Chris and his team of mechanics are awesome. They have gotten my 2014 Charger back to his Original self. Just like I bought it when he came off the lot. He's the only one I trust other than the dealership.

I have only used Chris and his shop. I have always received excellent work on whatever needs to be repaired. Chris has been my mechanic way before he opened his shop "RaceReady".I Will never go anywhere else for service.

The only place I'd trust to bring my car. Chris is very honest and the staff is very friendly. I know my car is getting the best service while it's there. It's a one stop car shop for me.

I am 85years old and I have never been to a more better business in my life .The people that work there are the best .One of them even told me she was pregnant and her son is due on her birthday May 5th.Who else would say that. Go A&E ..CLYDE CHRISMAN.

I came from Fort Myers to help an employee with her car and found out my car needed an alternator, not just a battery. I called Race Ready because this lady recommended them at a Walmart I was at. They told me to come right over and had me back up and running within 2 hours tops. The people were all extremely nice and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

About a year and a half ago, I was having problems with my electrical system in my car and couldn't figure out the source of the short or how to find it never mind fix it. I brought my car in for an oil change and didn't mention the electrical problem. They called to tell me they found some electrical wiring had been chewed through (rats nest forming somewhere near the engine underneath the hood) and fixed it. That solved my electrical problem and the charge to fix it was extremely reasonable to boot. Highly recommend Race Ready to solve vehicle problems efficiently, quickly and reasonably.Services: Electrical repair, Oil change

The mechanics there had a difficult job and did it great. bring my jeep in for one thing, leave with my rock lights no longer grounded and my light bar wiring catching fire. owner Chris goes on to tell me that its impossible for his techs to have messed with it. then went on to say I'm blaming him for another shops work because I told him on my first visit that I was looking for a good shop as other have screwed me over. guess he doesn't care about how his customer get treated. and I know he is going to reply to this and blame the people who installed it. as he did to my face. but facts are I brought my jeep in with working rock lights and light bar, and I left with none working rock lights, and a light bar that caught fire. those are the facts. he told me it is a 100% coincidence that my rock lights became ungrounded in the day they had my jeep. can't trust anyone now a days. when you feel like you finally found an honest good shop, something bad has to happen. sad part is, I had well over $5,000 in customization I wanted them to do, that now won't be happening. don't let all the good reviews fool you.

Again Chris and his crew didn't disappoint . My transmission in my truck went out and they ordered me another one and got me back on the road . They are very professional and let you know what is going on with your vehicle and explain everything to you . I have been going to race ready for almost 2 years and they have always taking care of my of any problems I have had . Great work and a great price for all your vehicle needs , thanks again Chris and crew , you are all awesome.

Went in when I was vacationing in Florida for a transmission fluid service, Race Ready was available and actually capable of the job. Due to the owner s experience and knowledge, it was determined that a fluid replacement was not the best course of action. However, he recognized that there were issues with control arm bushings that needed to be addressed. All work was done quickly and properly with no headache, can t complain about any part of the experience really. Great shop.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Vehicle Inspection

Made an appointment have my kids cars alternator replaced. The price was right and the service was amazing. About a week later I walked in with a flat tire on my car, they fit me right in and they had me plugged and back on the road in short time. I've since recommended this place to everyone that's mentioned any cat issues.

Went there after seeing the great reviews on Google. Not impressed. I needed an oil change and asked them to look over my truck. They recommended brake pads AND rotors. I called them back and asked if I really need both pads and rotors. The lady who answered the phone said they replace pads with rotors and don't separate them out. She mentioned since I said I am towing a 5th wheel that she priced out extra heavy duty for me. Sorry I am not going to pay an extra $1.000 for pads and rotors.They also recommended a new tire which I bought. One sort of good thing is that I had them run a pressure test on my radiator hoses. They luckily found no leaking but recommended for me to replace the upper and lower radiator hoses anyways. ??? Needless to say I'm not going back here.Since they wanted me to do these things and others I wanted to make sure I actually needed the things they mentioned.I brought your truck to another tire place we have had luck with and they called me back and said the pads and the rotors were perfectly fine and didn't need replacing. They mentioned if I wanted to replace the pads I can if I wanted to, just to be safe and make sure I'm good for towing a big 5th wheel. Hmmm enough said.Services: Tires, Oil change

Very quick service. Needed an alternator was only there for 45 minutes beat EVERY other mechanics price in area. Very impressedChris the owner is smart knows everything about cars.. Justin did the work and was very fast.My car is older but everytime they do work I leave feeling like I have a brand new car.Highly Recommend them!

Honesty... That has to be the most important thing when it comes to having your car repaired. When I brought my car to Race Ready, I was told what needed to be done. I paid first, ( which was not required), but I did. When my car was complete, they spoke with me and handed me a check for repairs that were not necessary. That's an honest repair business. I have never ever felt taken advantage of. I have used this business for years, and I will continue. And I brag about them. It's a great feeling, when you pick up your car, drive away, and know your safe. Thank you Race Ready! I will continue to brag about my mechanics. My family have been working with race ready for years now and have gotten consistent quality service. They fit me in when I need it, call me when the car is done (usually the same day) and also give a run down of what they found, any concerns and recommendations, and always ask permission before doing any extra work.Everyone there is a pleasure to work with and will treat you with respect and fairness. I wouldn't use them if they were the last garage in charlotte county. I had my rear end done there and they put on new rotors and pads, now here it is a year later and I'm having to replace everything again. It was installed improperly. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Very impressed with Race Ready Auto Repair s professionalism, timeliness and reasonable pricing.Made a phone call on a Tuesday because my generator meter on my RV wasn t working and I was planning to go on a trip that Friday. Chris was quick to have me bring the RV, and quick to diagnose. He put a rush order on the part and made sure my RV was road-ready that Friday!Very nice and professional staff. I have had nothing but good experiences at this business.

They flashed my TCM to my PCM, which is a process that needs to happen in order for your shifts Illinois to work properly in your transmission and I believe that it was a successful flash. My truck is running great and I m very pleased would recommend them to everybody great people pleasure doing business with them.

They changed Transmission fluid and filters and added a auxiliary transmission cooler. I did end up having a small bit of leakage, due to a connection. However, they got me right in and fixed it right away. Very professional service. By the way they have the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in a Auto repair shop!!!! Much appreciated.

Would highly recommend this auto shop! Fast, fair and affordable. My Jeep Wrangler needed a new alternator and serpentine belt. They were able to get me in and the service done the same day.

This place does and amazing job with outstanding customer service! I will definitely be returning.I have known the owners of this company for over 10 years. Before they started this business. I know the kind of good work they do personally, and the wonderful character of the owners. The backlash they are getting from complete strangers who have never entered their business is sickening to say the least. I person should not be able to post in a public group to bait negative reviews.

I was recommended to this shop from a friend and can say that this shop is hands down the best I ve ever experienced!I know my way around a car and have done tons of repairs myself in the past, and felt at home with this team!What I loved is the head mechanic, possible owner, was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail; not just for me but what I overheard with other customers!I know now and in the future this is the place I m taking my car for everything!They understand there might be a budget in mind and try to repair your vehicle for the least amount, but very honest with you on what to expect.I ve never felt more comfortable with a mechanic team before! Highly recommended!Just on another note. They give 10% off on labor for military veterans! Amazing! And the warranty on labor... love this shop!

Great group of people. Was visiting my mom and truck developed a leak. Race ready auto took it in determined problem but could not get part in time before we had to leave. This was not a problem for me. They kept me well informed of the progress and truck was finished by the weekend and was able to drive back and pick up. Thanks Chris. We have been looking for a good mechanic since 2009 when we landed in FL for the winters. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any we liked in the area and we tried a lot of them. Last year, we finally found an auto mechanic we can trust with Race Ready. Chris and the team work within your budget and do not try to upsell you. They are fast, friendly, efficient and most importantly, do great work. Kudos to Race Ready!

In this day in age, it is so hard to find a reputable auto mechanic, who is honest, friendly and will not break your bank.I would like to officially recommend to my friends, colleagues and fellow teachers "Race Ready Auto Repair LLC in Port Charlotte, FL."Race Ready Auto. I cannot say enough about these guys...they are honest, straight forward, no hidden scheme to them at all. They will diagnose your vehicle along with your concerns (if you have any initially), and will break down the essential repairs as needed. They will emphasize the absolute essential repairs, explain the needs and reasoning, then will assist you (as the customer) to determine what is priority and what can be reserved for another time.Chris and his crew & staff, will do everything they possibly can to "earn your trust" and "earn your repeat business".They have now worked on two of my vehicles within a months time (both service, repairs and/or replacement parts), and will go over the estimate of costs, the repairs, and will help the customer save money...they are out to break the customers bank.The crew and staff are friendly, courtesy, honest and will take the time to answer your questions, concerns and will help educate them on what repairs have been done and/or what will need to be done.They have the atmosphere of an old fashion auto and service repair shop mentality, where they learn your name, vehicles, etc. It is refreshing in so many ways.Their shop and office are clean, neat and professionally maintained.Highly Recommended.

Awesome service . After taking my truck to a local chain garage and keeping it for 2 day just to be told they are scared to perform the work I called Race Ready and explained the situation. They said bring it on in . Needed and alignment because I changed tie rods and upper control arms and the ties were pigeon toed . They were very thorough, called with details and explained everything so I understood. Even got a text to click and broke down everything so weren't no surprises. Thanks Chris and the rest of the staff for getting me on the road fast . I was introduced to Race Ready from a trusted old friend who I called to tow my wife s jeep when the motor hydro locked.They worked with us and the insurance company to replace the motor. Chris was able to work it so that we received a replacement motor with a 3 year warranty! He also replace the clutch and it is better than brand new! WOW. I then also brought in a Subaru that need AC work done and he was half of what the dealership wanted for parts and labor! Great work, honest, knowledgeable, friendly and timely. We have had 3 vehicles repaired there in a month and are quite happy.
