Hamid is the bomb! He s honest, knows his stuff and has a good Team of mechanics to boot. Service was fast and prices always fair! Love these guys!I bought a new BMW and I take it to him for my oil changes! He gave me great advice when it came time to purchase my new vehicle also.You seriously can t go wrong with him especially for the luxury cars!

I came in September to get my rear main seal change just to find out in February once I went to my trusted mechanic I found out they were never change. This place will screw you over the owner sounds convincing and sounds like he cares but obviously it s all a lie. Be careful after you get your job done there go to your reliable mechanic and find out if they did it correctly because obviously they didn t fix mines 1900 dollars later. Find somewhere else to go

I went in today because my check power steering system light went on in my 2012 Honda civic coupe while I was driving. I couldn t turn my wheel without using all my strength and it was terrifying. I was about 5 mins away from the car doctor so I drove my car there without an appointment because I didn t know what else to do and he took care of me within 20 mins even though he is SO BUSY. All it needed was a computer reset thank god. I recommend the car doctor to everyone. The entire staff is so down to earth.

My son needed his car repaired in Port Orange. He dropped his car off the night before left the key in the drop and the service was impeccable. After that these guys were fair. Their prices were great if you want an honest repair shop in and around South Daytona this is the place to go. They ve been there for years. You won t be disappointed. Their customer service is on point if there were more than five stars, they would get it, no picture necessary just excellent service

My first three thoughts of this repair shop are friendly, respectful and very knowledgeable. I'm a gearhead myself and can do many things mechanically with vehicles however I ran into an issue and was recommended The Car Doctor. The entire staff there was friendly and Hamid and Chris are excellent!!! The girls at the front desk do a excellent job as well.

Very honest and trustworthy. Hamid knows what he's doing. It's a very busy shop so making an appointment is necessary for big jobs. I definitely recommend this shop.

I don't recommend going here. They will do part of the job to get your money. Then the job isn't complete when you leave and you call them about it they say you need to pay more for them to do what you already paid them to do. Cheap mechanic tricks. Then when you ask them to do the job you paid them to do they tell you no we can't help.

My family has been getting their cars worked on by Car Doctor since the 80s. They do great work and at very reasonable prices. So on July 29th my cargo van broke down 35 miles from my house in Port Orange, I had it towed here, they looked at it in the morning and told me it needed a new radiator, i knew it was the radiator or hose that went, either way they quoted me a price and said they would have it done by the end of day or first thing the next morning, to my surprise i received a call around 2pm that it was done, could not believe it, and they changed the serpentine belt also, they said it was cracked pretty bad. Great service great prices as an out of towner I completely felt like I was treated very fairly, i will be taking all my vehicles here from now on, glad i found an honest repair shop..

Honest, helpful, very affordable and knows what they are doing.Getting my car fixed as a girl gives me the worst anxiety because mechanics know that the majority of girls don t know anything about cars so they rip us off. But Hamid (the owner) did not rip me off at all. Him and the staff went above and beyond for me trying to find the correct blower motor for my car. Paul who works upfront kept me company the whole time and was so nice to talk to. He told the best stories. Purchased a new (to me) Volvo C70 T5, shipped to me, and wanted to get engine checked because she ran rough. I dropped off my car thinking the worst. Thank God it was only because low grade gas was put in it instead of required premium. They charged me nothing and even though they were very busy they picked me up after they were able to look at it... thank you! I will be using them from now on for all my car service needs. Honest, reliable, going above and beyond... rare for any service much less auto services. The only problem is they are often booked weeks out so if you have an urgent need they may not be able to help you, still, this customer gives mad props for their integrity and excellent service.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

What a great place. I took my mom's car here because someone recommended Hamid, the owner. He looked at the issue, diagnosed it and sent me on my way, no charge! The guy working in the office was incredibly friendly too. Wonderful place.

This place has been by far the best with everything from consideration, customer service, price, quality, and results. I called the Car Doctor on 3/12 at 7:45 am due to an over heating issue I was having. I spoke with Paul and he said he could squeeze me in for that same day. Due to the car over heating I didn't want to cause any further potential damage so I told him I needed it towed. Within an hour the car was picked up from my home for a very affordable fee. By noon Paul had called me and gave me the diagnosis and said it would be done by 4pm. I went to pick up my vehicle after hours (he even stayed later to wait for my husband to pay him and test drive the care). Everything was good, the following morning, the car started to attempt to over heat again. I called the Car Doctor at 8:50am with what was happening. Ahmed was there and he gave me a quick fix to make it to work on time. He advised me that he would get to the bottom of it that same day. He came to my place of work, picked up the vehicle and had it returned to me that same day before I had to head home and pick up my kids. The car has been running good so far. Just the attempt, the concern, the customer service, they go above and beyond. The pricing was fair, the turn around to fix the issue was amazing, and just the personalities and the over all experience. I am very grateful and have already recommended them to multiple people. Thank you so much, my family and I are very grateful.

The Car Doctor is the only shop I will ever visit in this area. They really care about the work they do, they're kind and they reasonably priced. Paul is always a pleasure to talk to and he makes you feel like family. Hummad really knows his stuff and he makes sure he gets everything right. There is another mechanic there, a young man whose name I have not learned yet. Skinny, tall and in his 20's I believe. It's the first time I've deal with him and he was kind and informative, just like the rest of them. When I leave this shop, I'm confident that my problem will be fixed and I feel good about the money I've spent. Go see them. They are amazing.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Hamid has been our car doctor for many years. He treats you like you are his only customer. He's the best mechanic. He is a good man, an honest man & so nice. If you have a problem, he'll drop what he is doing to help you. He has great employees. He's the BEST around.

My 85 year old mom still drives and she has been taking her car there for years. They have always taken good care of her for the best price. She will not take her car anywhere else and for good reason. You willNever get the level of professionalism anywhere else. If you have a problem with your car do not hesitateTo call them.

Disregard any negative reviews. They either a) are being misinformed or b) don't know what they are talking about. Hamid and his shop are just incredible. Im going to summarize my experience but for those who don't want a lengthy read this shop offers extremely fair pricing, kind and professional service and very good work. They are extremely busy due to this but that is to be expected.My experience went like this. I hears a growing knocking sound in my 09 camry. Its had some issues in its day so I was a little worried but it seemed to be driving fine. I called The Car Doctor and the owner answered. I asked him if he could give me a rough estimate on what he would charge to diagnose and gave him some brief info about the issue. His response "Why don't you bring it by and just let me take a quick look at it" (no charge). I arrived and within 15 seconds of my hood up with car running he said it was the water pump. He filled me in on some info. etc and I asked the dreaded question. How much? The owner said $250 parts and labor and my jaw dropped. The water pump requires at least an hour of labor not including test driving etc., if not more. The part depending on make model starts around 40 to 50 bucks. I couldnt say yes fast enough. I arranged a time to drop it off and within a couple hours it was purring like a kitten. Amazing. On top of that, during my time there, I overheard the owner not once but 3 times talking to customers and trying to SAVE THEM MONEY by sourcing refurbished parts or explaining how LESS than what they were quoted elsewhere was needed for a repair. You just don't see that at a mechanic shop anymore. I'm amazed and would recommend this shop to everyone.

The labour qoute is $100/hr. I paid $60 (card) for a ATF fluid change, which I find reasonable and market price. The wait was short, and the staff is professional. Will recommend to my friends and peers about this place especially if they have an older car that needs special attention to.Do be careful parking in and out of the business, doubly if you lack a back-up camera. The lot isn't very large and could be very hard to back out of it once the service is done.

Today I was honored to go to the Car Doctor to have my car taken care of after the fear of being taken by another automobile shop who wanted to charge me almost four times as much as the car doctor was going to charge me. They'll be no one else and I will ever take my car to but the car doctor. They did an excellent job. These are honest hardworking individuals thank you to the staff.Hamid and Paul. After spending close to $10k on my jeep over the span of 1 year with different car repair shops in the area, I was beyond frustrated. My check engine light recently came back on and it was related to a part that was still under warranty. When I went to an associated car repair shop that the initial work was performed at, they wanted to charge me hundreds to diagnose the issue. Not wanting to have a similar experience and spend unnecessary money, I took my Jeep to The Car Doctor who came highly recommended by a friend. Simply put, I have not seen this level of integrity at any other repair shop.The owner went above and beyond to resolve the issue. He operates his business with honesty and values his customers. Needless to say, I highly recommend this shop!

Hamid is a wonderful mechanic. He fixed our car s AC super quick and for less than what was originally quoted. Seriously, how often does a mechanic say that the job was, simpler and required fewer parts than originally expected? I wouldn t take my car anywhere else. He s honest.
