this place is not good and not honest. They gave me my car back with no air in all the tires, a new scratch on the hood and the alignment not done (steering wheel crooked) even though they claimed the car ran perfect lied about it and told me they wanted the car back to do a better job (photos below are from the job completed) that was 3 weeks ago and haven t heard anything since.

Great job with my car. Staff is very personable and they stuck the schedule. They definitely took care of my car. Thanks for the good experience in a bad situation. Would and will use them again.

He is a thief. He doesn t complete work. Stole my money. Tommy is a repetitive liar. Will make up a new excuse every time. Says they are waiting on parts they never ordered. Don t trust them

Worst business ever! As a professional I am used to honest and committed people. I have been told 5 months ago my car will be fixed in 2-3 weeks and I just received it with few scoffes and scratch on a back door. When I told the manager about it and that this didn t exist when I delivered my car to them, he said : proof it . These people need to know first how to communicate with customers and learn more customer service problem solving and accountability. The edges of the bumper, the front lights and hood are not aligned. Seems like previous reviews from google are true especially this last period. Knowing that this manager is being a repetitive liar during these last 5 months , I had to get insurance involved in 3 way calls. Also lying about parts availability repetitively, I went to him and asked him to call the vendor in front of me although that manager sweared he calls him all the time and he didn t get the parts. Finally he called vendor and put him on speaker in front of me that same visit I came and guess what?! big surprise parts are available and they are coming. Moreover, not having my car put me in a lot of trouble in my job especially that I drive long miles to my job. The manager was laughing when I told him about this after begging to get my car and he was laughing sarcastically which is very insensitive , very condescending and demeaning to people s problems. The manager also would retaliate and get back at you if you complained or followed legitimate channels which should NEVER happen. Stay away from this place! It is a total joke. No common sense there!

This guy stole $800 from my mother, aged 77 and physically challenged, on social security. Told her he could fix her wheelchair van and never did. Wont refund the money. Rude when called. What a shady, cruel thing to do. Think twice about this business .

Tommy Valera is a straight pos. He's a scammer and a liar and I've watched him rip people off and straight take advantage of ANYBODY HE CAN!!!!! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! I WAS AN EMPLOYEE OF HIS AND WAS FIRED FOR COMFRONTING HIM ON HIS HEARTLESS AND MOST SCANDALOUS WORK ETHIC!!!! HE DOESN'T EVEN TAKE PROPER CARE OF HIS OWN HANDICAP CHILDREN! HE WILL LIE AND SCAM ANYBODY THAT HE CAN... DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Had a hole in my hood due to Hurricane Ian. West Coast got me in right at my appointment time instead of delaying like other places and did an EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT job on our 2018 Chevy Colorado. Had my truck for ten weeks to replace the tailgate and the box on my 2500HD Silverado. They removed the fifth wheel and didn t replace it because I feel they don t know how to install it. My tail lights don t work properly, the backup camera doesn t work, they didn t replace my toolbox in the bed. There was always an answer when I questioned them which didn t make any sense. Insurance paid them to replace the hitch but they didn t follow through. This business was sold and under new management. Don t believe the old reviews. I would give them minus ten if I could. If I could give them a "0" I would. I went to this shop based on great reviews. My car was backed into while parked and covered by the other persons insurance. The insurance company had a terrible time getting ahold of the shop to start. They would never answer the phone. They had my car for about 6 weeks for a door repair and blending job basically, I heard so many excuses, door came in wrong color, glass came in broken 3 times, parts discontinued etc. Mean while I came out of pocket for a rental, which insurance finally paid for no thanks to the shop. The first manager was so unprofessional and during my experience he was replaced or quit not sure.. I finally received the car without a working window, then had to set up appointment to return to fix and order another part, meanwhile my broken side mirror was completely ignored and not replaced. I made several complaints and still no results, meanwhile I check over invoice and insurance paid over $300 for a new side mirror. This shop was a complete headache, not to mention the paint job was not matched and has several bubbles. Disgusted insurance paid $2,600. And I now hate my car!Service: Body & Trim

Took my 2003 pickup truck in for sun damaged paint on the hood and roof. Kyle and crew did an excellent job matching the paint and blending it in with the rest of the truck. The truck looks like new again and was done at a fair price. Would not hesitate to go back to Kyle and West Coast Auto Body again for any work.Service: PaintingService: Painting

This business did an excellent paint job on our Cadillac. They painted the hood, roof and trunk lid in a few days. The new paint matched perfectly. They even helped with a small dent on driver's door. The work was also reasonably priced.

West Coast Auto Body Shop is where you should be taking your cars. The owner, Kyle, is friendly, extremely knowledgeable and fair. He won't rip you off as so many others do and answers your calls very promptly. I can't recommend him enough. Also,he takes the time to answer your questions in a patient, respectful manner. Five !Keep up the great work.

I would highly recommend West Coast Auto Body Shop to everyone.They are very professional, courteous and prompt. They are highly experienced and get the job done right!! Very fair, honest and upfront on everything. I had them do my truck about a month ago and my daughters car a little over a year ago.Truck was hit head on the car was rear ended. Wow you would never know either one was ever in an accident!! Body work and paint are perfect. So if you want the best call West Coast Auto Body in Port Charlotte Fl. They are awesome!!!

A 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with some sun blasted paint on the hood and elsewhere. Kyle understood I was on a budget and just needed damage control, not a full body restore at this time. The color match on the hood is beautiful. The vehicle was ready for pickup a day sooner than I expected. The price paid was very reasonable. His crew are very polite and helpful. I'm a happy camper. West Coast Auto Body will be my recommended paint shop.

Kyle is fantastic and extremely fair. Does auto body repair and normal maintenance. He spent an hour on my car last time I was in and discovered that all that was wrong was a busted 20 dollar sensor. All he charged me was the 20 dollar sensor. He will tell you whats wrong without charging you a dime.
