer. I left a voice mail message and no one returned my call. I called again later and spoke with a service adviser. She informed me that George was my adviser and he would call me later in the day. NO call! I called the service department at 5:15. They close at 5:30. No answer. I left a voice mail message and received no return call. I am a long time Gettel customer. I have purchased 4 cars from Gettel and have serviced them all. I sent an email to the General Manager and the Customer Service Manager. I received no reply. On Tuesday morning I waited for a call. I received none. I called and asked to speak to the service manger. I got his voice mail and left a message. No return call. I finally received a call from George. He told me I needed a new transmission cable. Surprise! He told me the cost was over $700. Outrageous! Gettel certainly does not know how to treat their loyal customers and I get the feeling they just don't care. Needless to say I will no longer be doing business with Gettel Chevrolet and suggest you don't either!Service: Transmission

I took my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe in for a factory recall. It was only a software update, was told approximately an hour to complete. After about a hour I happened to glance out the window and as a car like mine parked in completed lot. I watched it, but believed that the service advisor would notify me that it was complete as she said she would. After about 30minutes I went to the window and verified that it was my vehicle. I went to the service advisor and asked if my car was done. Yes I was told it was. I asked why it sat for 30minutes and I was not notified that it was done. She had no answers only that there was one of her and 11 customers. I don't know if that was true but I do know that all 3 service advisor counters had employees working. Amber the service advisor that I was working with finished my paperwork and gave me my keys, NEVER apologized for the problem and NEVER thanked me. Not impressed and will not recommend them to anyone. I hope Mike McDade the service manager reads this.

My salesperson, Cordale Johnson,w wonderful as well as Matt, Finance Manager. If you plan on buying a Hyundai, I would certainly recommend Cordale at Gettel Hyundai. As far as purchased new vehicle, I am working on falling in love with it...was not my first choice so the love is a work in progress.

Still waiting on the phone call that would only be a couple days about my tail light replacement. It's been over a week, still no call.Don't make promises and not deliver.If it weren't for this, it would have been 5 stars.

I had to bring my car back twice in less than 2 weeks and it took about a week and a half to fix when the problem should of been fixed all in one

My whole experience with Gettle...specifically Dodge was horrible and continues to be a nightmare. Why did Palm Automotive have to leave!!!!!

Does not sell car parts just buys the cars. I ask them what they do with cars they buy and they would not say. So I was thonking they scrap them or fix up and sell I don't know.
