My performance repair shop recommended these people as honest and reasonable for a new cat-back exhaust system. I know nothing about exhaust systems. When I visited their shop, I was extremely disappointed in their lack of consultation. I was basically told that when I find what I want, I buy the parts and they will install them. ? In fairness, they did put my vehicle on a lift and told me what size muffler . But no recommendation for a muffler or resonator ? I still don't know what to buy, so I will have to shop elsewhere.

Truly a great experience! These gentlemen really care about providing quality services while addressing every question along the way. I would definitely go back for future maintenance and will recommend all I know to do so. No predatory tactics, just honest diagnosis and phenomenal communication. They had my car ready faster than I could even get back to pick it up.

EXCELLENT PLACE FOR AN OIL CHANGE!!!Just returned from Midas Pompano Beach. I did not have a reservation so I expected to wait "forever." After 10 minutes, my car was on the lift and being serviced. 20 minutes later, I was on my way home!!!The manager was EXCEPTIONAL.The service provider was EXCELLENT!!!I will certainly return to Midas Pompano Beach next time I need an oil change!!!

I had a great experience here and will continue to go back for anything my car needs. I have a lot of miles on my car and brakes are squeaking so just figured I needed new ones. They looked at my car right away without advanced notice and told me that brakes were good and I didn t need anything, no charge. Brian the manager and his staff were friendly and knowledgeable and best of all honest, I couldn t have had a better experience, highly recommend.

The best spot in town to service your car needs everyone is treated like family. kind considerate and fair priced. It never feels like all other torturously long appointments and wait times , They make it easy, convenient and affordable!! Will forever be servicing my car at this location

They will over charge you for parts Labor !then sell you REFURBISHED parts as NEW. They don t stand by their warranty. This location is in the business of taking advantage of their customer. If I could give a 0 star review I would. By fare the worst experience I have ever had at a Machanic shop. This location has 3 star overall rating for a reason.Not only did they charge me $600 or a part that WAS $160-$330 new. Another $700 in labor a miscellaneous charges. The part that they installed. Which they claim had a one year warranty failed in a year. Still charges me another $350 in extra labor! stating that labor charges went up. INSISTED they were doing me a favor by charging me another $350 to replace part with another refurbished Alternator so I could be back in another year..In total I paid $1700 for refurbished Alternator with no Warranty. I m very disappointed with my experience at this business. If you are African American or Hispanic don t waste your time. they will over charge you. Overall I tried to give this Midas location the benefit of the doubt, they still went above and beyond to make sure they could squeeze as much money out of me as possible. Brain is very unprofessional & looks for ever reason to justify his inconsiderate & condescending attitude with their customers. avoid this location at all cost. You re better off taking your car or truck to the dealership. Feel free to go to this Midas location if you want to get Scammed out of your money and pray to god your vehicle doesn t leave you stuck in the street after you leave like mine did.Services: Electrical, Engine repair, Vehicle safety inspection, Battery

I came to Midas for them to check my brakes all four brakes are in great condition but had to replace the rear rotors because of friction burn on the rotors good thing I came here instead of the dealership they saved me 500 $ thanks Midas for having some awesome truthful mechanics

I was advised that I should go to Midas after being told from Phil Smith Kia that my breaks were completely worn. This didn t make any sense to me as they are less than two years old and I ve only driven 2200 miles. As a young woman it is hard to know when people in this industry are trying to just make an extra buck. I decide to get a second opinion and Brian was beyond helpful. He assured me that my brakes looked brand new and that I had nothing to worry about. He made me feel reassured and told me that he treats his customers as if they are his own daughters- I believe it. They were fast, accommodating, understanding, and provided great service. I will be going to them for all future needs and strongly recommend everyone to do the same. Thank you Brian for treating me with respect and reassuring me that my car was safe to operate. Fantastic find!!!

Terrible experience, they haven t done the rotation of tires (which was included in the service) trying to make you pay more. Don t recommend this place. Very rude to women!

Well priced. Using their service for oil change and tires from 2012. Tough to beat. Prices. They started fixing up a bathroom 2-3 months ago and still have not finished yet, otherwise can not say anything bad. Be ready to wait 2-3 hours they are usually busy. I am scheduling in advance. Midas Tire and Auto Service, 1400 S Federal Highway Pompano Beach, FL 33062Midas ruined my new 2015 car's oil plug and filter. There are inexperienced mechanics working here.It is common knowledge to not over torque these components but they tightened my oil plug with an impact wrench and rounded out the hex bit so it cannot be removed anymore.I took the car to another mechanic who did not want to touch the car after seeing how rounded out the drain plug was, and said a new oil pan will be needed since they tightened it way too much.I had to hire a professional welder to weld a new nut to the rounded out oil plug in order to change the oil. The oil filter was also over-torqued, causing sealing and additional leaking issues.The car now leaks oil and cannot be covered under warranty do to these mechanic's errors. The car only had 10,000 miles on it when I first brought it in to Midas for a simple oil change, no other mechanics had touched the car since Midas did the oil change. This has now turned into a +$1,000.00 job.DO NOT TRUST THE MIDAS TOUCH!!!They WILL damage up your car with lazy mechanic impact wrenches on the wrong components. Something you will not notice until you bring back for routine maintenance.

I originally went to get my headlights replaced. They couldn t see me, they were slammed . Brought my car back a couple of days later with my husband, couldn t be more accommodating. Returned today because a cover for the engine was falling off, again they were slammed. The manager was very rude and one of the mechanics told me, just take it off, you don t need it. Since they were the last ones to touch my car, they could have spent a little more time looking it over. Went to Ford, got screws, and my husband fixed it. Will not return.

I took my car there for an oil change and asked them to advise on why my AC was working intermittently. Oil change was fine as usual. They told me my AC compressor was shot and needed to be replaced. Manager Brian made a phone call and quoted me a price of over $2,000. I had the AC repaired at Ft Lauderdale Auto Air for $107. I will never return to Midas!!Services: Auto A/C replacement, Oil change

We made an appointment for 11 AM. They did not take the car until noon. Went in for an oil change. They were supposed to do a service top off all fuel fluids rotate tires, and told us that we needed windshield wipers and rear brakes.So they change my oil and gave us estimates for brake and windshield wipers. My vehicle calls for 5/20 oil and they put in 5/30 oil. They did not top off fluids or rotate tires. I will never go back there again.Service: Oil change
