These guys are nothing short of phenomenal!!!! They know their stuff & they do good work. They provide consistent & timely updates so you re not just left wondering or going crazy. They also speak to you as if they re an older cousin or sibling. They re very cool & explain everything. Any question you throw at them, they have an answer & they also provide recommendations based on what you re looking for. So you have an understanding of what you re getting into & don t feel like you re getting ripped off or giving your car to some shady shop/people.Not the cheapest, however rest assured that you re getting very very very very quality work done. Every dollar you spend with them, is well spent.I have an 18 Challenger RT 5.7 & I experienced the dreaded hemi tick & lifter failure. I went back & forth searching shops & trying to get quotes for a month or 2 before bringing my car here. Given my finished product, I don t think there s another shop down here that could ve come close to what they did/do.I now have a 6.4 block & intake manifold, along with a stage 1 nsr custom grind cam, & they even threw in a beautiful cold air intake that I hear whistling whenever I press the gas.Prior to this job, my 5.7 only had Long Tubes, catless mids, & Catback exhaust, so not much power above stock. After their install & tuning I now have a 6.4 pushing 476 to the wheels!!!! They literally gave me back a brand new car lol.Even after the job was done, I had a very minor issue. Minor because it didn t cause a check engine light, nor any drop or differences in performance/drivability. But a minor issue or whistling/whirring sound that I could hear coming from somewhere near the engine. There was no runaround or games with fixing the issues. They had me drop the car back to them & the issue was fixed the same day at no cost.The car is a monster & I m very glad to have brought my car to American Muscle Performance!!! Included is a pic & sound clip of the new 6.4. Overall very satisfied!!

I ve been looking for a quality speed shop for my Gt500. Recently had an issue that 5 other mechanics miss diagnosed. Took my pony to Tommy at American muscle and they diagnosed it very quickly. The cost to fix it was good but the work was awesome!!! These guys are my new go to shop. A real pleasure to work with. Thank you Tommy for fixing my BEAST !!!

I live 2 hours away I called the shop explain what I was looking for Tommy worked up an estimate made a date and I was amazed when I got the car back. The team went over detailed the engine bay. Very professional

I wouldn't take a mopar to any other shop in FL. AMP built my challenger RT into a monster, including- swapping my 5.7 for a 392, MMX camshaft, big brakes, headers/midpipes, cold air intake, catch can, hellcat clutch, and then dyno tuned everything. The end result exceeded expectations. The exhaust note is unreal with the new cam and exhaust, especially at idle. It's an entirely different car in the best kind of way.More importantly, AMP did a great job of explaining my options after I told them my budget. They never pressured me to purchase more expensive parts and even discouraged me from other expensive upgrades.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine tuning, Auto brake repair, Auto exhaust system replacement

Spoke to Tommy, got a quote the same day whereas other shops didn't bother to return emails or messages. Took a few weeks to get parts but got appointment shortly after everything arrived. Tommy was very helpful with his recommendations, car was completed timely and exceeded my expectations. Well worth the 3.5 hour drive!!! Higly recommend American Muscle Performance!!!!

I don t let anyone touch my car! These guys don t cut corners and they are honest! Located about 2 1/2 hours away but the only performance shop that I knew would take care of her. Tommy was a great guy. Really put the time to keep me updated and was flexible working with me dropping off and picking her up! Took pics and video. He also was very informative as well! Brought my car to American Muscle Performance for some major engine repairs. Scott, Tommy, and their techs were amazing on all aspects of the work. They took great care of my car. Kept me updated on the work, and finished in an extremely timely manner. They will be the shop I use for all my vehicles.

This place has been a life saver. Had my car with another shop that had it for 5 months and did basically nothing. So we parted ways and I need to find somewhere to take my car to finish the install and the rest of the build on very short notice. I called around and was told by most that it would be 3-4 months before they could even take my car. I spoke with Tommy and told him my situation. He allowed me to store the car at his shop until they could work me into the schedule. So far communication has been great and the whole process has been laid out every step of the way so that I know what to expect. I am excited to see how the final product will come out because there has already been so much detail in everything that I know I found the right place for my baby.

I m truly new to this review thing, but I had to write something because the way I was treated at American Muscle is unbelievable they treated me like family and especially Tommy. These guys are amazing. I added cold air induction, headers, and performance tuned Camaro SS. It was first Mod project and they listened to me, gave great advice, and stepped me through the process with great customer service. Scott and his crew are the best in the business. Other shops that claimed to know what they were doing had my car for over 2 years draining my bank account and destroying my car to the point where it wasn't drivable. I finally found American Muscle Performance and they did a complete overhaul, making 1,100 rwhp and driving like a dream. They gave me hope when i gave up and turned my nightmares back into dreams that became a reality! Thanks for everything!

I picked up my 2016 Challenger Hellcat on Christmas Eve. It has felt like Christmas morning every time I drive it. I cannot say enough good things about Scott, Chris and the guys in the shop. Everyone was great and treated me like a long time friend. A couple of months prior Scott took the time to talk to me on the phone about what I wanted to do as far as tuning. After asking me some questions he suggested the perfect package for me. They explained everything to me thoroughly and answered every single question I had. They can literally take your muscle car to whatever degree you want to go to. Just walking around the shop you will see some incredible cars being taken to the next level. I told them if I lived nearby I would be there on my days off just watching cool stuff being done to hot cars. In short, taking your car to American Muscle Performance is a decision that will being a smile to your face every time you step on the gas and blow past someone (safely of course). Took my car there and they were AWESOME!!! They gave more life 2 her....she rides smooth like butter!! I was having a hard time finding a GOOD permanent place for regular maintenance and now I think I have one! A little on the expensive side but if u wanna keep your Hemi rolling this is the place to take it... So far so good! Very nice ppl @ AMERICAN MUSCLE Thanks Guys!!

10/10 absolutely the best experience I've had with a shop from start to finish, from the owner taking the time to email me with any questions/concerns i had in a timely manner to Mike at the WV location doing the work professionally and even taking into account my busy schedule. Tommy and his team took great care of us with a really unique situation with our 2011 dodge ram engine rebuild.We had a challenge finding a part that was needed, and he was a great help with helping to find the best resolution as well as storing the truck in the meantime for a very reasonable fee.There were a couple hiccups along the way, which were totally subjective.I would not say the concerns were worth mentioning in detail because it is unique to our situation and in my opinion does not reflect poorly on the services rendered.But I do include this because the issues were addressed and resolved right away, and they made sure that we drove away satisfied with the work that d been completed on our truck.It was an expensive project, which goes without saying, given it is engine related. BUT Tommy made sure to assist with choosing the most cost efficient routes to knock it out.I can confidently recommend this shop for anybody specifically looking for repairs and work on Mopar or other American vehicles.As a side note, if you plan to store your vehicle there for more than a week, it is worth it to request a spot NOT under the trees, if possible. We had to spend quite a bit of time getting the gunk off of the truck when she came home.Service: Engine repair

Well i had the ohh so common Lifter failure on my Jeep Srt 6.4.. I was upset and confused when i called over to the Amp! Had my car at the dealer and they called and told me about this failure and that it would cost A LOT of $$$$. I called Amp and spoke w Tommy (Guy know s His stuff) he explained everything to me and Kinda made me feel a lil bit more comfy w the situation! I asked him to prepare an Est for me and pls call me when he has it, sure enough later that afternoon i had a call and an est! Not only was it also almost HALF THE PRICE of the dealer s Quote , It was with after market (Better/Stronger parts) and it also inc. a custom dyno tune for my Engine and transmission.I have used Amp before for oil changes , brake fluid flush s and some Suspension issue s and always have had amazing service done by them!Made an Appt. Dropped her off and the wait began for me to have my Girl back in my hands , Couldn t wait! Couple a few 10 days later she s all done i go get her and Wooowiee! 1st thing i noticed was a Spotless engine bay and then i saw that they even painted a few parts while they were out to make for a very clean and fresh appearance. All fixed and better then ever! Brandon worked on her, tore it down and put her back together He went over everything w me and made me feel extremely comfortable about what to expect from here on out! Ok so the good stuff , All new parts Installed great but then Chris the Madd tuner plugged his Laptop in and did some Magic. On the street and then the dyno and bamm bamm My Gurl Run s and drives sooo much better w his engine and trans tune , like light years over the factory tune! Best part about it is that i Picked up some 50+ Awd hp at the wheel s!! Can t say enough about these guy s Scott, Chris, Tommy, Brandon and all the guys over at Amp are Exactly what you want and need working on your Mopar and Gm cars! Whether it s a Simple oil change or a Full 1k Hp build this is the Place, Look No More!Had to leave this review , Down here in S Fla it s hard to find people that are as passionate about your car as you are ,these guys and this place is the Real deal! Scott and his crew are amazing!!!! Scott walked me through the installation process of the pro charger installed in my 2019 charger 392 as well as educated me on how it works and what I can expect performance wise once the pro charger went in. I ve had my car back for 2 weeks now and I ve never been more satisfied. Any further work I do to my charger will be done here. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get professionalism and great detail to work!!!! These guys are the best!!!!Service: Auto engine tuning

It should say something that I travel from Port St. Lucie to Pompano Beach to have American Muscle Performance work on my car. A previous vendor sold me a cam that ended up too radical for every day street driving. And now that PBR is closed I didn t need to "rock" at red lights. When I talk to Tommy about the problem, I said I didn t want to go back to a stock cam and I wanted to maintain as much horsepower as possible. Tommy and my mechanic Frank, who I know of from Pavlock Motorsports, put together a solution that made my car much more drivable and with their expertise in tuning I didn t lose any rwhp. The cam swap was perfect. Went through without a hitch. They re really the only ones that I will have work on my car.Service: Auto engine tuning

My experience with Scott and his team here at AMP has been truly great, they are honest and knowledgeable and really listen to your needs. They where extremely patient with what ever question I had and gave me there honest opinion. I started off with long tube headers and have been coming back ever since, I have recently upgraded to a ProCharger! There isn t another shop I would trust with my car for those looking for a clean professional and honest shop don t look any further and give them a call.

This small business consistently goes above and beyond to meet and exceed expectations. I've had them work on my car on several occasions. I have ALWAYS left their shop feeling confident in their work. They work quickly and efficiently, always having the car done earlier than expected while still taking the time to do the work properly. I highly recommend them. From basic maintenance and small jobs to the upper echelon of power, these guys have you covered.

i m definitely going to bring my car here again for any mods in the future. they just installed my long tube headers on my challenger rt, and did a great job. I highly recommend this shop if you need any work done to your mopar. only thing that was a bit off was the quote for headers install I got on the phone vs the quote I got in person. the quote in person was a lot more than the quote on the phone but they had to do a lot of work to my mid pipes to grind the welds from previous owner off and make it all fit so they deserved the extra money. great shop overallServices: Exhaust, Auto engine tuning

Came here for a long tube header installation on my Challenger. Honest pricing and great service. After installation I felt a slight vibration when turning, the guys let me bring it back in immediately and adjusted the headers to perfection no charge, and no further issues at all. If you are like me and stress every time you hand over your pride and joy to a mechanic, come to AMP. I have zero concerns when working with them and know my car is in good hands.

The best choice I have ever made with all my cars was to take my 2013 ram 1500 to American muscle performance! I had a cam shaft that was shot and needed a full top end rebuild and decided to add a vvt custom grind cam along with my headers and tuning. American muscle is a shop who didn t try to up sell me who called with updates who took the time in the office to explain everything I was doing and point me in the right direction for performance and all around rebuild of my motor. She sounds mean! Drives great and power band rips! I don t think there is another shop I will ever go to again! Thank you guys for everything!

I would like to thank Scott and all the guys at American Muscle Performance. I just took delivery of my car a 2010 Challenger RT Classic that I had a fully forged motor built for including a Pro Charger and long tubes and a cam to say I m happy with the way it came out would be a understatement not only does it exceed all the performance capabilities I expected but the craftsmanship is second to none !! I was a nervous wreck dropping my car off knowing all that was going to be done to it and the potential of getting a beat up car back as happened when I dropped it off at Maroone Dodge for a simple brake fix. Maroone had my car for 24 hours and the mechanics put a half dozen pressure dings on the top of the fenders from leaning over it to work on it and it was also given back to me a greasy mess . When I got the car back from American Muscle Performance the car was as clean if not in better shape than when I bought it new . I highly recommend these guys for any type of work your having done to your car they are without a doubt the best experience I ve ever had with any type of mechanic / Hot rod shop . I called Scott to thank him again the other day and promised when all this world craziness is behind us I ll be back for more .

Active exhaust fixed done here! Quick install, staff was extremely friendly and professional. Scott the owner is respectful and honest, which is a trait not many auto shop owners have anymore. Joe who installed was car was great. Would recommend this shop for anyone looking to get work done for your Hemi or Hellcat.

I've had an issue with my s/c hemi motor for a long time. I had taken it to at least 5 other shops across the country(literally) and wasted thousands of dollars trying to get it fixed. No one could figure out what the fueling tuning issues were. Trying to find someone local went by google reviews, and came across AMP. They have five stars for a reason. The were extremely professional, clean shop, in house dyno. They were able to pinpoint and fix my issues within a few days. Car is now running perfectly, and they were extremely reasonable with their rates.If you're not sure where to go, know that they are a high quality shop and great people to deal with.

We started using American Muscle Performance for PCM unlock services for our customers and we have been very satisfied. Quick turnaround time especially when we were getting ready to go to the track they made sure we had the PCM back in time for our tuner. So I was recommended here by my friend, and was not disappointed at all! I have had work done at another shop and had issues that were never fixed not only did they fix a problem they did EXCELLENT work on my Challenger. I will continue to give them my business.
