Excellent Job!! A few weeks ago I walked into George's shop and asked for a quote to tint my front two windows to match my factory rear tinted windows. His Quote was very fair. We made a appointment. George did an excellent job and we had a great conversation too. Thank you, my Traverse looks great.Review part 2 the window tint at George put on my Traverse is doing great. Today I took him my second vehicle a Ford Explorer and he did a terrific job with it as well. Five stars is not enough for this tint shop great guy and great family.

Got ceramic tint all around including windshield and sunroof at varying tint levels to help reduce heat and provide some privacy. This is vehicle #3 that George has tinted for me in the last 2 years and its another amazing job. George is consistent with his high quality level of work and prices are reasonable. This time he was running a little behind schedule, but kept me updated, and did not rush to make sure it's done right. George would be 1st on my list to recommend to anyone that asks for auto tinting services in the area.

Don't even bother going anyplace else for the very best in window tinting. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a stress-free experience with George. He did our truck and believe me, the work and quality are flawless. Affordable and fast too. Just the best tinting experience anywhere in Volusia County. In fact, if you are taking a vacation to Daytona Beach or anywhere in the area, call and have your vehicle tinted the right way. Our very highest recommendation. Thank you!

uses tints that are NOT working at all workmanship is good thoAlso I had no clue that the back areas COULD have been tintedBut talked out of tinting themeven tho the factory glass has SOME tintI had no idea that I could have tinted over that and still be legalSwitched companies

On 3/16/2021 I brought my brand new vehicle (which was purchased the day prior) to George Grindstaff for ceramic window tint. It should be noted that I have brought numerous other vehicles to him and even highly recommended him to several friends and family members. After picking up my vehicle, I noticed there were several deep scratches in the plastic trim piece on both the driver and passenger side windows. I addressed this issue with George immediately and he apologized profusely and even showed me the tool that was used that damaged my new car. He admitted to the damage and said he will have it fixed. He seemed to genuinely care at that time. Later that day after consulting with a mechanic, it was brought to my attention that the door panels would need to be removed by an authorized dealership to prevent a voided warranty. I went to two Volkswagen dealerships for an estimate on parts and labor and sent the cheaper invoice to George. Mr, Grindstaff is now refusing to pay for the damage that he acknowledged he caused and when discussed this matter, he proceeded to swear at us and told us he is not paying because he is not spending more money than what he made off of us and to take him to court . Upon further discovery, Mr. Grindstaff has had multiple lawsuits against him for damaging other customers vehicles (reference Volusia County Clerk of Court public records search). Furthermore, I referred to Sunbiz for his business licensing information for my court case, and Mr. Grindstaff is not licensed. Mr. Grindstaff also uses his personal Facebook page to post pictures of inside his customers vehicles if it is not up to his cleanliness standards. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful to customers who are paying you to tint their windows. Mr. Grindstaff claims he is a professional but that is so far from the truth. Professionalism isn't swearing at your customers or taking pictures of inside their vehicles after they trusted you with them. It isn t admitting to damages and later stating to sue me because he refuses to pay labor costs associated with the damages he himself caused. Beware of this guy and save yourself the hassle of dealing with someone totally unprofessional and careless like him. George knew my husbands job from previous encounters and not ONCE did my husband use his job as intimidation in any way. George is not only unprofessional, but a liar as well. Also, adding window tint does not void a warranty and since George is not a certified mechanic, the trim pieces do not pop on , they have to be removed by a bolt inside of the door panel which would have to be removed by a certified professional considering there s an airbag and several sensors in the door. Nice try George. Also, we did notice the damage and you admitted to it. Also have the text messages to prove you in fact did agree to pay. You just wanted your friend Eric to do the work at your shop which is shady. Also, that is false that other auto dealers won t do work for my husband. That is a blatant lie and you should be ashamed of yourself George. You re grasping at straws.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I googled for a place, and found George's. I've driven by a few times and always wanting to support a local business. I called and George was able to fit me in the next morning, great guy and easy to work with. Did a professional job on the windows and the windshield brow. Being new to the area, I inquired among a number of locals as to where they would or did get their tinting done, and either they were past customers of Advanced Auto Tint or the place the got it done they wouldn't recommend (but it wasn't Advanced). I met with George and told him about my 2 cars that needed tinting, and he didn't beat around the bush trying to push different types of tint or services I didn't need. Just good old ceramic tinting with a warranty that will work best in the Florida sun. He worked with me on both price and timing, and when all was said and done, we were very happy with the work he performed, and his personality and communication were great! Is he fast? No. But there is a good reason for that, for speed kills (a tint job), and you don't want to have to go back due to peeling or bubbling because someone rushed a job. If you're in the market, find George and Advanced Auto Tint and compare his prices and these ratings. Thanks George!Service: Vehicle window tinting

George has tinted our cars over the past 20 years and stands by the quality work performed, and the warranty he offers. He has always been kind and patient with answering questions, and never questioned a warranty replacement request. I've used George for window tintsince I was 17 years old at soundcrafters. We have now known each other for over 30 years and has done at least 30 cars of mine as I been through many in younger years. I still use his services to this day as he's real, and honest. It's as simple as dropping it off, and he calls when it's ready. He's very meticulous and checks over a vehicle many times before he let's it go. I have a classic Camaro that I wanted to get the windows tinted on. I brought the car to George for an assessment and he said he d be happy to do the work. I subsequently booked an appointment for late the following week. On the day of the appointment, I dropped the car off in the morning and told George that he was welcome to add pictures of his work on my car to his website. I was told he d have it done by 4:30 and I took an Uber home. Mid afternoon I called for a quick update and to hear if 4:30 was still a good time. He indicated that he was swamped and I said that I couldn t leave the car there overnight (I had a car show to attend). He then told me to come pick my car up and find another tinting shop because he was uncomfortable with doing the work. $40 in Uber fees later (to which he gave an insincere sorry.. ) I picked up my car and asked him why he was uncomfortable . He essentially told me that he was annoyed that I called for an update.I (obviously) can t assess his workmanship but can certainly comment on his callous disregard for customers. I would not recommend George for your tinting needs but if you do decide to choose him don t you DARE call for an update on your car! Otherwise it ll be NO TINT FOR YOU !! Have had five vehicles done here, he guarantees the product for life . 2 years into our most recent vehicle being tinted, the back window bubbles. Wants to act like he is doing us a favor offering replacement for $50+ dollars when it was a lifetime guarantee. 5 vehicles done here - countless people sent to him through recommendations because of how good the service was. Key word - was. Find someone who will honor their guarantee.Update! Compliments of mutual friends, here is how professional George handles a honest review he doesn t like. A quote from his page: I love it a customer sends his wife down because he has a rear window going bad on his car I explain the warranty to her and the cost associated with the service instead of the husband just calling me to talk about why there is a charge associated with his warranty he posts a bad review on google and people wonder why I m passed off all the time go figure .Apparently we have some anger so watch out. It s her car, not mine. You promised as you have every other time you would replace any issues that came up. Not sure what you expected George, she came down in good faith to claim the warranty you offered and you sent her packing. Not sure what difference a phone call could have made. Terrible attitude. If he can t handle this when she was there IN PERSON, I am unsure why he insists someone should have called him again. We called originally and showed up when she was sent way. The image was from 16 months after install. The picture speaks for itself. Didn t realize close to $200 for a compact car was the cheap stuff . No issues with the other windows. This is in no way bashing, the quality up front seems fine, however I think it s extremely important people know how you will handle issues if they arise. Again, multiple other vehicles done here and never before had any issues but the way this was handled was disappointing after our loyalty to this business. All the best to you George.

George tinted my old car when I picked up my new car on Sunday it was in George s garage on Tuesday! I wouldn t have my windows tinted with anyone else...even the dealership!Pros:-He does a GREAT job and stands behind his work.-He is very flexible with time and works FAST.-He has great communication.Cons:-I don t have another car to get tinted by him!Service: Vehicle window tinting

George does an excellent job of not only installing tints on windows, but the man sticks to his word. I had an issue with my passenger side window and George said to bring it back in no problems. George apologized and gladly fixed the window free of charge. George stands behind his quality of work and his word, those are two things that are hard to come by. I would recommend this guy to anyone looking for a great tint job for a great price.

Great, friendly Customer Service. I recently had my Jeep tinted and I was in and out in no time! Very satisfied with the outcome! I would and have recommended them to all my friends! 12/24/19- I am not sure if the lady giving the bad review was having a bad day, or not??? I called George on 12/20 (short notice)inquiring if there was any way to get my son s car in on Christmas Eve, to surprise him on Christmas morning. Although he was already booked for the day he found a way to fit me in! He is great and does an outstanding job!!!

Been using George's tinting 2008 and my partner loyal to the man with the best tinting service Central Florida. Just brought my truck back in to redo the tint from 2012 George did not garage kept. It lasted 9 years with all my abuse. He moved out of New Smyrna to Port Orange and I would follow him out of State, he is just that worth it. They are great and reasonably priced. I needed to get my windshield tinted after 2 rocks busted it. I already had them tint all my windows about a year ago and just stopped in for the windshield tint. 20 minutes later it's done and I'm leaving. I will definitely come back if needed

George is pretty laid back, but does a great job on the windows. I came down from Wisconsin and quickly determined that I really needed to block some of the sunlight coming in. He fit me in quickly, and now my car isn't as hot. (But it IS sexier!) He told me to come back if I have any problems with any of the tint.
