So I got in an accident in June 2022Brought my car in to them for a week of work to fix it is November now and I still do not have a car. Since the hurricane they have been closed indefinitely will not pick up the phone to myself or the insurance company but is cashing their checks????? Filing a lawsuit and sadly losing my 2021 Brand new carHurricane took my house, already sad. D amicos is holding my car hostage meanwhile having done little to no work. Remember my car has been in their lot since late August.Won t pick up the phone, and supposedly closed forever? Nice. My lawyer will be speaking to themService: Body & Trim

Took my car here because my radiator was leaking and it needed to be replaced, also the housing was bent due to an accident. I didn t get any aesthetic work done. They replaced the radiator and charged me for a new housing as well as the paint for it, the only problem was that it was the same housing bent into place. How do I know? Well I checked beforehand because I ve heard of shops doing this. Needless to say life was hectic at the time so I put it off because I really needed my car. The bill was in the thousands.( for a radiator, a bent back housing with no paint and a coolant line. It was dishonest and unprofessional.

STAY AWAY from this business as they are unreliable!This company lacks customer service and they do not even care. I accepted a repair estimate on May 12, 2022 and scheduled my appointment. I waited 3 months for my appointment date of August 15, 2022. On the day of my scheduled appointment I was enroute to drop my truck off and received a call from Nicole D'Amico. She told me that her painter had called in sick 2 days earlier and she was not certain when or if the painter would return. I shared my frustration and Nicole told me she would call me in 3-4 hours with a new appointment date. It's now been 3 weeks and I've not been contacted by Nicole. I own a 30 year service business myself and I must say, this is so disrespectful and if this is how D'Amicos treats their customer's, they do not deserve to be in business.Service: Body & Trim

This auto shop was fantastic. After having my car repaired by what was in closest distance to the site of accident and where my car was towed, I brought my car here to be fixed second from a previous auto body shops mistakes. This shop was amazing at repairs, hard work ethic, great communication, and they truly care about their customers and their reputation. I cannot thank this shop enough for fixing other peoples mistakes, communicating well, and being so helpful and honest with their repairs. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone! I now feel safe again in my car and my car looks great!

Dropped my 2018 GMC Sierra for cosmetic work on the door. Dropped off on Monday, and was completely ready for pick up on Friday. Picked up right before close, and they were very accommodating throughout the whole process. My truck looks as good as new, and I cannot recommend this body shop enough! The women on the phone, I believe her name is Nicole, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Hands down best Auto shop around. Bobby is a master with his knowledge of fixing to building. Brought my mother in law's car in for a Hood fix and within 5 minutes she was back on the road..No charge but I still Left something for his time and professional expertise abilities.I would highly recommend this place of business to anyone. I had a great experience with this company! I had a dent from someone backing into me on my door and they were able to fix/ match the paint on my silver 2019 Honda Accord sport like it never happened ! Thank you guys so much ! They are straight up honest. They really haggle with the insurance company's to get you new parts for your car vs used parts when they are relatively new. Like a 2013 CRV Honda. Never looks like it's been wrecked. They do great auto body work!

D'Amico's was recommended to us by the local Kia dealer after a deer decided to assault our vehicle up north. I've lost the name of the lady who managed our repair, but she seems to really know the ins and outs of body repair and insurance. She set us up with a rental car from Hertz with pick up at the shop. The work took a little longer than expected due to more damage found, but they met the amended time frame. Color match of the repaired areas was perfect and everything looks great. Our experience really was A+

Fast, Friendly and an overall awesome experience at D Amico s!!! They setup my rental so when I dropped off my car the car rental place picked me up. The repair looks fantastic!!! And was finished 2 days ahead of schedule! Thank you for making this as easy as possible

If your looking for a a business to paint your car please take my word and come here. I ve searched so many locations in port charlotte and D Amicos are the best. from customer service to honest and great pricing they are the best. Please take my word. Most places see a single mom and want to take advantage of them not here they really did a great job.Service: Painting

I know Florida is world famous for their oranges but this place should be famous for their orange peel, contaminated paint, bad customer service, lies and their "paint guy" who will threaten you after you call him out on his shoddy work.So my grandmother scratched her front bumper no big deal right, should just be a simple and easy job right? Boy was I wrong... First impressions were great, it looked like a good place and and came highly reviewed from a friend of the family, and for the most part the reviews were pretty good online, so we take the car in. (keep in mind these reviews can easily be faked by employees and or owners to make the company seem better than they actually are)First Issue: Was Nicoles initial attempt to oversell my grandmother on respraying the entire hood for a small scratch that could easily be touched up. THANK GOD we choose not to do the hood!!!Second Issue: Nicole forgot about our scheduled appointment to get the car fixed as we had to wait 20 minutes for her to unlock the front door. She said she had us scheduled for the day before however the actual scheduled date was my grandmothers birthday so how could we forget that... whatever no big deal maybe she was covering up for making us stand outside maybe she genuinely got the date wrong who knows, but that set us back a few days.Third Issue: We go to get the car back and unfortunately Nicole had her pay for the job without even showing the work first... I wish I would've said something because that would've been the end of this whole ordeal. To anyone who's still reading PLEASE don't pay someone before you've seen the work. Nicole assured us that the paint would be better than factory... She couldn't have been more wrong... The paint was filled with dirt and fish eyes also there wasn't a spot of the bumper that wasn't a deep orange peel like texture. It this point I don't know much about paint but I could guarantee it wasn't sprayed in a controlled environment, you know like a paint booth... I showed Nicole and she agreed it was NOT DONE and that she would FIX ALL the issues I pointed out to her by wet sanding and filling in the pen holes if we bring it back in a week. After researching the issues like the dirt, orange peel and pin holes I found that it was a combination of bad prepping, improper technique and a contaminated environment. In other words they rushed it out the door and hoped we wouldn't notice. I can't help but to wonder how many other people got this same treatment and just thought it was normal or expected...Forth Issue: We take the car back in to get it fixed we were quoted 2 hours but it ended up being closer 4. No big deal right more time equals better results right? Wong again... Now instead of orange peel and dirt we have sanding marks and a dull finish, oh and those fish eyes are still there... Shes now saying those were already there and that they were actually chips from before we brought it in... I literally pointed all of them out to her the week before and she said she would FIX them...Fifth Issue: The "painter" or lack for better words painthuffer just couldn't understand why I was upset with the quality or lack there of his work and the number he did on my grandmothers car. So I told him all of issues I had with it and then he wants to get mouthy as if i have no right to critique his work or be upset with the final results. After a little back and forth, he then goes inside and comes out griping a pair of scissors and proceeds to threaten and name call as if he was going to do something. Needles to say not something you want your grandmother to see, and I'm ashamed I even engaged in an argument with him in front of her but this never should have gotten to this point and its sad Nicole let her employee act like that with a customer.I guess the moral of the story is if you don't want to go through a similar experience, I suggest you don't trust all the reviews, leave at the first hint of immorality and really do your due diligence before settling on an auto-body shop to get a loved ones car painted.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Second time I ve used D Amicos for body work. If all you care about is speed go to another shop. If perfection is what you re looking for they are as good as it gets in their respective field. Good people, great staff (Shoutout Nicole up front), attention to detail is second to none. I ll use no one else and wait for them every time if I have to. My first experience with an auto body shop and I'm glad I picked D'Amico's. After a highly stressful experience with a minor accident, D'Amico's made it right by coordinating the rental car for us and repairing the damage to new condition. They were very thorough in explaining the repair process. I have no complaints and would encourage anyone in need to put D'Amico's at the top of the list.

I locked my key in my brand new car. The locksmith came to rescue damaged the trim and bent the door frame. D Amico s auto body did the repair and I couldn t even tell the damage was existed. The office even arranged the rental car to pick me up and return to the shop. Their estimate is on par with other auto repair shops. I highly recommend them.

This is the second experience I had regarding a body shop repairing a side mirror on my Nissan Altima. This business listened to me and went above and beyond to help me fix the problem and point out other issues I had.It was done fast and for a great price. This would of been my first choice to get any repairs done. Excellent customer service, fast, and for a great price!!!!!!!!I highly recommend this place to anyone!!!!Compared to Maaco, Maaco is way over priced for half the job!There's excellent customer service! You was highly recommended to me by Superior Pools!Thank you all for the great work!

The owner helped me out with fixing something small on my car for free without making me wait. He didn't know me, and I was kind of at his mercy. He could have charged me, and I would have paid it. He was very helpful and kind. These people have restored my faith in humanity. I recommend anyone that isn't out to nickel and dime you at every corner.

Would recommend checking out a shop called Driving Impressions before going here. About a year ago, I got a bumper painted at d'amico. Took them like 2 weeks and costed more than $1200. For a freaking mid size sedan bumper. Got a new car recently and needed my bumper painted, hood dent fixed and painted, and roof filled and painted due to hail dents. Brought it to Driving Impressions and they got everything done in a week and it looks amazing. Plus they charged way less. Shops like D'Amico are imo focused on just making money, and shops like driving Impressions are focused on the craftsmanship.

D'Amico's Auto Body is the best body shop hands down. Bobby and Nicole do not let anything, including a bumper, leave that shop unless it is perfect. I know this because they have done a lot of work on my 2010 Camaro. I now have a 2013 Camaro and this is the only place I am comfortable taking it. The compliments I get are because of Bobby and his attention to detail and craftsmanship.This is not a large body shop but that is the beauty of this place. Your car is entrusted to people who care about the quality of work produced and want to make a positive difference for their customers and the community.Stop by and talk to Bobby or Nicole for a few minutes and see for yourself that any negative comments are bitter remarks that hold no credibility.

Went in no paint damage honest to give us a paintless guy very hard to find honest folks down here but they are the real deal.
