False advertisement. Disappointing experience. Despite arriving at 3:30 pm for an oil change, I was turned away because the shop closed at 3 pm. The staff member's rude demeanor only added to the frustration. Rather than being greeted politely, I was met with hostility. Improvements in both service and communication are needed.I just walked out of here. I came at 3:30pm today for oil change, I waited patiently for someone at the register to come talk to me after I arrived. He comes and says WHAT DO YOU NEED with an angry and rude look and tone. I said I am here for oil change please , he said: NO WE WON T DO IT WE RE CLOSED WE CANT DO IT AFTER 3 COME TOMORROW BEFORE 3 YEAH .

This place is good when they re good, when they re not it s the most unprofessional operation. There have been multiple instances before I took the time to review. Many times I ve come in early morning and they say people have called out, haven t shown up when they re supposed to and they don t know when they ll be in ( multiple separate occasions this has occurred). They will quote a 4hr wait time for an oil change and actual will be around an hour (quoting long times to turn business away???). Today I called and asked how long the wait would be for an oil change, I was told should not be long at all today . I said ok I ll head in . I drove 25 minutes on a Saturday, arrived and the guy told me there is no way he can get to me today, because they lost 2 techs, and I ll have to come back in the morning. So you lost 2 techs within the 25mins it took me to drive here?? Then when I come in early morning y all tell me people don t show up and it s a 4 hour wait. I m not sure what the solution is, only management does, but this place is run like a circus. Maybe it s a matter or management understanding how to handle the hiring process better, to get better quality of people?? Not my job, but they need to figure it out instead of turning business away and wasting peoples time.

I tried to get my oil changed and the headlight restoration service - Bob (terrible customer service representative) said he couldn t do the headlight service today - nor could I make an appointment for any point in the future. Just a no , we re not going to do that service for you.So, since I d already stood in line for 30+ minutes, I asked him to go ahead and do the oil change - which (according to him) requires me to submit my driver s license. Since I do not want Walmart to have my personal ID information for any reason, I declined the service and left after wasting almost an hour. I still don t understand why I have to submit my ID for an oil change.The St. Pete Walmart Auto center scheduled my appointment and didn t even ask for my license. So that means Bob was either incompetent or he lied to me directly to my face. I ve read other reviews, and I don t understand how he s still employed.

I m currently standing here in the waiting room as I have been since 9:30 this morning early for my appt. It is now 1:30. I came in to get 4 new tires. I watched as they loaded my car on the lift and then they left it there for hours. When I finally asked they said they couldn t find my the tool to remove the lug nuts and that they called me. I ve been sitting in the waiting area right in front of the desk and they called me ..it s almost 2 and I still don t have my car. You may save money coming here but you re going to be waiting and you re going to feel cheated. Don t come here.

The rudest and most reserved team I have ever seen I tried to buy two new wheels after 1 hour they told me to get at another place today flat tire and same they told me it would take 6 hours to replace it,I m ask for the manager they told me is out two hours , in the end I forced to repair and finally got just one tire cause manager coming so good place, good price but they need clean up ..never again.

I waited 3 hours to get my tires put on. My appointment was for 1 hour. Threw my schedule off. If you have tires reservation be aware that the hour is only if nothing goes wrong with workers. My appointment was for 9 and at 10 the 7 o'clock scheduled people were checked out. So they were behind schedule even on their first set of tires. I couldn't get a better deal for the tires, though.

Visited on MLK day 2023 around 830am and was told they would not be doing oil changes till 11pm. Went back around 1030 and dropped off my vehicle.There was about 5 cars ahead of me. My oil change was done around 1230 pm. They also installed for no charge an air filter I purchased in the store. So it took about 4 hrs and I saved at least $45.00 compared to some of the instant oil change company's.Service: Oil change

Horribly mismanaged service center and rude CS agent. The guy told me I had to wait because I did not have an appointment. Meanwhile I had a 7 AM appointment and was already waiting 1.5 hours for 2 tires to be mounted. RIDICULOUS. The guy needs some serious customer service re-training. He does not know how to handle his customers. Also high staff turnover...the appointment scheduling system does not reflect staff availability. DO NOT GO HERE

I made an appointment a week before my service knowingi livedfar from this location. I arrived and waited about 2hrs, when I questioned why is my car still not been serviced? The answer I got was "sorry but we can't service your car today, we don't have enough staff" Now this is something that needed to be communicated before I waited 2hrs. Super disappointed with this location customer service, they didn't even offer me to re schedule or anything. Never again!!!

Don't bother making an appointment. I had an appointment for 11:00, got there and there were 4 cars waiting in line in front of me. I waited for 15 minutes and we never moved and no one came out. While I was waiting I found a Groupon for a place 15 mins away (auto service experts) that was $10 cheaper so I left and went there and had a great experience. Highly recommend them

I bought two tires in December and was not told about the road hazard warranty.It is now August and I WFH so I did not drive many miles on them.As you can see in the picture, there's a big crack in the side of the tire which is not caused by any road hazard. This is a manufacturer defect. The automotive center told me I had to pay another $130 for a new tire because I didn't have road hazard warranty (which this isn't road hazard), but didn't have the room for an appt during this time during a hurricane warning. So not going here anymore for the expensive "new" tires.

Will never go back. Only went because I was in a pinch I wanted to go somewhere that evening and didn't want to risk it on the tire I had. The older Manager with the white beard is super rude to most people and snaps back with his responses as if you're burdening him with needing service. I waited around 45 minutes for them to put on the new tire I ask him how long it would be he went out and was saying something to the guy, came back walked right past me like I had never asked him. I asked again on the eta and he said they hadn't even started it. I said just forget it I'll just drive home on the tire the way it was. Turns out they HAD started it, they had already taken off the original tire, so I had to wait another 30 or 40 minutes for them put the tire back on so with the initial wait time plus all that, I was there over two-and-a-half hours for nothing.

Scheduled an 11am appt and was advised even with an appt its a 3 hr minimum wait. Was finished at 2:30. Thats a lot of waiting for only getting 2 tires mounted.

If you dont have an appointment, you will never get seen. I came at 8am for one tire...I waited until 1pm they still had not seen me..I asked what happened they said they had to take the appointment people first and kept pushing me back because that is Walmart policy...I got my keys and left.They should tell people about this appointment rule so you dont sit there wasting time...

Very exhausted experience with Walmart car center at Pinellas Park. Poor management and customers service. It's very sad that we as a customer cannot expect nice and friendly staff at Walmart. You may find a minority of well maner and service mind over there. Just because some of your products are a little bit cheaper than others stored BUT don't forget that service mind is important as well! I would like to have my message delivery to a higher level of management so you should fix this problem which is a chronic and you are a big company. You must treat your people well so it will reflex to your customers.

The employees here are very rude,when I asked for a mgr,I was told Mgr didn't have time too deal with me,my car was 2nd in line too get a oil change, and when I came back from the bathroom,they had put 3 other cars in front of mine,I had already been wrote up,and the other 3 cars hadn't been,they were waiting in their cars too be wrote up,and they have employees standing behind counter,but when you ask them something,all they say is,I don't work in this dept,then why are they even back there,and most of the employees don't understand english,they just stand there and look at you ,this place is freakin unbelievable, they need too shut this place down,just for the way it's ran,and the way the customers ate treated

Avoid at all costs! What a process to get four tires for tires. I drive over they tell me they need the size that is on the car. I drive home I get the size I call back. I wait about 150 to 175 rings she answers the phone. I give her the size and specific product I m looking for I go on hold for 10 minutes, she comes back and says yes she has them bring them in bring the car in tomorrow and plan to leave all day so I drive two cars over which is a half an hour and I find out after waiting 20 minutes in line they don t have any in stock! Really I call at eight O clock at night the night before I bring it in you tell me you have some I ll bring it in first thing in the morning and now you don t ? What kind of a store is this?

Took long time for two tires. Could not get one tire off without breaking cap. Did not do tire balance I paid for, said he could not do it, dont know why. Never go back there again. Terrible.Aftet a few weeks I got a screw in side of tire, cant plug. Need new tire. Went to store as no one answered phone, called 6 times, I have hazzered insurance. At store rude man told me they were to buzy come back some other time. I called next day 4 times and no answer. I dont believe they want to give me a new tire.

The worst service ever! Every time I try to get a service from here they can t do it right now . Rude, unprofessional employees who just shoo you away. I had a flat tire and was stranded and they just ignored me and told me the next appointment was a week away do not go here!

First off, Bob and Michael should NOT be working the counters. They are some of the rudest people I have ever seen in a customer service position.With a company as large as Walmart, you would think the automotive service center would have better service. Purchased tires through Walmart and scheduled an appointment for install. Arrived 15 minutes early to find the place packed and only one person running the desk. Every time a customer asked about a tire, the guy had to go out into the shop to see if they had inventory. Every time! What ever happened to computer inventory?I finally got checked in about 30 minutes of waiting. Wife and I went grocery shopping. Came back 45 minutes later and the car was still waiting to be brought into the bay. In all it took 3 hours to get 4 tires installed WITH an appointment. To quote an old Seinfeld show, you can take the reservation, you can t HOLD the reservation. There are plenty of other shops I will use in the future. I figured buy the tires and appointment would get me in and out in 60 minutes. Not 3 hours.

Individual behind the counter was extremely unpleasant after waiting in line for nearly 15 minutes. No online scheduling for oil changes, no calls were answered the entire time I stood there, so unlikely that you'd be able to call to see if they're free. Seems like walmart chose extremely poorly in hiring someone who can't handle the basics of the job.

Not the first time it happenes to me. They always say they don t have time so i get to go there and wait at the door at 6:30 Am since they open at 7. No appt because i get to call them and they say appt is only for mew tires not for flat repairs. Today they didn t open till 7:25am and my car was put on hold for service at 7:30Am for a flat tire.Waiting and waiting nothing after several times taking to the front desk associate and would tell her yes will do it that was their answer. Late for work , my car wasn t been touched till 9:30 Am , they put it in for service and they didn t touch it till 10Am. Finaly patiently asking to the front desk associate they did it at 10:30 i was done. And the guy who did the repair very rude get to say yo next time make sure you get an appointment. I didn t talk to him , took my keys paid for the sevice and while i was about to leave one of the shift managers said we dont have staff that s why.Very disappointed and it is not the first time.4 hours wait to get a flat tire done at them.Got to lose my job hours and got me in trouble. Sometimes things happen. Been coming here for years. Went one day we no longer do oil changes due to some maintenance project. Went back today called twice!!!!! Yes we are open for oil changes just come between 10 and 1030 not a problem. I was like I have shopping Dennis goes we don t do oil right now we had too many call outs. Then maybe you should relay that info to the person answering your phone!!! I get it things happen but come on!!!! Drove all the way there and now I m on the hunt for somewhere new. Walmart do better for your employees. Do something to make them want to come into work. I understand things happen but there s something more that can be done

50/50 due to a disabled mother I cannot leave until mid afternoon for errands and sadly when I went they had no one in staff to handle oil changes. I tried to call ahead to verify and no one answered but when I arrived they only had one car in their garage. The guy was nice and informative.Just wish I didn t drive from Indian rocks beach all the way to Pinellas park to be told unable to service.But I was able to go to Take 5 and the guys there were great and quick!

I took my car there to get new tires put on. Took 3 hours. The next day my tire light comes on so they tell us to bring it back. Brought the car back a few days later for us to sit there for 2 hours and them tell me they don t know why the light is on. I took my car elsewhere and they found the issue in 20 minutes. Walmart broke one of my tire sensors. The time I ve spent trying to resolve this issue is not worth the lower price for the tires. I wish I went somewhere else. Avoid
