Sean and his team has been taking care of my family and I for years! They provide exceptional customer service and always ensure you feel comfortable. You never have to worry about anything. Even with moving I tell everyone in the area go see Sean at Midas in port charlotte! I myself come back because I trust only him to take care of me and my car. Don t even hesitate give them a call. They will take of you.

Great service from the techs and office people. No pressure to fix anything else, but gave me sound advice as to what was needed. I will definitely return. The work that was done was finished in good time. Im 71 and driving back north soon. I feel that my car is safe to drive now. Thank you!

I took my 2011 Challenger to this shop for exhaust repair and after the work was done the heat from the exhaust melted the bumper and paint Causing major damage to my vehicle. I understand mistakes happen when I reached out to them they would not address the issue. After reaching out to midas headquarters I received a call from the port Charlotte location letting me know that they wou. Absolutely ridiculous! Ive had nearly 6000 dollars in work done with them but you can be sure they got there last dollar from me. Can not recommended this company. (Update 11/8/23: I was told that if I buy all repair parts port Charlotte midas will install them at no charge. I did not agree to this because I feel this should not be my expense.

The repair fixed my problem. Thank you. But, I feel you way over charged me. Double what the going rate per the internet. I feel you take advantage of a stranded motorist. With a $183.00 charge to simply look at my car, how could I get another quote? I will never use their service again.

went in for an oil change. while there they answered several questions about the operation of my vehicle. such as a battery tender while we are away for the summer rodent protection also demonstrated entry in vehicle using mechanical key. I will certainly be returning for future service needs. very satisfied

Everyone was very pleasant and I didn't feel preasured to make any other appointments or have any other service. They let me know that a tire rotation was included in the oil change and I opted to have that done as well. Laud back atmosphere and quaint waiting room with nice music ambience. Very impressed with pricing and will be back for my oil changes and maintenance!

I walked in without an appointment, new to the area I told them what I needed to be done in my car. The work was performed quickly and correctly with great customer service. Definitely will be going back These guys are for sure my new mechanics for any future work.

I recently visited Midas for the second time and was impressed with their service. The staff was courteous, focused, and efficient, even though they were busy. They ordered a new tire for me, which was delivered on time. However, the tire was 7 years old, and they promptly expedited another order for a new tire.I highly recommend their services.

I went in to have a flex pipe (small section of the exhaust) replacement done (Venice Toyota recommended it) and was told the engine mounts needed to be replaced because they likely caused the issue. I had the parts saved and another mechanic said the mounts are in perfectly good shape. A simple test would have shown that. Did they do any diagnostics? It doesn't look like it. Very cliche - walk in for a minor repair and walk out 1K poorer for a completely unneeded repair. They have refused to make things right, even with Florida Consumer Affairs attempted mediation. They also mark up parts bigly. Avoid this place. It's hard to find muffler shops but they are out there (I've heard Tuffy's a few times now - wish I knew that before). Upselling unneccesary repairs and exhorbitant markups on parts is an incredibly dishonest/immoral way of doing business. This is a perfect example of why people have developed a deep mistrust of auto repair businesses. Don't trust the Midas touch. I will definitely talk to a lawyer about this.

Amazing Crew & Staff ! Some of the nicest people you will ever meet and they get the JOB DONE! Jeremy is an expert at what he does and handled my tire situation and took care of my needs in under 20 min. Thank you MIDAS highly recommend!!!

Very happy with our experience at this location. The guys took great care of our sons exhaust system on his 2000 Dodge Ram. Gave an estimate for different options. Chose our option and installation was quick and efficient. Very happy. Will return for future exhaust work.

Midas in Port Charlotte completed an oil change, tire rotation, cabin filter replacement and extensive maintenance inspection for a very reasonable cost, completed this in a timely manner, we are definitely going to continue to service our cars here!

Sean, Dominic and the whole crew there at Midas ALWAYS do a spectacular job on my vehicles and always walk away quite pleased! Their prices are reasonable and their technicians are top notch and always get your car done within the time frame given and most of the time sooner. I have a business right next door to them and I ALWAYS send my customers over to them when asked if I know of a good mechanic in the area or any tire related questions. I definitely recommend this business for all of your car care needs and they have my business for life! GREAT JOB to Sean , Dominic and the crew at Midas!!

Only place I trust to change my oil and give me honest information on up coming maintenance like needing brake pads by my next oil change instead of trying to dig out the extra work early. Honestly goes a long way with me thank you

I went in to Midas for an 8am appointment, and my truck was pulled in to the Bay at 8:00 a.m. exactly! And then, I didn't even have time to finish my cigar and the oil change and fuel filters were all finished. Well done.

Been a customer at this location for a long time and they always do a great job. I needed brakes and rotors replaced on my Mazda and they went above and beyond! Dropped my car off in the morning so that it could be worked on for me while I was at work, and then went and picked it up by lunch time. Thank you Dominic and Sean you guys are great!

Every time I m at this Midas location I feel like they really care about my vehicle and myself. They don t seem to push me on extra repairs that don t have to be done right away but they will let me know that some repairs might be needed in the future. Their pricing is very good and work is fantastic

I have had my Honda SUV serviced at the Port Charlotte location for a few years now. They are wonderful, informative, honest, and efficient. They also go out of their way to educate you regarding your vehicle. I highly recommend Midas Port Charlotte. Dominic is great!

The service was exceptional. From the front desk Dominic made me feel like he was happy I was there. The work was performed quickly and correctly. It is hard in SW Florida to find a business with their work ethic. I will be a return customer for all of my vehicle needs. Also oil changes come with a free tire rotation for less money than any other place I have found for just the oil change.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

I had a broken Oil pressure sending unit. I was given two prices. One was if they could remove it and the screen one price. If the screen would not come out another price.They would have to remove the Intake section of the engine. I had this all explained to me Pryor to the work. After about 1.2 hours it was done and tested. I paid the bill which was about half the original bill because the screen came out. I am very pleased with both the work and honesty of the dealer.

These guys are awesome at this location. Im a mechanic myself but not a welder and these guys have very fair prices and do excellent work. Sean specifically took care of my new Challenger SRT with the manual 6 speed. I called and they got me in within 20 minutes the same day. Really flexible. I ll be bringing my other cars back and highly recommend these folks. Especially if you re not mechanically inclined these guys are fair with pricing and don t sell you stuff you don t need! you can trust them for those reading this but don t know about cars and don t want to get scammed.The mechanic who physically did the work himself (Sean) even followed up a few days later to make sure I m happy with it. You don t see that level of customer service these days.Service: Exhaust

I cannot say enough about the professionalism, attention to detail for the service provided, very thorough on explaining what service or services is needed. Not to mention, if it something simple they don t even charge you for it. Just an overall excellent place for service. Thank you Midas Team.
