The people at King s express were a godsend to me last weekend. The scariest thing that has ever happened to me while driving in my life happened on a work trip from Miami to Tampa. The brake vacuum pump exploded and all of a sudden I couldn t brake while on the fast lane of the highway. Well, when I tried to brake I couldn t. I had to put my entire leg weight on the brake to be able to slow down and veer off to the emergency lane, where I finally came to a complete halt. After I collected myself from the panic attack that came after, I googled the nearest car mechanic to see if they could help me, which thank God, was this place. I cautiously drove 10 minutes to the shop, and when I got there, I was treated with the most humanity I ve ever experienced at any car shop - and maybe any business, period. They immediately helped me, and went out of their way to go get the piece my car needed at a Chevy dealership nearby. Not only did they fix that, but they also checked other things that had been messed up in my car for like two months - things that got messed up after my last car shop visit at a Jiffy Lube by my house, even though I had only gone in for an oil change The last shop also lied about needing things like a brake pad change, which they checked at Kings Express and told me were fine. So they probably sabotaged my car at the last place to get me to come back. Anyways, the service was quick, and the price they gave me was unbeatable (my sister s husband owns his own car shop in Port St. Lucie and told me so) . So despite my desperate situation, they didn t take advantage of me, like most other car shops would. I m forever grateful to have had the luck of finding this place last weekend, because I don t think I wouldn t gotten a better outcome or experience anywhere else.

I cannot show enough appreciation for Rueben and David at Kings Express. I feel 100% comfortable with trusting them with my auto repair needs. I Highly recommend this shop after 2-3 years of coming here. They never disappoint, I always feel like I'm getting the best deal. Most importantly though, you can tell they want what's best for the customer and not their wallet.Thank you so much David and Rueben for providing trustworthy affordable auto repair and caring more about the customer!

Went today to repair tire and the gentleman who helped us was quick, efficient, and nice. After repairing our tire, we asked how much for the service, he said it s nothing; have a safe trip. We could not leave without paying for his kindness and we certainly had to write a positive review. Thank you.

I had my air-conditioning serviced there. The service was great, was in and out in less than an hr. The people were friendly. Most of all, my air-conditioning is working again. And, at a fair price. Will definitely go there again.

There s a reason you support local, small business! Great service first time I went there and now they have easily earned my business! Did I mention? Veteran owned!

While driving south on 75 late yesterday afternoon, my van unexpectedly began shaking followed by the engine warning light. My nightmare is getting stranded on the roadside far from home with my nonverbal, medically complex son and his large wheelchair - and yesterday I added my elderly mom to that. Off the very next exit, I luckily found Kings Express Auto Repair. Before I even reached their door, Rubin came out to greet me and find out what was happening. A quick diagnosis found that the 4th cylinder was bad - a Chrysler Pacifica issue. Ruben took care of our emergency with grace, kindness and professionalism. When I left, my automatic start stop which has been broken for months was working again - a favor Ruben must included in his efforts that wasn't even part of the discussion. Please support this Veteran business - they'll take great care of you.

Took my truck in for an oil change; the mechanic noted that I would need new front brakes soon. He took me out and allowed me to see for myself. The whole job took about an hour and the price was fair. I will be sure to use this service center again.

I have never met an owner of a business who is more compassionate, caring, sympathetic,honest and overall a "great" guy. I am a recent widow who is facing automotive problemsand saw Rubin to help me read a transmission dip stick and add fluid. When asked how much Iowed his reply was "have a good day". I have also experienced "blessings" from his businesspreviously so I know this is the type of business they run. I "highly" recommend Kings Express Auto Repair for any and all automotive needs.

Kings express auto repair in Port Charlotte is the place to go if your looking for oil changes, brakes or tire changes. Rubin is very knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest which is rare these days but very important when running a business. All the work I received was fairly priced, serviced quickly, professionally, and done with precision and care. I am more than satisfied with the services I received and look forward to doing business in the future! Thank you so much again for the outstanding services!

I m new to the area and found this shop by word of mouth. Had some front end work done there and couldn t be happier with the service. Great guys, didn t try sell me anything I didn t need and the job was done way before the time they told me, very happy with the work they did. In an area flooded with repair shops Kings stood out as honest and reputable. Veteran owned company, they will definitely be getting my business from now on.

Hands down the best mechanic and customer service I've ever received in this area. Went in with an issue today regarding my check engine light, which they diagnosed it quickly and were able to work with me financially to get the job done today. Can't recommend Kings Express enough after this experience.

Was really happy with the service I received. My car broke down nearby and they quickly assessed my vehicle, explained to me what was wrong and had my car repaired within an hour. Quick, precise, guys really know what they re doing. Not out to take your money for unnecessary things but to satisfy customers. They did my brakes in 20 min at the end of the day, they were kind enough to squeeze me in and I REALLY needed new brakes. Pricing is fair and they do quality work. They also did my Air conditioning never had a problem with it since, and a few other things too. Need more shops like this in town they get you in and out and do the job right, most importantly they re honest and don t try to screw you over for money.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

We panicked when our car started making noise on the highway a half hour from home, but we lucked out that this shop was at the closest exit! They lifted the SUV within twenty minutes of our unexpected arrival, and 90 minutes later, we were back on the road. It's definitely worth the half hour drive to go there the next time we have car trouble. Great service, quick, and most importantly, they didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need!

I recently moved to the area and after researching reviews I felt confident to try Kings Express. I love the fact that it's Veteran owned too! The entire staff went above and beyond with my car. I thought something was wrong with my AC, I called several places that wanted to charge a $150 diagnosis check. The gentleman at Kings Express wanted to look under my cars hood first before charging me for an AC check. Sure enough it was something else. They could've made me pay for it but were honest and really helped me out. They quoted me for 8 hours of labor and ended up only charging me for the 4 hours it actually took. Again, I feel another company would have taken advantage. Every single person I spoke with in person and on the phone at Kings Express was so polite, friendly and professional. I had a lot of questions and they took their time to explain it all to me and didn't make me feel dumb. Hi there! Went in yesterday to see if I could replace my tire that got popped. David was absolutely amazing and gave me a price right away and we ordered it to install the following day (today)I was working today and sent my pregnant fianc� and son to their shop to fix, David assured me he would make the process very easy for them and didn't even have them hop out of the car! Great shop. Honest, reliable and great at what they do. After 2 other mechanics failed to diagnose my car properly, Rubin (the owner) was able to diagnose and fix it in less than 24 hours.

We were on vacation from MI and our car broke down a few miles from Kings Express. We are very picky about who works on our cars and have our mechanics here in MI, so we were very leery on using someone we hadn't heard of. From the beginning we were confident in Kings Express. They got us right in, and promised to get our car done that day so we weren't stranded for the rest of our trip. Their prices were fair, the guys worked fast, and everyone was friendly. They rushed parts over, they kept us in the loop on what was going on and did a great job on our vehicle. Highly recommend this shop!

My wife and I were just down there on vacation and our car broke down leaving us stranded. After a 3 hour wait for a tow, the guys at Kings Express were quick to order parts and get our car fixed before closing time to get us back on the road. We got a nail in our tire on the way to the airport. We stopped at Kings Express and the entire staff was extremely nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The tire was fixed within 20 minutes and we made our flight! I highly recommend Kings Express! Such nice people!Service: TiresService: Tires

Previous owner was good. New owner quoted me 400 or so, honestly don't remember, for a set of 4 brakes. They charged $250, I thought I got a discount since I brought my own pads or and rotors or something. I got home and realized they only did the rear. Went back and they did the front but said they had to charge me another $250 since they had to put it back up again. So I in total I paid $500 for a job I was quoted $400 for.Few months later I bring my wife's car in there as she had a tire pressure issue. They said they couldn't fix the TPMS but they put a regular valve stem in and then we could get the TPMS fixed when ever we wanted somewhere else. I take it over to get the TPMS actually fixed, and they show me that the TPMS sensor was still in the tire and it rolled around and banged up the whole inside of the tire and tore apart the inside of the tire. The inside of the tire had little notches all torn out of it and I had to replace the whole tire and the TPMS. I wouldn't bring my car here, the old management used to be great.

After 7 places trying to find less than a 3 hour wait, I walked in and they greeted me and said I'll be with you in a second. I showed them my tire and it was an awkward puncture. The nail went head in. I left my tire overnight so I didn't have to wait that long line ahead of me. First thing this morning they fixed the tire up. Put it on and i was on my way. They went way above and beyond. Amazing customer serviceThese guys cared about my needs and showed it every step of the way. They showed me the patch and plug and where it was located. I even watched them spray something on the tire put it on the rim and aired it up. I pulled my truck up put the tire back on and put the spare back in place. I would highly recommend these wonderful gentlemen. 110% is my final grade.Service: Tires
