They specialize with Ford vehicles, and I trusted them with my Excursion. 2002 with gas V 10. They changed my A/C compressor, and dryer, and said it held vacuum for the specified 20 minutes. No extra charges, no up charge. Didn't even ask to change my oil. They charged me at the low end of my estimate, and even gave me my veterans discount.I had the rare treat of having an enjoyable visit to an auto repair store. I am more than happy to recommend them to anyone else.

Super expensive went there for a quote they still charged me 60 bucks and the auto repair guy down the street charged me half the price for the same job. Glad I got a 2nd opinion.

Recently had them replace my internal waterpump. (Stupid Ford). They were very honest, fair and super knowledgeable. I usually do all my vehicle repairs, I just didn't have the time to do it this time. First time trusting anyone with my vehicle. Very impressed and happy with the results! Great family shop, upfront, honest and priced fair. Will be using them and only them for any advanced repairs in the future!Service: Engine repair

This husband and wife team have years of service under their belts which shows in their professionalism, reasonably priced fares and compassion. Have have some dumb luck with my Ford but they have been great and more than helpful! Owners and technicians are very knowledgable, they will fit a person in if at all possible in an emergency. Answer the car owners questions so they are fully informed of what needs to be done to get the car back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. Have gone here for years and always felt pricing was fair and the work is exemplary. Would not go anywhere else.

This company always takes care of my car problems whenever I come in. I trust them and their prices are reasonable Today my window was stuck down and they fixed it in about. I prefer them over the dealership. So glad I found them and highly recommend them.

I spent quite a lot of time searching for a transmission shop; I have a 1995 OJ edition Bronco that had developed an irregular shifting pattern. I was referred to M & R by a local mechanic; the fact that they have over 50 years between them, Mike & Rick (M & R), working on Fords was certainly a bonus. They're definitely a shop that under promises and over delivers, and they have the most reasonable hourly rate in Charlotte county. My transmission problem turned out to be entirely electronic; best of all, I wasn't hit with a rebuild fee.

Very honest. If work needs to be done they do it and do it right. If you think it needs work and they look at it and it doesn't need work they will tell you that. 5 stars. Best place in the area. After 1 year and several $$Trips$$ to 2 other $$Shops$$ Rick and Mike got my 2010 truck running and shifting like it was when new now (137,000 miles) with only one appointment and LESS than half of what I already spent at 1 of the other shops. They earned my business from now on. Thank You Team M&R

Do yourself a favor use the internet for resources, I find out when I was looking at my car invoices how M&R charge me twice the amount for piece that only cost $65 and then labor was at a higher price you pay from the local car dealer, when I found out it was something simple to do that it will take at tops 30MN look in the internet first and do yourself a favor to save money, they work on my car and after a couple months I start with the same issues, they told me to bring the car over to check if there is something else, that did not sound good, so I decided to take to the dealer and they told me same parts needed to be replace, the part they replace was bad, I know it can take some time to find info on the internet, but at the end it will save you money and headaches.
