Spent a good amount of money having our mini serviced and looked over. Surprised to see warning lights still visible on dash after work was performed to turn these off. I LEFT A message on their phone.. no call back. I was going to have them fix another issue costing 1400$$... Oh well I will not use or recommend them. I thought it strange to pay for parts upfront also...Never ran into that before... One and done, not a great business plan.

Extremely disappointed. I waited for months before writing this review just to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I can wait no longer, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I had called them to ask about how much it would cost to fix a specific thing that was diagnosed to me by 3 other different shops, that was causing a minor oil leak in my Volvo, and they wouldn t give me any estimate over the phone, insisting that I come bring my car in for them to inspect before they could give me an estimate. Like other reviews have said before, this is a set up. They said I must bring the car in and pay the $144 for the inspection for them to verify that this issue is true. They re reasoning is that they want to inspect and make sure that the issue I was complaining about was the cause of the oil leak and that it was not any other thing, and if it some other thing then they would let me know and fix it. After they did the inspection, they called me telling me that the issue I complained about was the true problem, in addition to a bunch of other things. They quoted me for $1800 for both parts and labor, which is no small price, however they kept stressing the fact that there were other components in addition to what I had already told them about, and that they fixed all of that and that after doing so the oil leak would be gone. They were very keen and quick to get my money, for me to have my car ready and everything be ready and done the next day. Next morning I was told that the parts they had ordered didn t come in and that we would have to wait another day, then they call me telling me they started working on the car and won t be able to have it ready till another day. I wait patiently with them, being as kind as I can, and then I receive a call at the end of the day telling me that they were missing a few bolts and would have to order them for Monday and the car will be ready then as Monday comes around I get told of a new issue that they discovered with my oil filter, and that it also would cause another leak if not fixed and that I need to pay an extra $150! I agree to that and wait to pick up my car on Tuesday with my only consolation is the hope that my car would stop leaking oil and that their parts have a warranty on them to give me a peace of mind. Tuesday comes and I pick up my car, and it was in a disgusting state, with chicken wing bones and chocolate wrappers all over my cars floor, in addition to me finding that the airbag light has light up in my car, which wasn t there before. Due to me picking up the car towards the time of closing when I came to tell them the office was closed, so I took my car, with at least the hope that it was fixed. I drive for around 6 miles or so and park my car and as I look under it, it was leaking oil way more and worse than before. I went back to Tony s at the soonest available time, and from that point I noticed an incredibly change in attitude from a nice and respectful to incredibly bland and with absolutely no regard for how frustrated I was nor with the fact that not even 10 miles after I picked up my car, it was way worse than before. I leave the car with them, and get a call from them later that day telling me of new stuff that is broken with my car that happened due to unknown reasons and when asking them how much it would cost I get told You are gonna spend a lot of money on it the only possible explanation to this outcome is one of the following three 1. The thorough inspection wasn t done properly or 2. There were further problems which simply weren t communicated with me, which would also include what happened after I picked my car or 3. During the process of putting back my car back together they broke something. Due to the limit om google reviews that s all I could say, in short for anything other than an oil change DO NOT GO THERE!

Tony worked on my BMW128i this spring, replacing struts and repairing the shifter sport-mode feature. The work was fast and the car ran great right our of the shop. Anyone I talked to was courteous, and the work was completed in the promised time frame. Great spot to get your German car worked on by OEM certified mechanics.

These guys are amazing. They have saved me a ton of money by being honest with what needs replacing and what doesn t. Their oil changes are very fast. I wouldn t change a thing.

I don't really even know what to say about this place. I was referred to them by two people who I trust and have the utmost respect for. That said, they couldn't even get me in for at least 3 weeks, and literally all that I needed was to have my ECU pulled out so it could be shipped somewhere to have some programming removed, and I couldn't get this place to just tell me how much it would cost to have them pull it for me and then put it back in once it was shipped back. They kept telling me that they couldn't give me a price until they assessed the damage. There's no 'damage' for them to assess. I'm not asking for a diagnosis or an opinion. I'm asking for a price on taking a part out, and putting a part back in.I explained this three times and kept getting the same response about assessing damage. It felt like I was being set up to bring my car in so they could find some other thing they 'think' is a problem and try to insist that they needed to fix that... most people, especially women, know where this is going. The God complex mechanics have is almost as bad as the God complex doctors have.Needless to say, I decided not to take my car there and elected instead to post a few ads for someone that could pull the ECU for me, as I understand this is an extremely simple job, "it just plugs in, you just pull it out and then plug it back in." I just don't have tools or other things that might be needed to get to it like ramps or anything.

Brought our 09 BMW in because hard top was making a chime whenever we put top down. We bought car next to Tony's and they recommended him. After having to pay $400 for a part it took 3 weeks to get it in. Once part was in we took car in. He had it for 4 business days and told us to come get it. When we went to get it, the roof did not go down at all. He insisted it was like that when he got it which was not true. We argued and he blamed us. It worked fine long before we brought it in. So $1000 later, we have a nice car but top doesn't work so now the value of that car has dropped drastically. Would NEVER recommend this garage.

I moved to Florida from NYC 6 years ago. One of my biggest dilemas was finding a doctor, lawyer and a mechanic I can trust once I settled in. These 3 relationships are super important to me due to their high level of importance, skill, experience, accountability and trust. I'm still looking for a great doctor, I did find a good lawyer and I was blessed to have found the best mechanic in town! Tony, the owner of Tony's Garage has become that trustworthy and honest master mechanic I was looking for and can trust with my beloved Mercedes-Benz E350. Tony has delivered quality work time and time again no matter what issues my baby may have, from routine maintenance to mind boggling issues, Tony fixed all my baby's problems perfectly. Tony has the experience, skills and knowledge to handle the complexity of German engineering and therefore has earned my trust, respect, but most important of all......my loyalty! I've never had to bring my car back after it was repaired and the cost of repairs is comparable to other master mechanics. The relationship I built over my lifetime in Brooklyn with my former mechanic was a relationship I never thought I could ever replace, boy was I wrong! Tony's Garage is my mechanic shop of choice and I will continue to be a loyal customer. Thank you for everything you have done for me Tony! You're the best!!!

I am beyond grateful to Tony s Garage for the service done on my Volvo. Tony was very honest about what was wrong with my car (timing belt and major oil leak) and the cost of repairs. I had the pleasure in meeting his wife and son which was very pleasant. Great conversation and a way of easing your mind. Thank you so much for your work. You guys are truly a blessing.

Highly recommend Tony's garage! I had been a customer of another repair shop for 13 years (it rhymes with huffy) and unfortunately several reasons left me to find another auto mechanic. I was referred to Tony's Garage by a friend and am so glad I took my car there. They are friendly and reasonably priced. I feel confident that my car is safe on the road taking it to this fantastic family owned local business.

In the interest of transparency - I did not bring my car here, but rather, the most recent oil change on the car was done here when I bought my car. 2005 Land Rover LR3 - last 4 of VIN is 4831.Recently I did my oil on this car, and I'll note that I did it before the recommendation on the Tony's sticker on my windshield. What I found, was that the oil change had seemed to be done by a caveman. Book spec on the drain plug is 18 pound-feet, and 13 on the filter. The oil plug was insanely tight- and when finally removed, witness marks indicating use of an impact gun were apparent on the plug- this car has an aluminum oil pan- a huge no-no for impact guns.Likewise, the oil filter was attached so tightly I had to drive a screwdriver through in multiple locations to gain enough force to break the filter loose- indicating use of hand tools in an application where hand force is more than sufficient. If things like the above matter to you I would keep it in mind when choosing a mechanic to work on your vehicle.I'm not sure if additional work on the vehicle was carried out here, and as such am only discussing the aspects for which I know to be true factually. That being said after performing a full suite of maintenance on the car I found in numerous locations throughout the car- broken clips, misrouted wiring plugs and missing screws indicating poor attention to detail.

Took my car to Tony s and could not have had a better experience. I was sent there for a bad alternator around 5:00 pm and needed my car to drive to Tampa for work the next day so Tony said he would get it done and he did. He had it done after 10:00 pm. Now that s a man of his word. I will highly recommend Tony s Auto Repair to all my family and friends. Great place. Thank you Tony. You are one of a kind.

Took my Mercedes to Tony's garage for an oil change and was very pleased with the service. Waited no longer than an hour and received my car back in clean condition. Reasonably priced and very knowledgeable. I am always hesitant to take my car to Non Mercedes dealerships but I highly recommend Tony as he did the work right and was able to reset my maintenance computer, which most garages can't do. Thank you Tony

A couple years ago I had taken my car there to fix some oil leaks. When I got my car back it still leaked, just not as badly. Oh well.More recently the a/c died and since I have an older car (3000GT) that some shops won t work on, I reluctantly took it back. When I went to pick it up it wouldn t start, at which point I was told I needed a fuel pump, even though Tony claimed he had driven it just that morning. Right. Another expensive repair. Then it turned out I had a blown head gasket. After waiting what seemed like an interminable amount of time it was finally done. I scanned the repair bill, and, after recovering from sticker shock, noticed there was no oil change listed. (The last time I checked oil and coolant were a bad combo.). When I asked Tony if the oil had been changed he said Yes right to my face. No.Imagine my horror when I checked the dipstick and found the oil seriously over full. I drained approximately five quarts of oil or oil/coolant from the oil pan alone. The car takes four quarts total. (I had been letting the level drop since it was nearly due for an oil change so I know it was nothing I did.). Plus, the Fram filter I had installed during the last oil change was still in place. Overfilling can cause serious damage to an engine but I haven t noticed any issues to date, thank goodness. The oil pressure gauge never fluctuated while it was too full, so I guess that s something.Needless to say, I won t be going back.Service: Air conditioning

I was told my brakes would be $1,000. Monday I got a call that prices went up over the weekend and it would be more like $1,200 . When I showed up it was over $1,500. Upset, but glad it s over, I moved on to another shop. Since then, they ve told me it s obvious that my rear rotors were never replaced, front calipers look like they were never replaced, and brakes have been squealing since two weeks after I got the job done. Absolute terrible experience. Considering, pursuing this further.Service: Brakes

I am beyond happy with Tony's garage! I have taken my Camaro SS to 3 different shops with one being Chevy Ferman and no one could diagnose or fix my vehicle. So grateful I came to Tony's Garage, I would highly recommend him!

I usually dont leave bad reviews but in this case felt I should. I have had my car serviced here before and so I thought okay he seems like a good guy. Well I just had my car towed there for some work. Payed $1300 give or take. They called and said my car was ready. I needed a new starter a battery and programming. So I payed for the work went out and my car started up hard as if he put a used or junk starter, and my car has a transmission fault runs worse than it did before and denyed that anything was his fault it was like that. I caught the owner Tony himself in two lies. I was also quoted one price on the phone and given another when I got to the shop. Worse shop I've ever been to.

2000 Mercedes E55 AMG. Monday morning the rear passenger window was stuck open due to a broken regulator. I called my mechanic for our other vehicles and he didn't feel comfortable working on it, so he referred me to Tony. I brought it to Tony Monday afternoon and I had it back Tuesday afternoon! He also did a repair on the AC which needed a temp sensor. Quick professional service at a fair price...what a great find!!!
