!!!!!!THIS DEALER SELLS LEMON VEHICLES!!!!!!!I had bought my brand new 2023 Kia Sorrento On November 17, from Chris and I had asked him multiple questions about the vehicle and he had made me feel as it would be safe, reliable vehicle for years to come or so I thought.I had had the car up until around December 10 And experience some electrical issues were the alarm kept going off. I immediately took the car back to the dealer and they had given me A Kia forte loaner car from enterprise while they were working on it. I originally brought the car in and the guy at the desk of the service department I don t remember his name I want to say Steven he was very rude to me and proceeded to talk down to me and had asked me if anything was living in it I told him no, and he proceeded to keep asking me well are you sure and if anything is chewed up we will have to charge you to look at it. I explained to him no this is a brand new car and I have always taken care of my vehicles. As I keep it in the garage nice and safe and we aren t dirty people. And proceeded to ask once more are you sure you don t have rats I was shocked by his level of disrespect towards there customers and told him for the last time no I don t as I told you multiple times and then he said that my attitude was not needed. This was the first car I was ever able to purchase so on my own as I was 20 years old with out a co-sign they had the car up until December 26, when I finally tired of leaving it in there for Service and driving a small forte loaner Whenever I had called to get an answer on my car, I kept being told we don t know how to fix it and that they had opened up a case with Kia I went up there a week after dropping it off to get my stuff out of it that I needed and they couldn t find my keys for the car for half a hr they said it was in someone s desk and then couldn t find my car and eventually we found it parked in the front of the dealer in customer parking The dealer had tried to convince me to pay $60 more per month for the same car but in white and I told them no and that I wanted my car fixed or they can give me the same one for the same price as I wasn t paying any more per month I was sold a Lemon of a vehicle and the Kia dealer had failed To hold themselves accountable for selling a faulty car I will never buy another Hyundai/Kia ever. Around 2 1/2 - 3 months after after I traded it in, and Kia finally reached out to ask if they were able to resolve my issue with my Sorrento and which I told them the dealer was full of incompetent repair specialists admitted to not knowing how to fix their cars after I took it back on December 26 I had traded it in for a new Jeep I had loved my Sorento since the moment I brought it home from the size to the power and I do miss that car but I am very disappointed in the way that this dealer had treated me as a customer as they never could make it right

PLEASE LOOK AT THE RECENT ONE STAR REVIEWS. I recently purchased an electric vehicle from Kia of Port Charlotte and from Day 1 I have had issues with it. I have reached out to the dealership since the issues started occurring. Initially I thought that maybe I just needed to acquire more knowledge of EVs and the vehicle itself, but the vehicle got progressively worse over the past few days, and I realized that there is a major battery issue that wasn t disclosed at the time of purchase. Day 1 the battery decreased so rapidly that I thought for sure it was going to shut down at night with my baby in the car. By Day 3 the car shut off, requiring a tow. I then reached out to the dealership who informed me that they were unable to help. Regardless of a vehicle being purchased as is , it s fraudulent to not disclose major issues and a business of proper values and integrity would do the right thing in this situation. I m a single mom who is recently divorced, so I don t have access to a back up vehicle. I ve attached some pictures to show just how rapidly the battery decreases within less than 15 minutes with just a mile difference on the odometer. I just want to raise awareness to someone before committing to a purchase at this dealership. They prey on vulnerable consumers with no intent of good customer service support once the car is sold. I previously had awesome experiences at Honda. Do yourself a favor and avoid this.

This was my first visit today. Needed to replace a 8yr old Optima. Was expecting to buy used, ended up in a 24 Forte GT Line. Many thanks to Cody and Adrialys for their help. Not only did they help with the purchase, but they also calmed the nerves during the process. If you are looking for a Kia, BUY IT HERE! The entire building is super clean and very comfortable.

I want to start my review with telling you that I absolutely despise car shopping. It s probably one of my least favorite things to do in life.That being said, this dealership has given me the first positive experience that I ve ever had at a car dealership. I ended up here because of an ad on Carfax. Just imagine that the price was the actual price of the car. Of course there are dealer fees, taxes etc, but no bait and switch!Also no games, no machismo manager tactics, no high pressure techniques, just good customer service, friendly staff, and good prices.Cody was an amazing sales specialist.They have my business from now and on, and my recommendation.

The car buying experience was great. I don't really care for the finance company though. I can't wait till I refinance my loan. But what really leads me to this poor review is that they have NOT paid off my trade in yet. It has been over a month since I purchased my new vehicle. I have called several times and talked to to different people in different departments. I also sent my Salesman Dave an email. Nothing. The one guy I spoke with even stated "Oh it's financed through Suncoast. Easy to get done since they are local. Still nothing. I have a payment due in 3 days and I don't want it to ruin my credit, So I will probably have to make the payment or return the vehicle at this point.

What a great experience I had at Kia Port Charlotte! Nick T. Was absolutely awesome. It was like talking to a friend about a car. No pressure to buy, no pushy sales pitches. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He made the numbers work for me along with his finance manager, Brandon, who was also great to work with. I will absolutely be returning for future vehicles. They have a great team there.

Had an appointment at 12 to replace a speaker. They told me it would be a 2 hour wait which was fine and I said I would wait. Three hours passed and checked on my vehicle to find out it hasn't been touched. Would you like to reschedule? No I would not! I work and took off for this.

Recently, I got my oil change on my Forte, and the young man Trent Thurber at Kia of PC Service department provided a swift and efficient oil change, getting me in and out in no time. Disaster from start to finish. Do NOT waste your time here especially if you have your own financing. I ve never had such unprofessional and disappointing experience buying a vehicle. From the service manager to the finance manager and everyone in between who made so many mistakes and showed zero integrity. I could go on and on but I strongly suggest purchasing your vehicle anywhere else. Literally anywhere.Edit: Even though Kia ( Michelle) responded to this review here, they have yet to respond to my email. This just shows how much they value their customers.

I went to the dealer to look at a used vehicle my daughter found online. We texted with our sales person Dave and set up a time. When we arrived we were greeted and shown the vehicle. The whole process was very pleasant. Dave was very professional and friendly. I did not get the name of the used car appraiser but he was also courteous and professional. Louis the finance advisor was very helpful and took the time to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

My experience with purchasing a used vehicle at Kia of Port Charlotte was great! Purchasing a car can be stressful, but my salesperson Chris was AMAZING, and also his trainee Derek, very helpful. I am so glad I had Kyle for my finance manager. Everything from start to finish went smooth. Chris and Kyle were so down earth, respectful, and made my buying experience very positive. My wife and I recently had an outstanding service-related experience at Kia of Port Charlotte. The AC on our K5 abruptly quit working just as we were expecting company to come down from up north for a visit. After learning that it would be at least 3 weeks before our car could even be seen at the dealership where we had originally purchased the car, I was amazed when I called the Port Charlotte dealership and they arranged to see me the very same day! After determining that it was going to take a day to make the repair, Service Advisor Falsiha Howey even arranged to provide us with a loaner vehicle to accommodate our plans with our guests! The whole process was painless, thanks to the attentive efforts of Falisha, and certainly made an impression on us to consider this dealership when purchasing our next car! We could not have asked for a better experience... they get a 5 out of 5 rating from us!

Went here Sunday to purchase a car we liked and the man helping us was very dismissive and disrespectful. He knew nothing about the car we were looking at and was no help whatsoever. Very pushy salesman and didn t feel welcome there at all. We ended up going to Norm Reeves Volkswagen and they were much more kind and helpful. Not pushy at all and they knew everything about the car we wanted. We ended up making a deal and buying the car there.

This dealership is putting the prices more than any other dealership I ve been to. I came into apply for for a car and it was as if I had to do my own deal. I went there one late afternoon to apply and I was told that they would call me and I haven t heard from them since. I m glad I took my business elsewhere and purchase my new vehicle somewhere else. I drove almost an hour to Kia of Port Charlotte because they're website had the largest selection of Sportages to choose from and I have to say it was well worth the trip. I was instantly greeted by salesman Kenneth Merlos, and he had me test driving the Sportage I wanted within 5 mins. I truly had the best car buying experience thanks to Kenneth. He was attentive, extremely knowledgeable and just such a warm caring person. I felt like I had a friend helping me lease a new car. I walked in there with a deal in mind and this dealership did everything in their power to get me the car I wanted for the payment I wanted without the pressure to pay more than I could afford. They said they wanted to earn my business and they certainly did. I also want to shout out Gage Kinney (the sales manager) and Kyle Kinney (the finance manager), as the excellent service and caring attitude continued in my encounters with both of them. Someone is running this dealership the right way. The employees are obviously happy with their jobs and it shows through in the top notch service they provide to their customers. I'll be telling everyone I know to go buy a car here. I'm so happy I made the trip and I'm thrilled with my new Sportage! Thanks guys!!

Not a great overall experience buying a Certified Pre Owned EV6. Had a 9a meeting scheduled to complete paperwork and neither the paperwork or the car were ready.Over $2,000 in junk dealer service fees were tacked on to the price, noted as registration and 3rd party fees, but we were taking care of the registration out of state.Car only had 1 fob, and was missing the flat tire kit and a charging adapter included on the window sticker.Nice enough staff, but check things carefully before finalizing your deal.

Dealt with their service department on Friday Feb 2nd. Sarah, who schedules appointments, was extremely pleasant. Maria, a service writer, was extremely helpful and went out of her way to ensure not only I, but the other people around her were completely welcomed and comfortable. I also had the pleasure of meeting the service manager, Tyler, who seems to be running a "tight ship" with a well versed team.Top notch customer experience!Thank you to all the smiling faces and kind words I received from every employee I interacted with.

My very first time ever buying a car. I worked very hard for 2 years saving for this car. I was hoping for a great experience and it was a nightmare. I seriously recommend going to a different Kia dealership or a whole different dealership if you re buying a car and especially if you re bringing your own financing. If you do end up going here ask for Jayla she s the only good and helpful person there if it wasn t for her I would ve went somewhere else. Do better Kia I m seriously disappointed with how everything turned it out. :(

David Reichert really goes out of his way to help out his customers. He is the most caring, hard working, no pressure salesman we have met. Manager listened to me and didn't waste my time. Salesperson was very fast and also didn't waste my time. Finance person was also very fast and had me approved in just a few minutes. Went in with a damaged car, six years old, and still owed a lot on it. Left about two hours later driving a brand new one and the old one completely paid off. There's nothing like a brand new car!
