I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Tires Plus recently. Initially, I went in for a simple tire rotation, but things quickly went downhill. During the inspection, they found two nails in one of my tires, which they claimed needed replacement. Reluctant but in need of immediate assistance due to a failing battery, I agreed to their recommendation. However, the issue didn't end there. Despite paying a hefty sum for various repairs, including battery replacement, the work was incomplete. The promised replacement of battery cables was neglected, leading to another breakdown just days later. Furthermore, I discovered discrepancies in the maintenance performed on my vehicle, including a screw used to keep the terminals tight to the battery post. When I inquired about this, Oscar took offense and accused me of slander/ being unprofessional The most frustrating part was the lack of accountability from the staff, particularly Oscar. Instead of owning up to their mistakes and providing a solution, he deflected blame and offered no assistance besides referring me to the battery manufacturer. Overall, I'm deeply disappointed with the level of service and professionalism at Tires Plus. Spending close to $700 for unresolved issues is unacceptable. I urge potential customers to think twice before entrusting their vehicles to this establishment. I can't begin to understand the negative reviews, this shop made me feel right at home. Rock solid and timely service.Oscar was up front and completely clear and concise in all communication about the things going on with my vehicle and let me pick the things I wanted them to fix.They repaired my AC unit, which I knew had some problems, in less than one day. Oscar worked hard to find the right part and have it delivered quickly and I received a great itemized description of the services they recommended after an inspection of my vehicle.The mechanics looked like they were piled up with work, a shop doing brisk business like that must be doing something right. :)Thank you Oscar and all the folks at Tires Plus! You earned my repeat business.

Always receive excellent service from the Port Charlotte Tires Plus team. Oscar, Massimo and Craig are always extremely helpful as well as very knowledgeable in their position. They are my go to shop, and in fact, I am going there today! I have never been turned away for a service (and this store ALWAYS appears to be busy!) and the turn time is typically better than expected! While prices are sometimes a little steep (IMO), the service I receive is top notch! Excellent team at the PC store and highly recommended.

My last experience here was very very horrible the boss I m assuming he s the owner or whatever was very rude and disgusting and very nasty when speaking with me. told me that my front two tires were really really bad and needed to be changed. When I try to tell him that I just got New tires not even a year ago and wanted to understand why my tires would have gotten so bad so fast he began walking away from me and not wanting to know answer my question yes obviously when someone is walking away from you when you re trying to ask a question you get a bit irritated. I pointed out her walking away from me as a bit rude when someone is trying to explain something, all the while I was trying to show him the proof that I just recently got my tires done and also while trying to understand why my tires would have gotten so bad so fast. Very rude very nasty just wouldn t answer any questions, And as a paying customer should be allowed to ask whatever question needs to be asked. if you can t answer the question then find somebody who can answer the question but as a female coming here who don t know much about cars I would suggest do not go to tires plus the one on 3543 Tamiami Trail I would not suggest any female coming here alone they will take advantage of you!!!!

Charged me $2k to fix something simple on my A/C and I didn't know better. Years later in the Venice store they tried to charge me $3k for 2 front brakes....it's this dirty blonde dude working the desk in the Venice area too. Looks like he does drugs. NEVER go to tiresplus unless you like wasting money. Went down the road and it was $500-$600 to fix the brakes. I repeat take your money elsewhere.

I came into to inquire on tire rotation and headlamp. They appeared busy, but they took me right in. Got my headlight changed & will be back to get tires and oil change for sure since they also are dog friendly and allowed my big dogs in the AC while I waited. I just moved here. They are my new place!

They will rip you off any way they can !! Said my serpentine belt was ready to go. Tookto 2 other places not a thing wrong with it at all. My daughter just went there and same thing different problem. Terrible people !!!

Best guys. Been going there for years. Always helpful never any problems. Drive from Fort Myers to Port Charlotte rather than try someone else closer.

They were very kind. I called and made an appointment that morning. They were able to get me in, in the afternoon. When I arrived I was greeted and helped right away. Did everything on my end i needed to and went to the sitting area. 30 minutes or so go by & I am notified their lift can t lift my truck they did however recommend Mr Front end who was able to get me in the next day.

Worse experience ever! Had my car for 4 days. Call me it's ready day 5. Only needed two tires on it. Pick it up its knocking loudly. He figures out they put back tire on the front. Two different tires my car takes. The larger tire was knocking on my strut. Pick it up at 5 pm on 5. Day 6 back new tire flat! He tells me oh I guess your rim is bent! Who puts a new tire on a bent rim and sends you on your way. Spare yourself the aggravation

The customer service was exceptional. Oscar the manager was patient with my warranty claim and went above and beyond. Every staff member that I had contact with willing to help. They were extremely busy, but handled the stress of it very well. I will always go back to them for all my car service needs. I booked an appointment online and after 4 hours I called to see if time was still available. I was told that there is an issue with online booking so we went ahead and set an appointment for the following day. When I arrived there was no appointment booked and the person whom I was talking with made me feel as though it was my fault. However I was told it would take about an hour and my car was ready in 40 minutes. The person who checked me out was very professional and courteous.

Went to tires plus on tamiami in Port Charlotte for a 12pm oil change appointment. Upon arrival a car swings in full speed next to us parking in a marked DO NOT PARK spot and runs into the shop only to find out later that they were just trying to get in front of us in line. Staff watched and was laughing. No big deal since we had an appointment. They took all of their information and said it would be about 1hr 45 minutes. We then walked up, told them we had an appointment booked for noon through caradvise and showed him our fleet ID# which is how caradvise explained we needed to do it. The manager started asking us for all our information which caradvise has and gives to them so we don't have to. We explained to him again that we had a 12 pm appointment, still ignored and kept asking questions. I then asked him if he had any full synthetic high mileage oil since that is what I use when I change the oil. He looked baffled at first and then said "I have some high mileage blend that has been sitting around for a while and I need to get rid of." As enticing as that sounds, I said no thanks. He then takes the keys and asks for a number to call when it's done. I told him we would wait there since it was just an oil change. He then says it would be 2 1/2 hours before he could get it in(putting us behind the walk in before us) then about 45 minutes to do the service. I explained AGAIN we have a 12pm appointment, that we use our car for work and can't be off the road that long. He laughed and said that doesn't mean anything, gave a comparison of making a dr's appointment and said when you go to the dr's you have to wait. Maybe that is true for some, I go to millennium and wait five to 10 minutes tops but not over 3 hrs. I told him that and he said I must be a very lucky person. I told him you must be a very unlucky person if that happens to you. I told him to cancel the appointment and walked out. Completely unprofessional and bad business from start to finish. If you're charging close to $100 for an oil change that uses bulk oil and generic filters then you should have the service to justify it. NEVER going back. PLENTY of others out there that would appreciate my money and honor their appointments.

I'm not sure why these guys have such terrible reviews. I've gone to them several times over the years and they've always taken care of us. This last one was soooo expensive eek! But did a great job, my daughter said the car is driving very well no issues. They are respectful and polite and do good work in a timely manner.

Lame, Don't bother making an appointment, I stopped by to make one at 8am first of the day & was told u still have to wait for a bay to open, I guess they don't know the concept of appointments

I brought my truck in at around 10:30 and requested that they mount and balance 4 new tires, and check a TPMS error that I had. I was told the truck would be done by around 1. At 1:45 i figured it wasn't "around 1" anymore but closer to "around 2". I called and was asked to hold. I did, for 10 minutes and then called again on another phone will still on hold for the first call. They picked up and had a conversation with me, while I was still on hold from my first call! I was then told they had not even moved my truck from where I parked it. I told them to cancel the job, I would pick my truck up. I was given a ride to their shop. Once I got there I was in line behind someone that decided to pay their over $1000 in 20s, 5s and 1 dollar bills. [Not the shop's fault, I understand] However, a call came in, and was put on hold. Several minutes later, another call came in and that was attended to, while the 1st person was still on hold [sound familiar?] As it was my turn at the counter I suggested that he pick up the on hold call first. He declined and shortly after the on hold call hung up. [client 1 lost] I ask for my keys back and left. [client 2 lost] That is 2 clients lost in 5 minutes. I guess they don't need our business. Why bother making an appointment if your not going to honor it. Got there right at appointment time and was told it would be 2 hours before my vehicle would even be looked at. Had an appointment for 3:00 for an alignment. At 3:55 I left since they had not done anything yet. What's the point of making an appointment? Waste of my time! Also I was there because I just had my tires rotated at Sam's yesterday and they showed me how bad they were worn already from 'bad alignment' Tires plus last aligned them a couple months ago.

I picked up my car found grease on my wheels, door Handel, inside grease on my wheel door panels. I said something to the manger. He told me they are not a dealer shop. Then told me never to come back. If you have a nice car don't go there they are disrespectful

I called befor going out to shop and the store manager who I spoke to quoted me $56 dollars plus $21 for the TPMS for just swapping out my tires that I brought in myself and he can get it done while i wait. Once I got to the shop which was a 45 minute drive the price became $256 dollars so I say what the heck and he says I might have to leave the suv overnight. I honestly wouldn't mind paying double the 256 for my benz if he was just honest about it. because of this one experience. Fix this so you dont lose more business to the

Dropped a trailer tire off later in the afternoon to have a new tire put on. Manager told me that they would get me in and call me when it was complete. 7:05 PM I realized I hadn t received a call and drove over. At 7:15 the last employee was leaving, and I explain the situation he shrugged his shoulders and drove off. I m leaving town at 5:30 AM and now I have no spare tire. Very disappointing would not recommend.Service: Tires

Very sneaky on hidden charges. And they fluctuate on product prices. Went to get a tire replaced less than 3 weeks ago. Took the tire off for them and everything. Came back to get the other tire swapped and magically the price went up by almost double. Not to include another "you need this" product charge. Mind you. I just wanted a simple tire. No mounting. No road hazard protection. Nothing extra. Just simple tire of the same make and model as the last one. Not sure what's going on. Possible management change or something. But be weary of hidden fees. Make sure you get an itemized list of exactly what they will charge you like I did. That way you can back out if you aren't financially prepared. Once they touch your vehicle or tire. They can charge you whatever they want.
