Advance Auto Parts Plantation has lost my business entirely due to their abysmal customer service. The team seems competent, but clueless on how to handle a client. It s disappointing to see such incompetence from a company of this size

My battery failed and I went to this place on Dec 14 for a battery test after hearing from an ad on the radio but nothing happened because the tester was broken they said. I don t know if was true or not. So I decided to go to a competitor store very close and I received great service. Note. After testing My battery, starter and alternator were good.

I needed to replace my wipes since we were heading to the NE and lots of rain/snow was expected. Came here since they advertise they install the wipers for free. Bought wipers and when the associate tried to install, he couldn t figure out how to do it. He went in to ask for assistance from his colleagues and no one wanted to help because it was lightly raining. When I explained I needed them replaced due to a trip, he said if I could figure out how to lift the wipers, he could install them. I would expect associates to be trained on this if it s a service being advertised. I ended up returning the wipers and left. Although the associate was friendly, there was little effort to problem solve the situation or provide a level of provide customer service you d expect when specifically advertising free installation. I will not be returning.

I had a flat tire and was extremely late to work. I needed immediate assistance and that s exactly what I got. Management sent the word down to Mitch who changed my tire at nascar pit speed. Very appreciative of these men who could have told me to wait in line but understood the situation and got me out of there quick. Will be going back for all auto issues from now on.

Janelli-- is a disasterI came into the store on July 5th, 2020 23 and left the store around 3:40 p.m. Janelli was in the front of the store reprimanding one of the employees that was on the register in front of approximately six customers including myself. I found her behavior to be condescending rude disrespectful and uncouth. She was yelling at the employee and this employee had a look on his face of being terrified. As an investigator currently working at the local sheriff's office it is very evident to me that Janelle lacks people person skills and managerial skills. You can tell that she has likely been passed off from store to store and this may be her last destination. When the customers cleared out of the store I had a conversation with janelli in front of her counterparts and advisor of her actions. Her mannerisms and demeanor was that if somebody that did not care about what I was saying nor her job. My father and a mechanic that everybody in the store knows comes to the store often and they all have had negative reviews about Mrs Gianelli/Janelli. My counterparts that have come into the store said that you could tell that she was reprimanding them for something that had occurred earlier in a retaliatory type of mode. Corporate truly needs to do something about this.

I needed my brake lights and wipers replaced so I stopped into this shop. The young man who helped me was super professional and helpful. His name is Sean....ask for him if you ever need help with your car!

Alot of products they carry are not available. They sold me wipers that were wrong sizes and then had to wait 29 min for an exchange. WONT be going back.

Due to convenience I've gone to many different Advance Auto Parts or other shops, but this one is definitely the best! For the few things that I need, they always have it and the service is truly the best. The staff are so friendly, enthusiastic and they actually care, they even give a helping hand when it comes to checking something out or changing wiper blades. I would definitely recommend and I am glad this store is close by.

I purchased Peak Blue European coolant to pick up in store as I needed it immediately. my wife goes there to pick up the coolant and bring it to me for them to pull a coolant bottle for Asian cars. Clearly they shouldn't be working in an auto parts store and clearly they cannot read either. Their inventory shows they have 5 in stock and they had 0 in stock. on top of that they didn't even want to call another store to see if they have it. look at the pictures for reference they all have what mixture they are for

I needed a new Optima battery for my Jeep and Richard did a super job finding the correct battery giving me a military discount, and installing it. He also identified a potential future problem with the alternateor. He was very knowledgeable and professional and made my experience at Advance Auto exceptional.

Had a wonderful Customer Service experience with assistant Manager Shantal... Soooo Kind and helpful!!! she ran a digital diagnostic checkup of: battery starter and alternator (something Autozone couldn't do)and even sent it by email!!! soo cool!!! Thank you Shantal

EVERYTIME I m here I m treated like family, management and employees are nice, even though a lot of the customers that come in here are A holes . My favorite advance auto, I ve spent around 6,000 dollars with this company in the last 2 years and I don t regret it.

I don t think the service can get any worse nine people working all hiding in the back with one person on the register 10 customers waiting. The one guy on the register is going out to do battery checks and windshield wipers, and to top it off. Nobody wants to do anything even remotely help.

Quality service here. Fernando was extremely helpful and polite over the phone and assisted me immediately when I got there. The store manager, Anthony, has been great to me in the past and Damane who used to work up front always knows the best way to assist with an issue. Great team and great store.Shout out to Mia as well for picking up the phone even though she is a commercial driver and doesn't work in parts. I definitely admired her desire to help someone even though I know that technically isn't her job.

Rich was very nice and explained everything about our dead car battery. He gave fantastic advice and is incredibly knowledgeable. He definitely was very helpful and gave great customer service. He was super nice about our little baby too and rushed to help us so we could get him out of the heat of the car. Best customer service we've ever received at this store. But also, every other employee stopped to ask if we needed helped while I waited inside AND one even offered to give me a chair while I held the baby. Definitely some great employees at this location that really consider everything.
