I can't say enough good things about the team at Avenue Garage. My Audi had an issue that other shops couldn't solve. Avenue Garage didn't just throw parts at the problem (like other shops), they actually diagnosed the issue and solved it. It's so refreshing to find a shop you can actually TRUST!

I truly appreciate a business which respects the customer and makes the effort to earn business. They have quality staff which results in quality work. I am impressed by the communication and their ability to keep to schedule. My BMW is in good hands at Avenue Garage and I feel confident in their word and work.

The guys at Avenue Garage have always been amazing. Dakota at the front desk was my first experience with them a couple of years ago and the customer service they provide is the best at a shop that I ve ever had.Jordan is the only tech that I ve let work on my 2019 Audi RS3 and he s done nothing short of amazing work. With all of the performance parts that he s installed for me, my car rips Literally have no reason to go to any other shop after finding this one stop shop of amazing car guys. After having continued poor service, poor communication and poor workmanship with a prior shop, a neighbor recommended Avenue Garage and I couldn't be happier with how organized they are, and the communication and thoroughness is wonderful. These types of well run business are no longer the norm unfortunately, so when you find one that cares about it's customer and service, it is refreshing. When cars age and you want to make sure to keep them as long as possible and feel safe driving them, I feel this is the kind of business that will give me that peace of mind.

I had a worn out steering lock motor on my 2012 e350 cabriolet that is a $2500 repair at the dealer and usually takes weeks to do and lasts 5-6 years max. Terrible German over-engineering. Avenue's owner has found a "steering lock emulator" that bypasses the problem permanently. It took them 1 day to install it for <$900.They also do new e350 keys including programming for <$250. $500+ at the dealer.Great, honest people to deal with. Called on Friday, got me in the following Monday and out Tuesday AM.Service: Electrical repair

I brought my car for a full inspection, and everyone was super helpful. They wrote me up a $9000 estimate at the time. I called back to get the process started with my mirror being fixed (as I had a week trip coming up and that was a must fix before we left) and when they heard I only wanted my mirror done instead of the entire $9000, it was almost immediate that they dropped off the face of the Earth. I brought my car back in, and the owner (who I had been working with the entire time) sent someone else to take a look and I never heard back from them since. I ve called twice to get an update, and both times they beat around the bush. The business is only interested in you if you re going to make them money, they have no interest in actually helping you. I will never recommend this garage, and have made sure to share my experience with others who ask.

I had a whole bunch of custom work done on my sq5.The guys did a killer job with the install. Everything looks really professional in stock looking. Even helped me troubleshoot a couple problems that I was having with some of the components I provided. Would highly recommend. Great communication throughout the entire project.

Very bad experience. They probably not that good with German vehicles like other reviews show. Bring them car with abs issue and they keep it for more then month and never update me with any progress unless I called myself and ask them what's going on with my car. They let me buy very expensive computer another expensive parts and they replaced and car still have same issue like before and was probably worst. All my original computers they let me bought and replaced work perfectly and there was nothing wrong with them. I have them checked in dealer. They return my car in with my ABS activated any time I use brake pedal. No matter if you drive 2 miles per hour or 60 miles per hour. No normal brakes work on my car. Only abs . Very unsafe and danger drive car with pulsing brake pedal under my foot. When I point this issue when pickup my car the manager drove it with me and he said that's how brakes work. I took my car to the German mechanic and he told me whoever touch my abs sensors totally ignored factory recommend gap between sensor and ring which is 0.7mm and they leave 1/4 inch gap!!! So I spend over $2500 on Garage avenue for their guessing and paint thousands for repair and what I really need was 30 minute abs sensor adjustment without any parts needed.Service: Auto brake repair

I can t say enough about this garage. Number one it was recommended by a friend of mine number two I ve always been Lerry of car garages. But this place is so good. They did a whole rundown on our car and told us that the heads were leaking and there was oil, we could never see the oil dripping so my husband and I were kind of leery so we stopped in and the gentleman took us out there and went through the whole car with us and showed us where the oil was leaking and how it was leaking and just put our mind totally to rest . I ve never had a car garage do that. We will never take our cars anywhere else but there now. I totally recommend it, you ll come away feeling the same. Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This is a reliable garage. The front office staff are very knowledgeable and professional. They are very thorough with their investigation into issues, and I can trust them to fix the problem the first time around. I take my vehicles there preferably over the dealership. Their mechanics are willing to come out and explain their repairs when you come to pick up your vehicle. A+ service.

The turbochargers in my Infiniti went bad 6months outside of warranty. These guys immediately recommended I contact Infiniti Consumer Affairs before my appointment. Because of their honesty, I got my car repaired for free. Saved me $$$. I will absolutely use them and recommend them in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Avenue Garage is an authorized dealer for APR tuning. My 2014 Volkswagen CC was completely stock with the manufacturer rated 200 horsepower and 207 foot pounds of torque (APR dyno'd the stock motor at 221hp and 223 ft-lbs.) This is a reasonable amount of power but considering the basic architecture of this motor is tuned considerably higher in other VW/Audi applications, I wanted to upgrade its performance. FWIW, those sharing this 2.0 TSI motor include the VW Passat, GLI, GTI Tiguan and the Audi A3 and TT (and others.) APR has been among the best tuners for over 20 years with a reputation for performance, quality and reliability. Their Black Friday special was too good to miss.Ron at Avenue Garage was very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained the process and worked with me on the logistics of getting my daily drive in and serviced. Kirk did the tune (more about that later) and I couldn't be happier with the service he performed. My car was done well within the time estimated and the cost was right where it was estimated.The Stage 1 tune is nothing short of amazing. APR really has tuning down to a science. Peak acceleration has definitely increase significantly, but ordinary performance has noticeably improved. APR states that fuel economy will increase but I would imagine that would have to be if you are showing some restraint with driving habits. The car is definitely quicker. I haven't tested it and I don't have a baseline, but I'm sure the 0-60 and 1/4 miles times are dramatically improved.My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. I was considering buying another car with better performance. But the result of this $500 upgrade is real bargain and driving performance makes it feel like a totally new car. This is the tune that VW should have used from the factory. Given the exceptional service and incredible performance upgrade, I can't recommend Avenue Garage and an APR enough. I'd like to give a big thanks to Ron and Kirk and the staff of Avenue Garage.Service: Auto engine tuning

nightmare and 8,000. dollars later my porche does not run. it feels missing running on five cylynders. they never checked plugs dist. cap or wires. they were telling me they need to pull the motor. i have had dozens of collector cars and i have never been ripped off like what i have gone thru

Best experience I ve had with a garage and getting my car fixed! And great mechanic for MINI/BMW. They were able to diagnose the issue and get me on way in a matter of 1.5 working days. High standard for parts and labor at a reasonable price! Not trying to scam you- I came in well below my estimate. Great people, who care about the service they provide you! I ll always try to take my cars to Avenue garage in the future!EDIT-Two months later, I then needed an additional repair from the dealership that I thought was done at avenue garage (it wasn t!) but they were generous enough to pay for it to be done (at the dealership!) anyways, since they missed it. As well as my oil change. Such kind and not scammy people who really stand behind their work. HIGHLY SUGGEST!

I went to fix my AC I was told a few days to check it, which was fine with me. The next day I was called with a price and the parts came in the next day. I was surprised in two days it was done. Love my COLD AC!

I took my 1973 VW Bug to get some electrical work done. The work was done professionally, with care for my antique car. The service manager, Ron, was very courteous, keeping me updated with progress. They even washed my vehicle for me, as it had been sitting for over a year. Went to Avenue Garage Inc the first time this past week. The place is tucked way back in the corner of a very small Street. The garage looks like any other mechanics garage except, that it is surrounded by high profile, very expensive foreign and domestic cars. However, what sets this garage apart from all the rest that I've ever done business with is there customer service. I spoke with Kevin when I arrived. he explained in detail the process of which there were going to take with my car and I would get a phone call before any work was done. He kept his word. Explained what needed to be done and gave me different options on all of it. not once did I feel like he was trying to up the price or to do something that didn't necessarily need to be done. He was courteous, he was extremely knowledgeable and I will never take my car anywhere else as long as I live in Port Charlotte that's for sure. Thanks again to Kevin and his staff, your awesome!J

First time customer recommended by a friend. I called in on a Monday and spoke to kirk, seemed like a nice guy and I felt he would look after me. We set-up an appointment for next day to get my engine light diagnosed. I came in the next day and met Kevin, he didn't even look to see if I had an appointment, all he said was what do you think this is our busy period we will try and look at your car. There were other comment's but you get the message. This is not the place for me I like professional relationships where there is trust. Cheaper is not always the best. I called back to give Kirk some feedback, he was good enough but backed his employee and said the appointment was in the books but was in small print so Kevin didn't see it. Kevin didn't even look, but that gave me a bad feeling about Kirk as well. Just my experience for what its worth.

Where do I start with this amazing shop? My car needed so much help to get up to par that I, was losing hope. But, thelevel of Professionalism from the first phone call to the last step of the process was outstanding at Avenue Garage and got me through it. I drove 3 hours to arrive at this shop and I can honestly say it was worth every mile. They provide such detailed reports of there assessments for customers to understand and that s matched with a high level of knowledge when it comes German engineering regardless of the year. They do good clean work and are fair when it comes to price. This is clearly a Top of line Shop . A biG thank you to Dakota, Yacco & Jordan! You guys are the real deal!! Thank you...

As a relatively new resident of Pt Charlotte, Avenue Garage has proven to be an oasis in an area where service is hard to find for my two Jaguars. The nearest Jaguar dealer is more than 40 miles away, so having qualified certified technicians in my neighborhood is a great asset!
