I cannot overstate how thankful I am for John. I was in search of an honest, reliable mechanic, and I've found one! He has gone over and above on several occasions to help me with both of my cars, and I have absolute confidence that he will never try to charge me for an unnecessary repair. I would give him 10 stars if I could. If you're searching for an honest mechanic, John is your guy!

John is THA BEST!!! My Dad was a long time customer so I was blessed to inherit him as our family mechanic. He is honest, kind, goes over and above to save his customers money, and works tirelessly to keep our old cars on the road! We'll never go anywhere else and I refer everyone I know to his shop. I used John in the past for a very old van I had. He always went out of his way for me to tell me what was worth fixing and what I could wait on. As a single mom it s really difficult dealing with unexpected car repairs and finances are tight so knowing you have a mechanic you can trust to not take advantage of you and rack up a huge repair bill means the world. John Menze has been my Mechanic since I moved to Florida 19 years ago. I am on my 2nd vehicle with him and he has never overcharged me, he is totally honest with you about whether or not you need something done, he takes you in emergency times and he is always there to help you. His Customer's are always no. 1 priority. Try him, you'll love him!

John has been taking care of my 89 year old mother's car for about 10 years. I've been going to him for about 6. He is both honest and competent, a rare combination in most mechanics.Most mechanics have an attitude of, when in doubt, change it out. John is just the opposite. If something is iffy, and it's not a safety issue, he'll say, let's leave it for now and we'll check it next time.We drive a long way to go there, but it's worth it. I would highly recommend covenant car care.

One of the warmest, kindest, most knowledgeable people I have ever met, just happens to also own an outstanding repair facility. This guy has taken care of me, my mother, my sisters, all of our cars, given free diagnoses, bonus oil changes, tires, pre-purchase inspections.. etc. This guy John has a heart of gold, and will repair your vehicles with care.Highly recommend to anyone!

By far the best mechanic in the New Port Richey, Port Richey, Hudson area. John is incredibly kind and honest and does really great work. He's more of a vehicle consultant than just a mechanic, helping to diagnose your car, letting you know what is urgent, what can wait (and how long), pricing everything out, keeping you updated on the progress of your car and and has, in my experience, delivered the car as promised and on time. Great place to take your car.

I spent thousands of dollars here. The last time I had my car worked on was exactly one year ago, and after nearly $2K, my engine light came on two days later and the car was never the same again. Be aware.

I have been taking cars here since a friend turned me on to this shop about 8 years ago. John is the most honest mechanic I have ever encountered. He tells you when you do not need the repair, and has often adjusted little things for me that were not actual repairs, but took time out from his day where he could have been doing something else, and he refused to let me pay him for his time. He thrives on having an honest business. It is that simple. And he knows his stuff. What more could you ask for when you have a problem with your car? He makes sure he does the job correctly and does not overcharge. I know the difference, I have been the victim of bad service at other shops and dealerships in my life.

Since I've found Covenant Car Care I wouldn't take my care anywhere else. Honest, friendly and always available to help. And will actually tell you if you "don't" need the repair.

I went here when I bought a used car. The first place I went told me I needed 1800 dollars worth of repair. Here, he took the time to show me that everything was working properly- and didn't even charge me! He is honest!!!!! I will never take my car anywhere else.

I spoke with John the owner about fixing my sedan and he was a complete jerk to me and acted too busy to even look at it because he didnt want to and was even smart with me on the phone. Definetly would not recommend to anyone. Dont waste your time.
