Usually I have a pretty good experience coming here but today August 1, 2023. I brought my car in for an oil change. It sat there on the lift for close to an hour, and I watch the employee after the oil was drained out of it standing there, talking with other employees for roughly 15 to 20 minutes showing photos on her phone and even prior to lowering it off the lift she did the same . Perhaps Walmart should Watch their employees lack of work ethics a little closer.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

This is my experience. I go to get my tire plugged because there was a screw in it. The guy pulls the screw out then tells me I need a whole new tire. You would be able to tell that before you take the screw out. I just feel like that is bad practice or the guy has no idea what he is doing. Last time I shop at this location. Groceries or auto. Tragic.

Went to Walmart in Beville (Ghetto Walmart) they have Teenagers running the department. Very unprofessional, non stop cursing acting like they are hanging out at their friends house.called they said come on in & they would do it quick. Sat for 2 hr & 45 min and they still never touched my car. No one was working. Called Walmart on Dunlawton & made an appointment for next morning. Got there & appointment wasn t made. Took 3 hours & price was $20 different from the price quoted. The added extra stuff on there that wasn t previously discussed. This is my 1st & last time. They are definitely repair shop of of mechanic school drop outs.

This is the worst Walmart ever don't waste your time with the auto service.. I scheduled a appointment with my tire size waited 1 hour for them to say this isn't a good tire for your car which you knew my car and tire size all of this could of been avoided

You can't beat their prices for tires. Staff is always changing, so your results may vary in the customer service department, but they're usually pretty friendly.

Everyone had the best customer service and experience. The mechanic was fast to fix and explain the problem to me so I understood. I left very satisfied and will go here for now on if any car needs.

Today 6/5/23 I went here for tires , after Robert ran around a few times finding the tires,Robert is a very helpful nice gentleman. Robert sent me to miss Ann - it was 5:35pm. Miss Ann told me the guys didn t feel like doing any more tire work today I explained to her , it takes about 1/2hr to do this,and there were 2 people / techs walking around in the shop doing nothing.I told her I would never be back. Understand , this place closes at 7pmI left, this didn t sit right with me, I called after I left, spoke with Robert and explained to him why I wasn t there getting tires - he was dead silent / shocked ! He told me he was telling the boss what occured,when the boss gets there in the morning.I left my number,Robert advised me the boss would be calling me tomorrow I ll update this after I speak with the bossHard to believe huh ?Service: Tires

Often when people review businesses it's for the negative. However, I had a great experience at the automotive department. A gentlemen who was referred to by the staff as "grandpa" was very helpful and another young man with glasses indulged my toddler son's excitement about car repairs. Took less than the 15 minutes they said it would. Great staff. They deserve accolades!

On an afternoon that the humidity and heat make everyone slow while quickly melting, the crew accomplished their list of jobs more timely than I expected. The system between initiating an order , then carrying it out to the white canopy area, (interrupting a mechanic that is working), to register your order, is an obvious weak link in the chain of efficiency.

My "check engine" light came on and I am on vacation at Ponce Inlet, from Chapel Hill, NC. And, am 75 years old. Very scary. I pulled into Walmart Auto Care and though auto engine is not their business, the man taking information (Ryan) was so kind to look into my problem and found the solution was to add coolant (something I know nothing about). He found the product I needed and helped till we got the "check engine" light to go off. What an angel!And last year, on my vacation, by the time I had driven to Ponce Inlet from NC, my tires were vibrating so badly I really was scared to keep driving, but pulled up to the same Walmart an there too - The fellows looked into my problem - (however, in this scenario, I had purchased the tires from Walmart and had the lifetime warranty) they found 3 tires had lost their weights on the journey. They balanced them again and all was covered by the insurance.So Very Happy and Impressed with the staff at Walmart here at the Port Orange location and the ones also at home in Siler City and Chapel Hill NC. The estimated 1-1.5 hour wait for one new tire turned into a 3 hour wait and when my car was finished they decided not to let me know. I had to walk up and ask if it had been finished and it had been finished for a half hour. I understand the place was slammed and it was a busy day but customer service should be their #1 priority especially when I had to take 3 hours out of my work day. I should not have to walk up and ask for my car.Service: Tires

The crew member told me it would be about 1hr and 30 mins. My car was ready at about this exact time as estimated. Nice people at Walmart. Will be returning. For tires and oil change. I recommend this Super Walmart. Nice people.

Ordered tires, they said they d be there within 2-3 day so I set the appointment up for a week just to be sure. Well they never came in so they rescheduled me. I took a day off to get them mounted and when I showed up I didn t have the appointment that they set and the tires were wrong. I asked to cancel the order but you can t do it there so I had to call an 800 number that representative kept putting me on hold bc he didn t speak enough English to comprehend what I was saying. Finally after a week and a half I m back to where I started and am going elsewhere for tires.Service: Auto tire replacement

Called the store to order 4 continental pure contact tires from tries on demand they took my information and texted me two days later to notified me that the tires came in. went to the Auto center. got checked in and did a little shopping an hour later the car was finshed the new tires were installed. Fast, professional service.

The whole team at this auto care center is very helpful. My battery died in the parking lot right when they were about to close but they took me in and replaced it for me with no hesitation. Went here to let them replace a van's battery & have my tire's air pressure adjusted. It all went kinda smooth. They definitely weren't experts or show much professionalism, but for what you're getting & at that low price point... there's not much to complain about.

We usually take our van there for the oil changes, buy tires and tire rotations. The lady back behind the counter I believe her name is Susan or it might be Sharon she is always so friendly and helpful.The service is usually top notch. This past time (I have free tire rotation) they charged me for the tire rotation. However, I did not catch it until after I was leaving. So just be careful when you go especially if you have the lifetime tire rotation warranty that they don't accidentally charge you. Also, unless I missed it somewhere WalMart needs to put that there will be an additional charge "if" they have to add more than so many quarts of oil in your vehicle.

This was a better experience than I had imagined! The cashier was friendly, knowledgeable, personable. The prices were great! Really not what I had expected -I had expected to pay much more ended up paying much less including extra items that I had purchased. They were quick! I don't believe I was there an hour! I would definitely go back

We always have a great experience here. The employee team is well-managed and they are very dedicated to doing a great job for their customers. In particular there's one gentleman from Jamaica who is especially helpful in nice and professional every time we deal with him. Overall we would give this facility a 10 if we could highly recommended!

What a joke. I need a tire, 1 single tire and already removed from vehicle, mounted on a rim at 5pm. You close at 7. You tell me No? You can kiss my business good bye. Terrible service.

Ordered two tires and they came in quickly. Today we went in to have them installed. We were the only one in line so our truck went right in. Attendant took off one tire and left. The garage had nobody in it for a half hour before the manager decided to take his feet off of his desk to get someone in there to finish the install. Another gentleman waitied two hours for them to test a battery that usually takes 20 minutes tops. They forgot about him. Meanwhile three customers leave prematurely and they let someone park in front of the bay while she shopped. The whole time the manager said nothing to us paying customers and hid in his office. Right before we left we saw the manager ring himself out while gloating that hes leaving early and he doesn't care. Piss poor management and a dozen of us will never go again.

As of today we are happy with the oil change but are concerned about the wrong oil being placed in our 2013 Sienna Van at the Port Orange Walmart Auto Service Center on 8/21/2021. My wife figured it was wrong when the cashier only charged $22 when it should ve been $50+ for all synthetic oil. She also noticed the receipt said synthetic blend ... Smart girl!!! Hopefully no internal damage occured with this mistake.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Paid for new tire under warranty and they didn't install on car,left the spare on vehicle and new tire with wheel laying in garage...What does "that Do For You"?? New tire and wheel laying in the garage after paying bill,didn't even Install on car...guess they thought I would drive away with my spare ON and didn't need my new tire/wheel...Really??

Jason in the automotive department at Walmart was a superman at helping me in my situation. I bought used rims and tires last weekend for my car that I put on today. All 4 tires looked like new. One tire started splitting on the sidewall and it was about 4pm on a Sunday. Luckily I purchased 2 new tires for my old rims. Jason removed my new tire from my old rim and put it on my new rim very quickly and he was very friendly. An excellent example of an outstanding employee. I left very happy and I will definetly return as a future customer.

These folks are the perfect solution to minor car care issues. if you need complex repairs, probably not the right place. The good thing is they know what they can do. And unlike some shops, they also know what they can't. Always a pleasure to deal with and they will 100% give it to you straight. Best bang for the buck in town.

I am incredibly upset. Exactly one week ago today I got 3 tires on my kia soul replaced because we were heading to West Virginia to evacuate from Hurricane Irma. Today my front passenger tire is flat with 3 holes in it! We are supposed to leave tomorrow and now we have to stay in order to get this tire fixed! Ridiculous!

Just a couple of days ago I went to Walmart to pick up some last-minute things for a road trip that I was getting ready to do and twice at the same visit the people were so helpful. I ran into a lady in the shoe department that was able to help me decide on a product that I needed to buy and when it come time to check out there was a young lady there by the name of Bre and she was so nice and so helpful and just downright polite. People like that, is why I will come back. Thank you so much Bre. I hope to see you again.
