I took a chance on this guy and will NEVER use him ever again. He shows up to do the job and 45 minutes later says he has to go to get a tool. I had to call him to find that out! He then tells me he has to order the tool and will get back with me when it comes in. A week later I call him and he tells me he has the tool and hasn't forgot about me but had a small emergency that came up. He would contact me later. He never called again. I spent 2 weeks texting and calling. He ghosted me and never contacted me back. Do not hire this guy if you want the job finished.

Stopped overnight at the RV park on the north side of the highway. When we got up to leave on this cold morning, the diesel motorhome ran for a few minutes then quit. Tried multiple times to start but wouldn't run. Turned over fine but wouldn't run. I called and they came out in about an hour. After just a few minutes, the diesel engine came to life and we were on our way! Thank You for the excellent and quick service!!

Highly recommend! Helped us with replacing fan clutch on our Tiffin class A diesel motorhome. We really appreciated his hard work in getting our RV repaired to let us get back on the road.

Did an excellent job. Responded to my initial call immediately. Set up a time. Got tied up at first job but notified us he was going to be a few minutes late. DEFINITELY WILL USE HIM AGAIN!!

I've been using David now for almost a year for all of my car work on my two vehicles and camper. He does a great job and works fast. He's always told me stright up what the problem is. I feel his prices are good for the work he does especially since he comes to where I am.

I was traveling back home on a road trip and my vehicle was overheating. I pulled over and called a few local shops but they were booked for the week. I was in a bind being in a foreign town. I called Hogfoss Mobile Mechanic and talked to David. After describing my issue, he already had a few ideas of what it can be. He helped recommend a local motel to where I was and assured he d stop by the next day.David arrived on time and checked all potential issues. He helped diagnose for any leaks with my radiator and related components, and helped fill it all with coolant. He did point out that my heater core and blender door acu will need replacing in the future. He let me pick his brain on many questions I had.I made it back home and my scangauge showed normal coolant levels the whole way.If you are in the area or if you are an outsider and in a bind, I highly recommend giving David a call. He will take care of you. Super friendly and knowledgeable mechanic.

Couldn t have asked for a better mechanic. I am from Houston and got stuck in Ponce de Le�n Florida and i was freaking out. He was able to diagnose the problem immediately. My fuel pump went out and he spent hours in the blazing sun trying to find the right part because my fuel pump was almost impossible to find yet he found it. I ve had my fair share of problems with mechanics just over charging or not doing the job correctly but he went above and beyond my expectations. He understood my struggles and was able to work with me. He was truly a blessing and I HIGHLY recommend y all choose Hogfoss

I do not recommend this mechanic, as he does not do his job, nor does he even answer his phone. His phone does not have a voicemail system, thus when you call, you can t leave a message. David does not return your calls, nor does he actually do any work. I have tried on several occasions to work with him and each time he eventually blows me off. Being that he is the only mobile mechanic locally to the DeFuniak Springs area, I really have no choice but to ask for his assistance. Each time I call him, he apologizes for not getting back to me and then repeats his irresponsible activities again.Don t waste your time with David, if he can t figure something out (which has happened on every single occasion I ve called him out to perform repairs on multiple vehicles), he won t tell you he can t help, he just blows you off.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

Called to have someone come out and check the wheels of my jeep after hitting a curb, he came out fast that day, told me the control arm was bent really bad. Said he would text me a list of the parts and a quote. Called him the next day and he said he was on his way to a part store and would call me with a list. I called twice more that day and again the next day trying to figure out what was going on, my call was never answered and I never received any follow up.If you need a mobile mechanic, call Seaside Mobile mechanic, they answer immediately and come right out, fixing the issue in less than an hour.

He works fast and can come to where you are. He has fixed a bunch on my Honda and Chrysler.I am always happy with the results and the fair treatment. Good at explaining what went wrong and what needs to be fixed.

Brian is great at what he does and an all around good guy. He gets the job completed very quickly, and his customer service is top notch. I would highly recommend Hogfoss for any mechanical needs.

We had a suspension part break on our 5th wheel and could not go anywhere. We were at the Shell station in Ponce De Leon, FL and ended up staying at the PDL RV Park next to the Shell. The owner of PDL called David and he came over the next morning (on a Sunday). David ordered the parts and as soon they came in he was there fixing it. He was VERY VERY cautious and careful when he was working on it. He knew what he was doing. Took less than an hour. We were on our way. Ohhhhh and his prices were beyond fair. David was incredibly kind and honest. He answered our phone call on a Sunday, gave us DIY advice to see if we could fix it ourselves, and showed up when he said he would. This business owner was a total boss. If you need it done he will not only take care of you but do it with care. We were driving through and our serpentine belt and pulley broke and he knew exactly not only what to do but what parts to buy and also what parts may have been affected by this incident. He was timely. We only lost one hour off our drive. He went to the store got the parts and installed them for us and we were off again. He is trustworthy and deserves to be acknowledged for his services.

Didn t give me a receipt, did exactly what he said he did though so I was selling an older Jeep and needed a few things fixed. Oil change water pump, thermostat etc, the thermostat didn t get replaced but everything else had been done. I appreciated his expertise but he lacked follow through. All in all he isn t a bad dude I just had ALOT of explaining to do for no other reason than this dude just refused to type one out.Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I called 5 auto shops within 5 minutes of my house and all said I needed to have my work van towed to them and they'd get to me at the end of the week. Called David and he was there the next day done in 3 hrs and cost me the same as the tow fee alone!
