Great place! Greg was friendly and efficient. The best part is my battery was $50 less than it would have been at Walmart. I will never buy a battery anywhere else again.

Rip off. I called told them what size batteries I had they gave me a low price but I needed money so I brought them in anyway and when I got here was offered a quarter of what I was originally told. I was told deep cycle and regular batteries are the same I know that's a lie. Stay away from these conartist scammers. I would of gave them zero stars if my phone would of let me. Rip off scam artistsGave me $35 for 28 batteries after I was told $4 a battery on the phone

Been here multiple time for different vehicles and one battery warranty. I refuse to go anywhere else, I only recommend West Florida Battery. Best service, products and prices.

I am disappointed with how the manager run. I came in asking for a marine battery for trolling motor. He found one that is 24dc just like mine but the one he gave me doesn t have any marine cranking amp or reserve or amperage noted anywhere. I asked him what the numbers are and he said it s the same as what I had. I brought it home and called him up to get the exact number, he gave me the numbers and it s way off and less than what I originally had.

My daughter was just there to get a battery for her 2014 Hyundai! Thank you so much ! You were amazing and very professional and very efficient! Within 5 minutes battery was switched out and installed and her car started right up! Keep up the great work and kindness! Need more businesses like yours!

The service was excellent. The technician hooked up a battery backup to my car so he could change the bad battery out. He was professional and friendly. I was in and out in 2 minutes very incredible experience highly recommend

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! WEST COAST BATTERY IS NOTHING BUT A RIP OFF!!!! I have a 2015 Ford Escape. One day my car would not start so I jumped it and started right up. I went to Auto Zone to see what was the problem. Told me that it's the battery. Thank them and went to my Dealership. They were to busy today to come back tomorrow. I couldn't wait and needed it done now. I went to WCB and told me the same thing. They had time to do it now and let them. Gave me a one year warranty. A few months go by and it happened again. Went back to Auto Zone and told me that it was a bad battery. Went back to WCB they checked it out and said it was fine and that if it happened again to go to my Dealership. Well it happened again.The Dealership went and checked out everything and they said to that's a bad battery. Went back to WCB and they checked the battery and said that it was at 40% and needed a charge. Did not want to go through this again and ask for a refund. Would not do it or a store credit. I will be calling my Congressman next.

I highly recommend their services. Dakota came out today and being its Halloween he saved us from not having our golf cart to take out in our community. Called this morning and he was able to come right away and replaced our batteries in less than 30 mins!!

I got a battery two and a half years ago from them for $49 and it's still running strong great place if you need a battery and don't have $120

These are not brand new batteries I bought one two months ago and now it s bad and they will not warranty it (I paid for 18 months) until I bring a reciept , do you not store proper records of purchases or a phone number doesn t make sense it also doesn t take overnight to charge a battery or see if it is bad place is shabby

Went to lunch with some girlfriends and started my car...dead battery. Got a jumpstart. Some gentlemen in the parking lot recommended you so I drove straight there. Cannot believe the quick service and great price. Thank you so much

These guys are THE BEST! True Gentlemen work here! I called around everywhere and West Florida Battery has the best price by a lot! Most places would have sold me the battery and not replaced it with the condition of my old one. It had corroded all over the connections and was a mess! However, they switch out the battery and cleaned up the connections! My car has never ran better!! AMAZING PLACE, PRICES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I bought a used car that came with an old undersized battery, so I went to WFB to get a newer and more appropriate unit. Not only did they have what I needed at a good price but a few of the employees spent time fixing my car! My battery cables and connectors were old and corroded so these kind men took time out of their day to clean and repair them so I could get home safely! They were strongly recommended by a friend and I will surely recommend them myself. Thanks for all your help!

I've gotten several different batteries from these guys, all of which were good performing units. Their prices aren't stunningly less expensive than the competition, but you will definitely save a few dollars. Also, the guys that work there know their stuff and are quick at what they do. I'm glad they're local to me.

If you have a Lithium cart do NOT bring it here, they do not know how to wire a Lithium cart. I had them install lights, and everything was wired incorrect according to club car that is burned a 1,500 Harness up.They are not a club car dealer or any kind of expert on repair. They also sold me a lithium voltage reducer that was in correct does not work with lithium. They clearly know nothing about lithium carts.

Only place to go for your batteries. Very fast a very competent workers. And very fair price. Bought my battery there over 5 years ago and had it replaced just because it was 5 years old. Never had a problem with the old one so there product is very reliable.

Wow great service.Dakota went above and beyond to all my issues on our ezgo if anyone needs anything you wont regret. don't hesitate to tell you up-front percent recommend them honest people...hard to find in today's world ... thx soo much

Got a battery in october 2019 that started having issues july of 2020. Finally took it in to them in August and they replaced everything quickly and took the time to explain what was wrong to me. Great customer services and great prices. Very happy!

I went there today to swap out 2 batteries that were under a prorated warranty. They came right up to my truck, I told them the problem. Within 2 minutes they had a forklift with a pallet of the batteries I needed. They took the old batteries out of my truck and put the new ones in. The whole transaction took around 5 minutes. Could not ask for better service and a very fair price.Thank you

Business review: West Florida BatteryI've been having issues with truck starting.Went in today and Mike the service tech tested all 4 batteries, cleaned over two dozen connections, load tested each battery individually (the proper way) and replaced the connections along with sealing and coating to avoid corrosion.While I was there Mike handled 3 or 4 carry out sales and 2 installs of Auto batteriesThis business has been here in town since 1976. Same owner (Bob.. 88 years old and he was there too.. and was unloading a skid of batteries )They recently spruced up the garage with a new portico and a blue and white paint scheme.If you need batteries or battery related items (chargers, breakers, safety stuff for car) I cannot recommend them highly enough. Free installation and testing. Brand new batteries start at $49 installed.Keep your business and your money LOCAL!! Batteries are the same or cheaper than auto stores and big box stores... with small town service where the owner not only stands behind the counter, he stands behind the sale.

I make the drive from spring hill whenever I need car and truck batteries or any specialty batteries. Nice employees are always ready to install the battery you need for your car, boat and golf cart. Excellent prices and friendly staff.

Very bad business practices, will not purchase another battery from the West Coast battery. Bought a battery for my car 17 WRX about 2 months ago. Went out one morning to start the car there was not enough power to start car (slow crank then clicking). During inspection found my positive battery terminal was very corroded. Previous to the new battery installed there was no corrosion, also terminal had been cleaned before a new battery was installed. Remove the battery and brought it to West Coast batteries. explained that the battery was no good. They proceeded to tell me there was a drawl in my car. They refused replacement of the battery. Actual concern was positive terminal on the battery was leaking causing corrosion on my battery terminal and due to corrosion there was a drawl on the battery. During our conversation I was treated with disrespect as if I had no knowledge of a 12V system which infuriated me and cause me to act out as well. I was told: If I was to get a new battery it would be dead in less than four days . I ve had a new battery in my car for two weeks with no issues.I bought a 2nd battery, this battery was a AGM deep cycle battery for my trolling motor. But this battery and September 2020. Had the battery for approximately five months. Decided to go fishing over the weekend to my surprise the battery was completely dead after I had charged it and keep a solar maintainer on it. The trolling motor has a deck plug which remains unplug when not in use. Nothing else runs to this battery. Tried recharging the battery with two different chargers. Battery would not take a charge. Took the battery back to West Coast batteries.They explained to me that the battery had been severely discharged. He said it had less than 1v in the battery. Then they proceeded to tell me that they can put it on their charger over the weekend and see if it charges. A battery was offered for the weekend but was stated my battery would most likely not charge. I asked what would happen if the battery does not come back will they replace it? I was told due to the severe discharge it would automatically void the warranty so within five months I would have to replace two batteries that I received from the same place. It was stated to me by the owner, due to the concave walls on the battery you could tell the battery was severely discharged . That is incorrect, this battery sits in a boat in the heat and cold and the vent system malfunctioned and caused a wall become concave. It does not affect the operation of the battery nor is it a sign of a battery being severely discharged. I took the battery Because I needed a core since I had to buy a new battery. As i was picking up the owner/employee said that it charged to 7%. When I went home and put it on my AGM charger it had 0% charge. I am out over $300 in batteries and a course of four months. I know that there s a lot of good reviews with this place but I m simply telling you my experience. They have lost me as a customer due to the terrible experience and customer service. And I love giving recommendations to others.. word of mouth but I can t with this place .. wish you were more honorable

I bought a battery from here and within a week I had a problem with my alternator and went back and they were so nice they gave me a new one. Thanks guys, your awesome. I will definitely recommend

Staff was friendly enough, but they couldn t accept a credit card due to the system being down . After a 30 min drive to buy a battery, I left empty handed. Pretty unacceptable to turn away customers because you can t accept payment, with no alternative.

I have Always used Bob & Gregg at West Florida Battery for years!!! I've known them since Jan 2007 and have always been very satisfied! I Probably have bought many batteries throughout the years always fair & honest!
