Lack luster, installed ugly USED brakes on my BMW and charged almost $1000.00 it would have been cheaper and faster to just go directly to BMW Pompano.

I have used John herbax family Auto for a couple of years. The prices are quite reasonable. The time estimates are accurate. Ihave recommended this place to other people and they'have appreciated this business.

Fair-priced, solid work. No corporate-mandated upselling to confuse customers who are not automotive savvy. Recommended! I spent 10 years in the auto repair/parts field, so I have some foundation for evaluating. Good idea to call before heading over, as there is limited space for parking.

Would not honor an advertised special for an oil change. Told me the owners manual specified a different oil and even though there was no remaining factory warranty to worry about voiding and a Nissan dealer had used the oil I chose at Herbeck's and they refused in order to charge full price

I recently moved back north. But they are the best in the area. Honest and trustworthy service. Drew is great and he does awesome work. I had used them for all of my repairs including some specialty work and it was all grade A work ! Pricing was always fair. Dont sleep on this shop if you want quality work done at a fair price then go here !

Highly recommend this auto repair shop! We were greeted with a very warm reception and friendly welcome. Very thorough explanation and prompt replies to our questions. They even followed up with us after our service! Great mechanics and advice given.

This is by far the best mechanic I have Been to in south Florida! Affordable, friendly and fast service! They even help with keeping my autistic son under control while my car was being fixed! John Herbeck's is the best spot to bring your car for repair. The shop is family owned and Drew and Jonathan take great care in giving their customers honest, outstanding service and repair coverage. The guys at John Herbeck's are 100% professional. From the guys at the service desk to the mechanics in the shop, I havw always been so impressed with their customer service, timing, repairs done, and honesty! They are amazing men! As advertised!!I moved to Pompano Beach from Ft Lauderdale July 2021. I've been taking my vehicles to Pep Boys for maintenance for years & to referred mechanics for major work. Much to my surprise, the mechanic I used for my cars would not touch my VW. Through Google search and reviews I came across John Herbeck Auto. I have been very pleased with all aspects of my experience from 1st contact , to the need to postpone, accurate pricing/ estimate, work performed, friendliness and knowledge of Staff ( Bruce & Jonathan). I would recommend Herbeck Auto & will definitely be taking all my vehicles for service in the future. SRB

Anxiety free auto service!John Herbeck s Auto Repair is a great shop. A problem with my car may cause me anxiety but where I m taking it for repair never does.This shop does great work in a timely fashion. They are honest and pleasant to deal with. They keep me posted on progress. My calls are returned and the work is reasonably priced. They have been servicing and repairing my cars for years. I consider myself very fortunate to have found John Herbeck's. Tell them I sent you. You won't be disappointed!

All I needed was an oil change and it was done within an hour. They checked a number of other features, and also gave me a car wash. I am very impressed by the way they treat customers. They also provide transport to and from their premises if you so wish. Courteous and very friendly. Most of all, they don't try to sell you anything extra.

I was Very Impressed with the professionalism & the attitude of Drew and his partner (cousin). They showed alot of attention to my problems I was facing with my collector Corvette.Drew and his tech team completed the repairs in a very timely manner and contacted me upon their completion.What honestly surprised me was the VERY REASONABLE Cost of my repairs.I will always recommend and utilize this HERBECK'S Auto Repair Team!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Got an oil change here. Two weeks later my oil light came on. I was about 25 miles from home. I called herbecks and was told "do not drive the car" . This was a Friday afternoon and I had to be in work in about 2 hours. They said to put some oil in it and I could drop it off to them and they could probably get to it by Tuesday. I said I needed the car today and they said "sorry, all booked up". I explained it was something probably wrong from the oil change and I needed it fixed. They didnt care. Funny though...had my HUSBAND call them and all of a sudden, I could bring the car right in. So I did. They didnt put the plug in my oil pan back in correctly. Not ever going back. My search for an honest, reliable mechanic, that respects women continues...

I am very very pleased with the work that was done on my 2002 prized Mustang GT. I am extremely perfectionistic about my cars. All I can say is my car has never run better since the day I bought it. It feels strong and powerful. I will always recommend John Herbeck's team as good and honest mechanics. This is the best place I know of and I know all the places.

I WOULDN T REPAIR MY CAR ANYWHERE ELSE! The first time I went to John Herbeck s Auto Repair, I was having a problem with my wife s Saturn. It needed a part no longer manufactured. I looked up Angie s List and found them. I normally find it difficult to hand over my car keys to any auto mechanic, I ve seen other shops come up with so many inexistent problems, fake repairs, overinflated parts costs, etc. This is not the case with John Herbeck s. It s owner, Drew, is knowledgeable, friendly, and an honest man almost to a fault. I have asked for something I thought and was convinced that needed to be repaired and he straight out told me I didn t need it, that all I needed was a 50 cent clip that had fallen off.To keep a long story short, after searching all over the place, online, aftermarket stores, junk yards, etc. the part was unavailable and her perfectly, well kept Saturn that looks like new and had nothing else wrong but a plastic part that broke was unusable. THEY MADE THE PART for us and didn t bankrupt us in the process.Since then, I ve been a customer for over 3 years, I have to travel 60 miles to get there and every time I ve walked out happy. In the past I used to do the oil changes in Jiffy Lube which was closer to my house What a rip-off. Every time I went it was something that converted a $30 oil change into a $450+ repair. I highly recommend you try John Herbeck s. I wouldn t even entertain the thought of taking my Grand Cherokee anywhere else. Not even for an oil change.

Wow this place is great!! I am very picky who I trust working on my vette. So happy my friend referred me to this place. My second time going back they all remembered my name and very friendly, honest, and accommodating. They will drop you off and pick you up from your home while your car is being serviced. Washed my car for me and gave me honest feed back with what I should do .. not trying to rip me off or have me paying for stuff that was unnecessary. Thank you,Bonnie

they all speak with forked tongues!! one year later I still have no power steering after over one thousand dollars!! see you in court!!!!! The last mechanic stole my center caps and glued on his because they didn't fit...what a mess now I can't even find the ones like I had 2006 Hemi-the owner took no responsibility towards anything ----- SCAMMERS

Great garage. In one year they have fixed a couple flats, changed a battery, done couple oil changes, fixed a steering fluid leak, and fixed some oil leaks on my 2011 Subaru.

Honest, reliableWe had a quote from our long time mechanic to fix an ac issue on our box truck for $ 3000. We decided to see who else was in the area and after much research and seeing the reviews we took a chance on John Herbecks. To our pleasant surprise the final bill was $ 850! Our ac blows cold, we didn't need a new compressor or other items that our long time mechanic insisted we needed.We are now a John Herbecks client for our fleet!

I owned two junk yards and a used car lot for many years before moving to Florida so I"m an expert when it comes to car repair. Anyone who is not an expert should get their car fixed here. Almost all the repair places in Florida over charge and do more work than necessary. Most people are forced to rely on the honesty of the repair shop and the repair shop naturally wants to make as much as possible everyday. It seems to me Drew is more interested in long term relationships than most shops and is very straight forward and honest like his logo says! My expert opinion, don't get ripped off give this shop a try, it's really 5 stars.
