1st time doing business here and have been very impressed. Needed ac recharged on a Land Rover and they were the only shop who didn't hesitate on workong on it.Started on time and had job done before estimated time. Very friendly and professional staff. I plan on making A& E my new local repair shop ( hope don't need to see them too often). The facility was spotless, cleanest auto repair shop I have ever been to, the bathrooms were cleaner than at home. Waiting room was great too, coffee, wifi, everything to make your wait comfortable. Give these guys a try you won't be disappointed.

I hate having to deal with automotive services and repairs, but the needs of my car overshadowed my distaste. I was referred to A&E Auto Repair by another shop who felt my car needed services he could not accommodate. What a wonderful chance that he referred me to A&E.I was greeted warmly and throughly explained what they could do to help me. Adam and Sheila, at the front desk, put me at ease making the diagnostic appointment for just days later.When I arrived for the appointment again I was greeted, by name, which was pleasant. . They asked if there was anything else they could do to assist me, and I mentioned I needed an oil change no problem and while they had it up on the rack, they could also rotate my tires for a very small fee.. Bravo!While the mechanics worked on my car, I spent my time in a very comfortable A/C waiting lounge, with excellent WIFI, cold water, coffee and plenty of magazines.When my diagnostic was complete, their staff had found the issue, and they gave me a couple suggestions and price quotes. Their proposal also included photographs of each area they checked. It was easy to understand, and easy to see the area they were referring to.I still have to decide how extensive I want to get with the repairs, but there was no pressure.It is wonderful to have this kind of experience doing something I normally dread. What a pleasant first experience. Very knowledgeable, upfront on pricing, transparent, and honest.Went in for brakes, provided cost estimate, only to find out that my brakes were well within spec and A&E recommended not to replace them. Will definitely return with all my vehicle service & repairs.Thank you A&E team!

In the past 3 weeks, I have had my wife's car in for A/C repair and I just picked up my Ram 1500 after having it painted. In both cases, A&E did an outstanding job. Marco is a pleasure to work with, honest and upfront about what needs to be done and the cost. I have recently moved to Florida and getting to know reliable and trustworthy businesses is always a process! When it came to service on my 2008 Honda Odyssey, I was fortunate to be referred to A&E Auto in Port Charlotte! Marco and his team have been great! Shala, their customer service person is great to work with and very accommodating when it comes to scheduling maintenance around their busy schedule! Very knowledgeable Techs and very thorough at explaining the outcome of their diagnosis. Highly recommend them!!

Very pleased from beginning to end. I have a 2014 Hyundai accent which would not move had no had power but would not move my son had put on a computer it didn't register for anything I took it to a&e I called them they were very nice on the phone to me I had it towed there and within it was a Friday and by Monday it was already fixed they called me explained everything how much it was going to be before they did the work and then at the end I loved the fact that they emailed me pictures of the work that was done as well as suggestions for what needed to be done. I was extremely pleased. They are fairly priced. I will be bringing my husband's truck there next week to be fixed.

A&E Auto Repair is THE ONLY place to go for all of your auto repairs. We own a variety of vehicles and are completely confident in A & E's expertise. This is a family run business that cares about YOU. They do amazing work for reasonable prices and they stand behind their work. Marco, Darlene and Shayla are kind, compassionate and beautiful people. They have an incredible friendly and efficient staff. We feel very fortunate to know them. Thank you Marco and Darlene!

A&E is A great repair shop, the owner Marco is great to deal with he has an awesome staff of friendly, knowledgeable people working for him. My tech Gary is my hero he did an amazing job getting my truck all fixed up and running excellent!!! I highly recommend this shop for all your automotive needs. Sheila and Marco are wonderful to work with they really help me out a lot. I bought a engine to have installed and they were pointing out to me the problems and help me get moving forward to having another engine return for replacement. they were fair with the pricing did the job in a timely manner and I'm not sure if I can find anybody else around would have gave me that type of service and care as they have provided for me if you have a serious issue with your vehicle you might want to stop in with them and even get a second opinion if you've already checked somewhere else to make sure that everything's on the up-and-up in the process where it should be for you the consumer. Moved to the area about a year ago and needed new tires and breaks. I called around for estimates and A&E was the most helpful and able to do in a timely manner. I enjoy the virtual analysis of my car and the quotes. They are always willing to work with my schedule and able to get parts for my car in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Used A&E once, and became a customer for life. Probably the nicest and cleanest shop in Port Charlotte. Everyone working was very nice. Car wasn't held up in the shop a long time for repairs like other shops we've dealt with. And the app they use to text updates and photos is pretty cool. Highly recommend A&E for repairs.

This is the best auto shop I have ever ever used! They have worked on 5 different vehicles for me now and always do an amazing job. Their turnaround time is fast, their prices are fair, and they are good honest people.

I had my entire rear end assembly removed and replaced with one from another truck. My truck had 223,000 miles on it. Broke 3 teeth off the ring and some other sloppy gears. Rear end assembly now runs much quieter and smooth. Great job!

I had to have my 2020 Ram 1500 serviced. After seeing the great reviews I decided to go to A & E. If I ever have a need for repairs in the future I would definitely go back. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I really liked how the mechanic came out to the waiting room to explain what he was doing to my truck.

I ve been in Florida for 2 yrs and this family owned business is the first that didn t rip me off in one way or another. They fixed my truck quickly and efficiently. Made suggestions for the future since it s an older truck. Didn t tell me this needs to be done now, just suggested things that will need to be addressed in the future. Very impressed with all people I had contact with. Clean areas and comfortable lounge. Had diagnostic test performed for a single issue but it also had recommended checks on other areas and test was reasonably priced. It will be my go to garage!!

front desk people were very sweet! my key fob was broken when I took my car in to be worked on, and I apologized upfront for the inconvenience. My scheduled appointment to get the key fob fixed isn t until this following week. again, I felt very bad and embarrassed to even bring my key in looking how it did. Upon checking out the technician came in and said I should apologize to him for having to even use a key like that. I m guessing that was his way of joking around but it didn t come off like that. He could have been upset with me for asking to have my oil percentage reset in my car, but I wasn t trying to bash his work or waste his time. I m very appreciative for his time and work but he seemed annoyed with my partner and I the whole time. he fixed my car though. Thanks.

It is a pleasure to do business with Marco and his team. Car repairs can be less than fun especially when caused by an accident. A&E goes above and beyond to do everything they possibly can to get your vehicle repaired thouroughly, in a reasonable timeframe for a fair price. I highly recommend their services.

I brought a 67 GTO in to have a bunch of work done to it and could not believe the service I got. They sent detailed pics before and after of everything they fixed and pics of a few things they found that I didn't see. Very Professional in my book.

My driver side window was stuck in the down position. They took me immediately and placed my car in their garage to get it out of the weather. Fixed it the following day. You can t get better service than that. I would recommend them to anyone!!
