Refused to recycle old batteries. Offered to charge me per pound to take them. Employee was very helpful, but it was his boss who made this poor decision. Typical profiteer who cares more about short term profits than saving the environment and retaining customers by doing them a favor that might cost you a few bucks. Let me know if you change your mind.

I bought a new car battery and had them install it. Glenda was great and helped me figure out what the problem was. Mitch helped me buy the right battery and installed it in the midday heat of the Florida sun. They did a great job and were very helpful and polite. I ll definitely be coming back.

Glenda was very helpful in getting the battery I was looking for and informed me of other products that Batteries plus carries that I didn't know about. I would suggest if you need any type of battery I would go see her.

I have been in this store twice and the same staff has been there both times. Two folks have helped me and advised me as to what might work better for my lighting situation. I listened to Parker and did what he said and man was he right! The light they sold me works fantastic and in fact, I went back to buy another one. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable about lighting for sure and my guess is that they have the answers for batteries as well. Anyway, very happy with this place;-) UPDATE 2024: Had a fantastic experience with Glenda and one of her teammates yesterday. They helped us with RV batteries which are the same as golf cart batteries. They have an amazing selection ready to go. If you need RV or golf cart batteries (GC-2) for example, this is the place to go for friendly, fast service and more. Highly recommended and thank you!

Purchased the X2Power battery for my 2019 Subaru Forester touring model. In this particular Batteries Plus store in Port Orange, FL found the salesperson "Mitch" and the manager "Glenda" who did the installation on my vehicle to be two outstanding employees of the Batteries Plus chain of stores. Would highly recommend this store to anyone.

iPad battery replacement. I was told it would be done in 2-3 days. It took a week, which was fine, however, no updates were offered, I had to call and ask what the delay was. Fast forward, battery replaced and working great, however, my daughters screen is damaged.Edit: slight rough patch with one employee after this review but Glenda and Tobias were both really helpful, understanding, and kind people. They replaced the damaged part in my daughters iPad and did an amazing job keeping me updated.

Horrible batteries.... Cant even get a year out of them. Junk. Trying to get them to replace under warranty is impossible... One excuse after another. Buyers beware. Find it hard to believe they have positive feedback. Corporate must be buying them

Do they have a good selection of batteries? Yes. Are you going to pay dearly for them? Resounding yes.If you can wait the extra day, order from Amazon for extensive savings compared to their prices. Over $4 for a button battery, relatively popular size, got a 10 pack from Amazon for $12. But if you need something RIGHT NOW and don't have a choice, they probably have it.

It's hard to buy anything in a store when the 1 person working treats you like he you interrupted him sleeping... In his bed at home. I can give leeway as the nature of the business is people with technical skills may also have to be customer service oriented and some people are only good at 1 thing but I suggest charm school for this peach because he was very obviously rude and didn't want me going in to look around. This was after rudely big being able to assist with a replacement car keyAugust 2nd 6pm.

This place is trash. Truck Battery is 6 months old and died and left me stranded. They won't cover it under the warranty. Also they never have batteries in stock when needed. This store is trash

I have probably purchased seven or eight key fob batteries (For multiple cars) since the store opened years ago. Today I popped in with my wife s key fob and within a matter of minutes, a nice young man named Tobias had tested the battery and replaced it. He offered me options and rang me up quickly. Good experience!

Please do NOT shop here. They are refusing to replace a motorcycle battery under warranty that is clearly bad and tested bad. Completely unprofessional!!! Having to go through this and fight for warranty is unacceptable. Stay away!!

I had batteries replaced in two MacBook Pro laptops. The batteries were extremely bloated, making the repair very difficult and possibly dangerous, since li-ion batteries can explode or catch fire when bloated. With much difficulty, Mash'al, the assistant manager, got the batteries replaced and did an excellent job. The price was very reasonable as well, so I'm a very happy camper, and my laptops are working great now. All the guys at the Port Orange store I interacted with really strived to provide excellent customer service, and they certainly did for me. I'll definitely do business with them again.

George Farrell, Store Mgr at the Port Orange, Fl location was simply amazing. Due to the floods in Florida, we were desperate to find a battery for a push start generator. We called the store but George said they were out and checked the other location without success. He went up above and beyond and called us later to say they had located one they thought would work. It did!! He is a great and kind human being and I am so ever grateful for his kindess.

Purchased a battery on 7/18. It died over the weekend. I came in, no receipt, no fuss, no muss no charge. In/out 10 mins. I had it back in my car in no time. Excellent customer service. If you ever need a battery, go there. The excellent customer service is what is bringing me back for a new key fob. Even received a 50% off programming fee. Thank you. I was in the Port Orange store on Tuesday 2/9 at about 5pm.

Buying a car battery from you was quick, easy and painless. You were also less expensive for a comparable battery from several auto supply houses. I ordered and paid on line, then drove to your store (minutes from me) and they installed my battery for free! No waiting! It was ready sitting there when I arrived. It took less than 10 minutes for them to install for me.

I went in to have batteries replaced in 2 watches. The man who waited on me was very professional and I had no problem with the watches. However, if you are concerned about Covid you should know even though there is a sign on the door entrance asking for customers to wear a mask, 2 customers came in while I was there without masks and nothing was said. The man who waited on me had on a mask. The other person in the store did not wear a mask, even when he came out from behind the plastic screen in the store several times. I will not go back until my vaccine is completed.

I ordered a golf cart battery and the system stated it was in stock. The store called me to say they do not have it but will get it the next day. I was called the next day and told it was in stock and ready. I went to the store and it was a completely different battery brand. Very upset it was switched and I was never told. No offer to get what I actually ordered and paid for. I turned down the purchase at another retailer because batteries plus assured me they had the item I ordered ready. So they did not have what I ordered and the other retailer sold the one they had so I am stuck with no battery. No offer to get me what I actually ordered. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

I ordered a battery replacement on line yesterday morning and received a confirmation of today's 8:30 appointment. I scheduled my day so that I could make this appointment. I arrived a little before 8:30 today and I was told that my order wan not confirmed even though I handed him the email showing the confirmation. He said the truck with the requested battery would not arrive until the afternoon. He asked if I could return later today or tomorrow. I canceled the order. Apparently they don't stock batteries at Batteries Plus. Go figure.

Was in Sunday to have screen fixed on iPhone. The girl, Nicole was very nice and helpful as was the gentleman there. After a while, they were able to fix my screen, but home button doesn't work. They had to order a part which came in today. I go there today and tel the gentleman there, his name is Chris, I believe that my home button doesn't work and battery is draining extremely fast. Of course his response is that nothing they did would cause that. So he wants me to leave my phone for 2 hours. I explain to him that I was there for 3 hours on Sunday and the only reason I'm back is because of an issue that his store caused. I explained that I work from my phone and that it is very important that I get it done real quick. I know it doesn't take more than 20 mins.. he then gets very rude and says I can come back at 6 and maybe he can do it in a hour. I will more than likely spend 1000 on a new phone before I step foot back on there to get anything fixed. Once again, the girl and guy there on Sunday were nice and helpful. I didn't even care that I paid for something that ended up causing more issues. But today. With that extreme unprofessional behavior, I cannot rate this place over 1 star. BUYER BEWARE

Nicole, is the best. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Our car battery died and she took care of us right away. She installed a new battery in our vehicle. We appreciate all her help. She is an exceptional young lady that cares about her customers. We need more people like Nicole in this ever changing crazy world.

Well was there last year and had a replacement battery for my phone. But this year I thought well I go to Best Buy! That was my mistake! Called and spoke with a rep and next day new battery within a couple hours. It s doing great! So that s why I will NEVER go back to Best Buy and will continue going and recommending Batteries + more!

WARNINGBrought my iPhone 6+ in to have the battery replaced. While changing the battery they cracked my glass screen saver and said it happens because they have to push down hard to close the back of the phone. They never offered to fix the cracked screen. When I got home, I noticed the battery was dying faster then the one I had initially and my phone was very hot to the touch. Called the store and was told to bring the phone back. Had to inconveniently drive back to the store to again have them put another new battery in. I argued with them to replace the glass screen saver which they finally agreed to replace (they were the ones who cracked it) but the people who work there are very rude.The next day I realized I could not hear through the phone on a phone call unless I used speaker phone. The ear speaker is suddenly NOT working. I also realized my front camera was broken. I get a black screen when I try to use it! I called the store to talk to the manager George who told me I couldn't have a refund but I could drive back again (3rd time) to the store and have the phone looked at to see why it wasn't working. To be honest, I was afraid to let them touch my phone again... in the two times they had my phone, they cracked the screen, broke the speaker to listen to a phone call, and broke the front camera. The phone was in perfect condition (except for needing a new battery) until they "fixed" it! Horrible repairs, horrible customer service! I would not let anyone there touch my expensive phone. They have no guarantees except to see if they can fix what they broke! I will have to dispute the charge for the new battery with my credit card company, but I am stuck with a $850 broken phone. I will never go back here again!

Easy to miss. Pricey and limited services. They don't rebuild lithium batteries which deeply limits newer items since most are lithium these days. The retail items are terribly expensive and expect a very long wait if there is anyone else in the store. The only battery I've had rebuilt caught fire inside the unit once reinstalled. A $35 rebuild burned up a $2000 unit, they did however refund the $35 which is the only reason I rated 2 stars instead of 1 star.

Great!! Attendant suggested lifetime watch battery purchase and so I did 4 of my best watches. Also found an 18 pack of AAA alkaline batteries on sale for half off. Speedy service had me out in no time. And, YES!!! I noticed the store display of windshield wipers.... I'll be back soon!!
