Veterans Auto is the place you want to take your vehicle If you want the best job that can be done. I'm a single woman who a lot of places have taken advantage of in various ways. Mike has not only NEVER taken advantage of me, but he's gone out of his way to do the best job possible within the financial limitations that I have. I have referred several people to him and have heard nothing but good things coming back from them. I can't say enough great things about him. A good mechanic is extremely hard to find and I'm grateful that I found Mike at Veterans Auto repair!

Unbelievably honest. Really. Each time we take our car in for repairs, I am totally blown away. We took our 2014 Buick Verano in because of a coolant leak and were told we needed a water pump, $605.00 total. Disappointing about the repair, but the price was reasonable. When we picked the car up, we were told we actually didn't need a water pump, only an O ring. Total cost? $63.00. We would never have know whether the water pump was replaced or not. This is an honest young man.

I have used Veterans Auto Repair to service my vehicles for almost 10 years. There are 113 auto repair shops closer to my home than Veterans and I drive past every one of them every time I need my vehicles serviced because there are none better and more honest than Mike and his team.

I brought my car in because the dealer told me I needed a new alternator. I had friends who got new alternators at Veterans Auto and been happy with their service. Turns out my alternator is fine. They could have put a new alternator in and I wouldn't have known any better. I got the oil change I needed (at a great price!), and I was good to go. I saved hundreds of dollars and trust coming back to Veterans Auto for any service needs in the future.

I needed an oil change for my Jetta back in January and was referred here by my brother - Most other mechanics I called were going to charge me an arm and a leg for an oil change due to my car being a VW. Not Mike! The cost was more than fair and everyone was as friendly as can be. I absolutely recommend Veterans Auto!

Awesome, knowledgeable and honest. Took my Cadillac in for a brake problem, Troy looked at it and said the brake pads are fine but I needed new rotors. Within 45 minutes it was done and the low price shocked me. I will go there for all my car repairs.

Absolutely a great place for your vehicles needs. I trust taking my truck here and having it worked on by Mike and his crew. I know when i go there im not going to be fed a bunch of bs about things i dont need. Trustworthy, fast and friendly, what more can ya ask for?

The guys at Veterans Auto Repair are awesome. They have done work on my truck several times in the past 6 years and their work is always excellent. If you need a repair to your car or truck don't hesitate one minute. Bring it in to them.

These guys did a great job with my car. I had already had 2 people work on this same problem and the car still wasn't running right. Veterans auto figured it out quick! My car hasn't run this good in months. I wish I had brought it to them first! Next time I will. 1 week after I wrote this, the same check engine light came back on. I tried repeatedly to call them, but no one would answer the phone. I left message after message and they would not call me back. So I guess they are not so great as I first thought

Best ! And the only place you should bring your vehicle in Charlotte, Sarasota, and Lee County.Troy, owner/ founder: The most honest, caring person I was blessed to know in my life. Kathleen, Mike, Bryan the whole crew was a family born when they were brought together.We have 18+ commercial/ personal vehicles when it comes to the commercial vehicles they get them in and out so the guys are back on the road within a day they make it so easy for drop offs and pick ups with our commercial vehicles it is a blessing to do business with them same with our personal vehicles they are always honest. My son wanted something replaced on his vehicle had money in his hand and was told there is nothing wrong with it it does not need to be replaced it simply needed greased! I already know anybody else would have replaced them he is 16 years old and would have been taken advantage of. Thank you to all of you guys for everything you do for everybody

Worst place I've ever been. Troy had my vehicle for just over 2 months due to his screw ups and lack of professionalism. Went in for a head gasket replacement, came out with a bad knock. Then he told me to drive it for awhile so the rings could seat themselves and the knock would go away...what a joke. Ended up blowing the motor. They broke the front grill off the hood from using it as a prop to lean against when hood was up, tried gluing it on, but it fell off and they ran it over on a test run only to glue it on again and not tell me about it. Floor mats and carpet full of grease as well as a couple spots on the seat. Engine bay was a mess and missing plastic dress covers, windshield wiper assembly wasn't put back together right after they took it apart for access to the motor for rear cylinder head. What was supposed to be 2 weeks turned into 2 months. 2 months of paying for a rental out of pocket with no help from Troy, and thousands lost after I got a car with a bad knock that wouldn't stay running when they were done. Worse than back yard mechanics.

I called and spoke with Mike yesterday about a horrible experience I had and he told me to come in today for him or his father Brian to look at my truck. Brian came out and checked it over but more so put my mind and heart at ease. Really and truly, thank you Veterans Auto you guys really care!

The service was quick and efficient. They diagnosed and resolved the issue immediately and with low cost. I was very happy about that. I did have to leave the office as it smells very strongly of cigarettes which triggered my asthma pretty badly.

Excellent service at this auto repair shop. I had my rear brakes and rotors done on my 2014 Ford Edge. Fair pricing and honest repair shop. I would use them again!

Awesome experience with my Honda CRV. Dealership told me I needed front brakes and lug nuts were stripped, est $450 repair. Not only did Veterans say my lugs were not stripped, but my brake pads were good for another 10-15,000 miles and rotated my tires free of charge. They have my business from now on and anyone else I can refer to them, thank you!

Love this place! Honest and very knowledgeable. I had a starter issue that was a bad connection to battery and only cost $20...They could have lied and charged me for a new starter but didn't. I live in sarasota now and will drive the 50 minutes to keep going there.

Troy is a one in a million guy, a real diamond. He looks after my car and doesn't charge an arm and a leg, neither does he try to rip you off with extras. He gives you the best quote for your fix and gets you back on the road asap.I'd recommend him to anyone.2008 Chevy Trailblazer.
