Great service! They had a long waiting list to fix my car but they were very understanding and polite. They worked with my insurance company to make the process as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend to anyone needing body work for their car.

They were quick with getting an estimate to insurance. Finding parking was difficult due to location. They do not do Rhino lining, unfortunately. But I outsourced for that. Will review again once my truck is complete.

I brought my aluminum Mercedes SL 550 to the Gerber facility in Punta Gorda for a few paint chips and one small ding repair. Friends said don't take it to a regular collision place. Its a high-end car and they insisted I should take it to a specialty paint shop or a Mercedes dealer. Well, in my opinion they could not have done a better job. The three part paint work is flawless. The car was ready when it was supposed to be. When I arrived it was spotless inside and out and ready to go, all for a price considerably less than a high-end specialty shop.A special shout out to Jonathan Wibbeler who navigated me through the entire process, kept me advised on progress and always had a smile.

Took my vehicle in for repairs from an accident. They were super efficient and communicated with me the entire time. Love the text message updates! Beats having to call and check on the status. My truck came put in perfect condition!!! They even gave it a good cleaning inside & outside!!!!!! Thank You Gerber & Team for taking care of my truck & a wonderful experience & quick turn around time for my vehicle to be completed!!! You guys rock & I will be sure to send people to you for repairs!!!!

Gerber- let me try to summarize this. 2 claims. Hurricane + car accident (quarter panel)DROP my car off. Told 4 weeks (but probably sooner) had updates first 3 weeks. 4th week nothing. "It's almost done. JUST calibration and window tint" same response for 5 days straight!! Finally they tell me the window tint guy can't come until next week. OK. So give me my car, I'll be back next week. They say at 1pm they're washing my car. Show up at 5pm and it's NOT clean. Not ready to be released. It STILL had 2 scratches, needed calibration, needed window tint, giant gap next to hood, and the ENTIRE CAR WAS BUFF BURNED! Take it back. They fixed scratches, tint, calibration. Polished it. STILL HAS BUFF BURN SCRATCHES that they want to say it's before I brought it in. 100% False. My car only has 20k miles on it. It was pristine!!! OK so the last week they AGREED to pay my rental car. Oops they accidentally charged me. Manager isnt in now, we don't know when he'll be back to be able to fix it...But I don't have a right to be upset.

Had a recent repair after a collision. They did a great job, completed the repair in the timeframe originally estimated, worked seamlessly with our insurance company and provided updates all along the way of their progress. They made an unpleasant situation as painless as possible.

Thorough expert collision repair on my 1996 Jaguar. Hood replacement and front assembly. Great job with this difficult repair. Painted to match the rest of the car and it looks uniform like the damage never even happened. Reasonable rates beat the competition and fast turn-around time even with having to order custom parts. Friendly and pleasant, too. Thank you Gerber - we have already referred a neighbor to your Punta Gorda shop. (before and after photos)

They did a great job and pretty much finished when they said they would other than a slight delay on getting a part but that happens these days. They worked out the discrepancy in the actual repair bill vs. the original estimate with Geico, I didn't have to do anything. Jon sent me text updates through the whole repair process and is a very polite and professional employee. Would definitely recommend them.Services: Painting, Auto glass repair, Body & Trim

Well to start I went in to have an estimate done on 2 doors on my truck. That was January 2023 and it was approved by the insurance to be done. So I had it scheduled to be dropped off on May 22, 2023. I went in to drop it off and they said that they don't have anything on the schedule for my truck. They went and looked it up in there system and they said it was called in on February 24th 2023 an canceled. And I know for a fact that it wasn't canceled at all. I pulled up my call logs for that day and there wasn't any phones calls made to them to cancel. I even took the day off to make sure I had my truck there on time to drop it off. I am so frustrated and upset over this. I had to wait 4 months for May 22rd to get it started and now this they told me they are booked out until March. But they went ahead and squeezed me in and got it done. They did a fantastic job. Thank you!

Let's start with TERRIBLE communication and they finesse us!! First was told that repairs would be 2 weeks roughly. Then when we dropped it off they said it would be a month. We're just now picking our vehicle up after SIX WEEKS!!! We were told this 0ast Friday it would be done and ready for pick up that day. It's now Tuesday at the end of the day (4:56pm) and were here WAITING for them to finish cleaning it. Very unprofessional, very late returning our car, horrible communication, and when we asked about them covering our rental for another week we were told it would be done THAT day (Friday) and they STILL had it until today (Tuesday) and didn't offer a rental. Would not advise unless you can be without your car for months!!Edit - told at 1pm it would be ready today at 430pm - its now 5:18 and they are CLOSED while we are STILL outside waiting for our car to finished being cleaned. We've been here 45 min waiting and still nothing

I have hurricane damage. I didn't like the idea of having to wait 10 months for an appointment . The staff was kind and helpful. Hopefully I will never have to go there again, lol

My wife and I just recently picked up our kia from here and we had to come on and do a review. This was absolutely some of the best service we have ever had. The staff was in constant contact with us even before they recieved our car which was a true savior in our situation (long story but the car was "lost" then found and brought to Gerber finally). As soon as they recieved our car we got the call and before we knew it and before it was even due to be done they were calling us again to come and pick her up. And boy oh boy did they knock it out of the park. Our car looked brand new and drives like a dream. They went above and beyond our expectations and I will forever recommend them to all my friends and family. Pricing is awesome, work is spectactular, and the staff are some of the nicest people I have dealt with in a long time.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Jonathan and Kerri were absolutely the my Angels! I was experiencing some terrible customer service from my own car insurance mind you that I pay for monthly and Jonathan and Carrie were concerned about me driving my vehicle when the guy from my insurance told me it was drivable and I felt like I nearly killed myself getting to Gerber in the first place but when I arrived there Carrie and Jonathan Help me from the moment I walked in Jonathan went out and looked at my car and deemed it on drivable and kept it there for me and Kerri has helped me from day one I m not computer savvy by any means and she helped me retrieve my claim number from my email and went above and beyond the call of duty I was so emotional because I felt that my insurance was being unprofessional towards me and I actually started crying and carry went out of her way to comfort me and to reassure me that everything was going to be OK these two people were God sent to me that day I can t explain anymore I can t put it in words how important Jonathan and Kerri we re to me the day I brought my car to Gerber Collision. If any of you I looking for a place to fix your car from a accident I highly recommend you go to Gerber collision you will not find better people to deal with in this city. Rude, unprofessional, and sarcastic staff (especially the front receptionist) Done business here in the past, but I will NEVER be back after today. There are many other auto shops in the area to go to that are actually professional, where the staff doesn t talk down to their customers, & are actually willing to do business with them.

They took the time to explain everything in detail, they provide daily updates on the progress of the repair, they completed the work sooner than they estimated, everyone was super nice, & they went above & beyond. Fast and friendly service. Gave me a fair price and the work was done well and in a timely manner. They didn't even have me make an appointment, squeezed me right in, it was a small job that only took about 45 minutes at most.Didn't have any problems with them and had a pleasant experience. Would go back and would recommend this shop to other people. Thanks a lot for your help and fixing my car.

very fast and efficient with the work i came in with some damage to my bumper and they took two ish days to get it fixed and it looks brand new! every was very nice and said hello when walking by. i will 100% come back or tell people to come here. with them working with the enterprise down the road. worked out great!

So pleased with the repairs on my vehicle. Rick Pike, the General Manager, was easy to work with and very professional. Even though the estimate was higher than the other, I felt more confident about the quality work. I'm a firm believer, you get what you pay for.

Very fast and efficient. Said my car would ready in 4 days, but was ready in 3! Very pleasant and professional , answered all my questions easily. First time I have ever had to do this in all my years of driving. Thanks!

Tried to use their services. But physical access unsafe. No where safe to park. Broken vehicles fill parking lot. And broken vehicles parked in street on grass. Had to park on grass nearly into intersection to the south and walk down the street, no sidewalk. Stood in office, no one there. waited gave up. Waste of time in unsafe conditions. Had one of my Vans repaired there.. it was either eat the gate latch to the farm on the right side, or the 1500 lb horse charging through the gate at my van on the left side lol. They did a really decent repair, match the paint really nicely.. overall I'm pretty impressed.. especially where the repair was because these Vans are sort of a unibody in the rear.. everything from behind the sliding door back is like one piece.. you damage that you may as well write the whole van off... Overall, they did a really good job.. of course this is where my insurance company sent me to also LOL

I can't say enough good things about Gerber Collision & Glass in Punta Gorda. The office team was friendly and clearly communicated how they were going to fix my Kia Soul's boo boo. Once I dropped the car off for service, I received regular updates via text on the status of the repair. We picked the Soul up today and it was beautiful. And, it was even cleaner than when I brought it in! Will definitely recommend the Gerber shop in Punta Gorda for auto body repairs.
