Paul is awesome! Aside from that, he is a really great mechanic too!! LOL! No, really! Honest, dependable, funny, and a great experience all around. He's SOOOO knowledgeable that you tell him the "symptoms" in your non-mechanic words, and he seems to know what the car has before even looking at it (he's always nailed it in my case!) The best thing about him is how honest he is with his pricing. I had never taken my Volvo anywhere other than the dealership, but after becoming angry with their service, I took it to Volvo Stop and never looked back. If you have a Volvo, do yourself a favor and service it with Volvo Stop. Cannot recommend him more!

I had a great experience with VS; I came in one early morning with my limping Volvo without an appointment. Paul, the owner, took a quick look and got my car up and fully running by the end of the day. The price was reasonable; and most likely cheaper that a Volvo factory service center. He also gave me a list of suggested minor repairs. All-in-all, I am highly satisfied with the work and service. As such VS will be my "go to" service center.

Paul and his team are incredibly helpful, kind, and highly knowledgeable individuals. They consistently respond within minutes, which has been invaluable, especially during a few emergencies I've encountered with my Volvo. Paul's assistance has been instrumental in resolving these issues promptly. I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend him without hesitation. He also extended his expertise to assist a friend of mine as soon as she arrived. Remarkably, he never keeps me waiting, even when I arrive without an appointment. This holds true even for tasks like oil changes. He consistently ensures that I feel welcomed, offering coffee and exuding positive energy! I would higly recommend his services!

Paul and his honest team are a last of a dying breed. They provide simple, trustworthy and effective solutions to keep you and your European vehicle on the road. His shop VolvoStop is a great place for service, repairs and extras. He let me know the first day meeting him that I have a small mount issue that is covered under warranty. He said he would happily do it but it would be free from the dealership... I'm just leaving the dealership with the problem solved thanks to him.

Ive been dealing with Paul for several years. & I will say that last few visits have been horrible. Never again. He diagnosed my car 2 different times with wrong information.. he told me I needed allKind of parts & further inspection for my brake light on the first diagnostic. Sent my car to another shop & it only needed a $15 relay that caused the brake light to not engage. I confronted him & he gets rude, nervous & doesn t take accountability for his mistake.. not even a simple apology also the second time I sent the car for a A/c issue he tells me I need a new compressor & A/c condenser. Took it to another shop, it was a faulty wire that was tight under the bolt of the compressor. A quick 30 min fix.. beware, I wanted to warn people, a lot of his customers are older people. I m sure he does this to a lot of his customers.. every one have a blessed year ..Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

Paul and his staffs are the best. They always do their jobs above and beyond. They are friendly, responsible, trustworthy, and professional. We always do every oil change and part change with Paul for two of our Volvo, and never come back for the same problem. As a woman who doesn t know much about cars, I always trust Paul. If the part doesn t need to be changed for now, Paul won t let me replace it, he always try to save money for his customers. I highly recommend Volvostop to everyone who is looking for a real mechanic.

Paul and his crew helped me out. My mother's car( 06 Volvo S60 T5) was towed in for diagnosis for crank no start. He kept me involved, eventhough I was hounding him about my mother's car. Paul has a sense of humor. He told me that the tech said it sounded like it jumped timing. Paul told me worst case scenario bent valves (head job) or timing belt service. So, Paul told me that we can set the timing with a new timing kit and started and call me with the results. After some time, Paul call me back with good news that it was off timing and I will be ready to go by the end of the day. End of the day, Paul called me and told me that it's running great. As a precaution he told when they do big jobs like that, they like to keep it overnight and drive it again in the morning just to make sure. I said, cool. Pick it up the next day and I paid for it just in time for my mother's birthday. Thanks Volvostop

I found Volvostop about 5 years ago and I would not take my car anywhere else. I had to have my car towed and the place I was using had just worked on it and charged me over $1K and were now telling me that it needed another $1,200+... my son was waiting for the AAA driver, who asked my son why I wasn't taking it to Volvostop? So I had the car towed there and my bill was $350... a long way from $1,200 the other place was telling me. Since then Paul and his team are the only one's I let touch my car. The name is 'Volvostop' (and they are mad geniuses with your Volvo) but they work on other cars as well, including Mercedes and even my son's big Chevy Suburban. We needed work done on another truck (one Paul did not do... and he will tell you the truth always!) and were not sure whom to ask, so I said "ask Paul" because honest people suggest other honest people... he suggested another mechanic and that one was also terrific. Seriously, the only place to take your car for an honest opinion, great service and an honest price! They are also quick and efficient, which is great when you are dependent on your car and may not have other ride options available.

Finding a really good, knowledgeable, ethical, fairly-priced mechanic is a most difficult task. I am blessed to have found such a person in Paul, owner of Volvostop. They only fix what needs to be fixed and suggests service only when it is called for. And when Volvostop does work on either of my two Volvo's I know that it will done right the first time and the price will be 40-50% less than the Dealer would charge. I don't often write such recommendations as this, but I have found a real gem and I want all South Florida Volvo owners to benefit from my wonderful experience. I give Paul and Volvostop my unconditional endorsement and want to express my gratitude for a job always done right. If you own a Volvo look no further.... you have found your repair and maintenance facility. Cheers.

I have owned many cars in my life. All were Japanese or American. I was concerned about the high cost of maintaining a European car. Ultimately, I bought a Volvo and started to look for a mechanic who specializes in Volvo's. My good luck was in finding Paul and Volvostop. I have NEVER met a more honest person and businessman than he is. He not only told me what I did NOT need, he told me something that I absolutely do need and the dealer never mentioned. He was kind and courteous and a pleasure to deal with. It just does not get any better than this. He has now two more customers for life. Thank you so much, Paul!

Paul the owner is very friendly. He went over everything with my Volvo S60. He knows his way around Volvo's. Had my automatic transmission fluid changed as I've read online and he confirmed that the fluid isn't lifetime. He changed it within 45 minutes. It was a simple process and will take my vehicle back because every time I went to the Volvo dealership, they would take forever to service my vehicle and after it's done, they would try to sell me into buying a new vehicle by calling me everyday for 2 weeks straight. Anyways I really recommend VolvoStop because they are honest mechanics who only repair what needs to be fixed.

Nick and I recently bought a 1995 Volvo, we took it to Paul at Volvo stop after purchasing for him to take a look at everything and get it to a good place. He was really friendly and helpful, his team made sure everything was in working order and let us know about some work we would need to have done in the future.This great service led us to drive an hour an a half this week to come in and see them when our check engine light came on and a different mechanic was unable to help us out.We'd highly recommend the Volvo stop to anyone!

Paul's Volvo shop is the definitive destination for all your Volvo needs. And mine are many. Let me talk from personal experience as I drive a darling 30 year old Volvo 240 that I just had to have. Luckily she was for sale and Paul sold her to me at a very fair price. He continues to service my car routinely and he and his staff are fair professional and extremely honest. I feel very fortunate to have found this place. I was a bit nervous to own a used Volvo. I called and talked to Paul before I purchased my vehicle. He gave me good sound advice about what do look for prior to signing papers. Once I became the owner, he gave it a thorough "once over", honest, practical advice, and a thumbs up. All with confidence, experience, and a good dose of British humor. I'm actually looking forward my first service visit. I won't take my car anywhere else.

A friend referred me to this service shop and I couldn't be happier. I have a 10yr old Volvo and have been going to this shop for about 4 yrs; wish I had known about them from the get-go. I needed someone really trustworthy that was not going to take advantage of the fact I'm clueless in car fixing/maintaining and also was not going to try to upsell me to unnecessary things every time I stepped foot in the door. Paul and his team are great; look no further if you need an honest and knowledgeable mechanic.

Paul is the best and most honest mechanic I have used in 40 years. I own a Volvo and Lexus and would not take them any other place. Many times I have come in thinking I had an expensive problem and he has been honest in telling me what really can be done. I HIGHLY recommend Paul and Volvostop

Sent my XC90 in to Volvo Stop for the first.It cost me a mint, but that's my fault for not taking care of a 14 year old car.Paul is very customer service oriented and they are very thorough and responsive. The price paid was worth the value delivered. Head and shoulders over trying to get things done with a dealer.I'll be back for sure. Well done, Paul.

I have to be honest and say there is no better place to take my Volvo then Volvostop. Paul and his staff are top tier mechanics U will never need to go any place but Volvostop. I bring Paul both my Cadillac and my wife's Mercedes. We trust him implicitly with both domestic and foreign vehicles. If you are looking for a fair and honest shop to bring your car, Volvo Stop is the place to go.

EXCELLENT! EXTRAORDINARY! TOP-NOTCH AUTO VOLVO REPAIR IN Pompano Beach, FL! Even if you are not in Pompano Beach, worth the drive if you are in South Florida. Found this establishment online and have been going there ever since for ALL my car repairs and maintenance. I have been going there for 3 year or more now.Paul the Owner knows his stuff and he keeps his staff accountable. VERY IMPRESSIVE.Regarding diagnosis, I purposely have taken my car to 2-3 places for the same matter and been told it needed much more than it really needed. Even the price I was quoted and actually paid at one place was double what Paul at Volvo Stop pricing would have been.At VOLVO STOP they are HONEST AND WILL ONLY SELL YOU WHAT YOU NEED, NOT WHAT HE HOPES TO MAKE IN PROFIT FOR THE DAY. Paul and his team are the best at what they do, best customer service, best application of knowledge, and if you have a Volvo, most likely you care about quailty (since you picked a Volvo as your car) and Volvo Stop is the place to go! Thank you Paul for another job done better than the dealership. (and not overpriced and unnecessary fees like the dealership)

Paul, the owner, was pleasant, thorough and knowledgeable. Rich, the tech was also quite personable. I immediately felt at ease. I know these guys are reputable and trustworthy. My dad has known some of them for years; I came to Volvostop on his reference. With my recent acquisition of a 2008 S60, I will be depending on them to keep me rolling for many years to come.

I have bought an used 2005 Volvo xc90 and there was a Volvo Stop sticker on the dash from the previous owner. Paul has been able to provide me the repair history of my car. I have just done an oil change at Volvo Stop and Paul and his team did a free entire check up of my car. I strongly recommend to go to Volvo Stop. They are very efficient and well priced. I took my car in with what appeared to be a massive oil leak and was prepared to pay over $1,500 in repairs. After diagnosing the car, Paul told me that a simple oil change would fix the leak. Apparently, the last place I took it for an oil change left the oil filter loose. Not only are these guys experts in Volvo but extremely honest. Highly recommended!

Since purchasing my Volvo, I ve learned that not many mechanics know how to properly work on them. The experts over at VolvoStop are very knowledgeable about Volvo s and all their intricate inner workings. They took the time to explain everything to me and show me the parts they replaced. I appreciated the very personal service and helpful information. I highly recommend them for any Volvo owner.
