Great experience. Helped me get my boat trailer back in order. They made recommendations that helped tremendously make my trailer last longer and handle better. They helped me with my schedule, and even though things changed with my repair, they still got it done on time.

Great, great experience today at Davis Customs trailers. I was able to speak to the big boss Karen and she and her team had all the information and resources to fix my trailer right away the same day. Big shout to the whole team specially to the technician who was able to set the whole kit the same day and I am taking about the 2 axle, hub, brakes, springs, 4 tires, fix the brakes wires and also replace the trailer jack, plus also lift the trailer about 5 inches higher like I was asking for it. Uff I can not say enough about this great people. Very professional and acknowledged. Thank you Thank you. You guys deserve not 5 stars in my opinion should be 10+ stars . My GO TO when we are talking about trailers. Outstanding work.

I have nothing but INCREDIBLE things to say about this business. We were stranded and in a pinch trying to get home before the holidays and they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to take care of us and make sure we were safe with the problems all solved. So professional, generous, and kind. I will forever be so thankful for them and for how they took care of us!!!

Very unprofessional. Brought a trailer in to have a new axle installed. The manager and welder looked at it said no problem. Paid the deposit was told they would call in a week. I had to call them two weeks later. Brought in my trailer first thing in the morning. Called later that afternoon and was told the axle was built and the guy was gonna install it. Got a call 20 minutes later that they could not build it as they were not insured to build axles. Decided I would do it myself and now I am opening my own HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL trailer repair business in Zephyrhills. Opening January 1, 2024 come see TrailerMike.

They have good supplies pleasant people their yard is dirt if you have a boat trailer and you take it with your boat on the trailer you will receive it back extremely dirty my major complaint is they did cutting on my trailer and shot metal shavings a crossed the bow of my boat sinking into my clearcoat, .I can remove it with some hard buffing talked to Karen. She said she reviewed her video to see what she could fine never got back with me . and denied it happened there .Also took them two weeks to finish replacing two axles all she had to do was pay for someone to buff the front of the boat.

I had a bad experience with almost everyone I dealt with at Davis. They fixed my trailer months ago, I should have put the review then, because they changed the axels and the bearings etc.. there was some rust in the front of the trailer, looked concerning, I did mention it to them and asked them to check the trailer for safety. Days and days go by, a lot of calls and waiting then finally the trailer is ready! They confirmed everything is fine. Sadly after paying $900+ the axel was not aligned properly and now the rust issue that was never treated corroded further and is almost breaking, jeopardizing my safety and I will have to pay more money to get it fixed!!! I could have bought a new trailer and saved myself a lot of money. They are rude and very unprofessional. Don t read the other reviews as they can be either differentiating between people or the reviewers are inaccurateUPDATE:I got a call from Davis trailer, few minutes after I put the review!!! which I put only after I discovered the safety hazard, last Sunday!! should have put it after seeing the misalignment and the bad service, but I really feared taking my trailer and boat back as the treatment, as evident from her reply is not appropriate. This lady had the most threading tone, not an apologetic tone at all, as you could see from her reply below, compare it with the other review where the customer called them cluster F. Which is a language I will never use, yet their reply was sorry that you feel this way but in my case it was throwing all the blame on me without even inspecting anything. I thought of bringing the trailer to them again but after the threading tone and this reply i fear for my safety.I am posting pictures to show the SAFETY hazard of the rust that i clearly asked them to check and they clearly said it is safe but it wasn t!!!! And the axel that was welded is misaligned and it scratches the fenders!! Which I had to raise myself to avoid damaging the Tyers!This lady actually accused me of trying to bribe her!!! Really?? false accusation, bribe a business owner!! She said if I don t come back and correct the review she will accuse me!! This is inappropriate and we will report all that to the BBB. This is slander, discrimination and the pictures below and the trailer is evidence.I thought of going today, as I didn t at 9:00 AM Karen fired back and falsely accused me the customer of bribing her. Would anyone have gone back. I guess NOT

I went to them to buy new bearings and I said clearly that I needed a size 1 1/6 forward and back. I showed the seller a picture that I measured with a caliper. In addition, I showed them the entire axle of the wheel. The seller told me that it would be better to buy the entire hub and that it would be better and I listened to him but he brought me one that is 1 1/6 - 1 3/8. I asked the seller to verify the size because the trip is too long to return and he said that it fits. Unfortunately the part does not fit and now that I call they transfer me to the waiting room instead

I apprecite good customer service and thats what you get at Davis! Cooper is very knowledgeable about trailer parts. I love that he goes over and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. He is an asset to this company and a pleasure to deal with.

I usually go to Rentz in Hudson and I ve always really liked them (still do), but I had an emergency and Davis was the only place that made time for me. I needed to replace the mobile home axles on my equipment trailer in order to go help with hurricane relief in the panhandle. I had lost three tires with my current axles the previous weekend providing relief and knew that I needed to upgrade. I found Davis through Facebook marketplace when I was looking for new axles in a pinch. They told me that they could custom build me two Rockwell axles and have it done the next day. I checked with Rentz and they wouldn t have the new axles in time and they were $140 more expensive PER AXLE. I was hesitant to try somewhere new on something this important but I was really up against the wall in terms of time and options. So I gave Davis a try. They had my new axles done in a day and a half. It all looks good so far and pulls nicely! When I went to pick it up, my lights didn t work. They worked when I dropped it off, so I started working on them there in the parking lot assuming it was something they had done accidentally. Turns out it was really just my crappy old lights. But what impressed me was that Andre stayed out there with me for an hour and helped me until I was satisfied. He also admitted that he had worked on my axles until midnight the night before so that I could help with the hurricane clean up. I really appreciated the personal effort and sacrifices these guys (and gals) put in for me. They worked hard and were reasonable. As long as everything stays working, I will be back. Thank you Karen, Andre, and everyone at Davis Custom Trailers. I will spread the word.

The owner Karen is a good person. She runs the business with a high level of integrity.The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.I purchased boat trailer wheels, tires and a jack. I will definitely return and recommend to all my friends and family.

I m blown away by the customer service I received from Chelsea.She really knows her stuff and helped me with anything that I neededIf I need anything else, I know this place will be the one I visit from here on outCompany is lucky to have Chelsea as the go to person when you first walk into the business!5 stars to Chelsea! !!!!

Davis Custom Trailers is a fantastic resource to have in Plant City. Every trailer part that I have needed so far they have had in stock. The people at Davis are fantastic, everyone I have dealt with has been very helpful and pleasant. This is definitely the place to go for all your trailers, parts, and service. They are very busy, that's what happens when you have a great business.

I went here to order an axel. Its been almost three weeks. Never got a call back. They said one week. I called and was put on hold. Ever did get a call back. The reason i am writting this review is so the owner can get on there case about customer service. At least. My experience was nit good after one week of waiting. Not upset. But i will not go back to them.

It is the worst place, they give one price and when you come to pick up the Piesa, they charge you another price, so they ask for the deposit. It is the worst place to buy Piesa.

Bought these hubs 2/27/23 brought home they will not tighten. Called three times since 9am this morning to see if she could help but She is too busy. All I wanted to address my issue so instead She got into a shouting match with me. She says I was rude would not want anything from there . Now I will have to get someone else to help me.

Our experience with Davis custom trailer, their staff and owner couldn't have been better from start to finish.Their prices, professional workmanship and knowledge motivated my wife and I to drive our custom catamaran trailer from treasure island Florida all the way to plant city to have them do a complete overhaul.They added 2 new axles brakes wheels tires and they even threw in a new crank arm as ours had seen it's day. They went the extra mile for us and we will use them for all our boating and work trailer needs from now on.We'll worth the drive and will recommend them to all our friends and clients.

Save yourself from the big box auto parts stores and tire shops for your trailer needs . . Called in before driving over 45 min to a hour . Alicia took care of me yesterday and I was very satisfied with her customer service and attentiveness. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Fantastic quality and parts above the big box stores . Especially going and driving over an hour to y all . Well Worth it

Karen, Mercedes and a member of their staff assisted me with my trailer repairs and offered several options for replacement or repair. Their can-do attitude was appreciated and I never felt like I was trying to be sold on several upgrades. Rather, I was offered several options with associated costs and recommendations without pressure. This small business owner will always be my first choice and the top recommendation for fellow boaters. I m looking forward to working with them in the future to ensure the safety and security of my boat trailer is consistent, ensuring an enduring relationship of top level support is appreciated.

Would recommend this place to anyone! Called them up and they were able to get us in the same week. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem I had with one of our trailers. They communicated with us every step of the way. They even went above and beyond and offered my son snacks while we were waiting for our trailer. They stayed late to finish our trailer since we were on a time crunch. Once we got home we found something else on the trailer and they were able to get us back on their schedule right away and communicated openly about the issues they were running into and was able to resolve the issue quickly. Very professional. Wish I could give them more then 5 stars!
