This was my 1st time using Platinum Wrench. It was fast to schedule an appointment, service was great for an alignment. The technician gave me the choice of rotating the tires but since they were basically too far gone he didn t really recommend it. I love that they didn t try to add on to my balance for really no reason! Great job all around!

Were having an issue with our 2015 BMW X5. We are not from this area and had no idea who to call. I began doing research for repair shops in the area and ran across Platinum. Per usual I read the reviews. However, unlike most folks I'm guessing, I start with the 1 star reviews. I want to see if the owner responses and if they do, how do they respond. I'm a business owner of a 53 year old company back home and I respond to every review. 5 stars and 1 stars. What i found with Platinum is that the owner understands that he or she isn't perfect and that mistakes will be made and the own up to them. We dropped the BMW off this morning around 10am. Got a call with the diagnosis around noon and the car was ready to go at 3pm as promised. we needed batteries and belts. 100% professionalism, from the moment we walked into the shop to the moment we picked up the car. Great customer service!!! In addition, the price quoted was not the price we paid. When we got there the gentleman let us know they were able to do the job for a bit less than quoted. $250 to be exact. Platinum is top notch, trustworthy, and very professional. Do yourself a favor and use these folks for your repairs. You will not be disappointed. Charlie Mac.

My engine was making a noise and went to a shop that told me I needed to replace my engine for $7200.00. I called Platinum and they quoted $5900.00. I brought my car to Platinum and got a call the next day saying my car would be finished that evening, it only needed a timing chain kit. My bill was only $990. Thank you Tom and John for your honesty!! I also saved another $450 returning the rental car over a week early.

I took my car to my local repair shop for a coolant. They kept it for a couple days and couldn't find the leak. I took it to Platinum Wrench and they found the leak within a couple hours. And I was able to get my car back that day. I'll be back for all my service work for now on. And recommend them to all my family and friends.

I had a great experience with Tom and Robert. They helped me understand the cause of my misfire and fixed it for a good price. I ve been having trouble finding a shop but I m definitely coming back to Platinum Wrench. Thanks

blew up my driveshaft on my 2007 bmw 328i and was referred to Platinum Wrench from family. they took care of it all!! felt like a new car again and it was quick too! the work they do is fantastic and the customer service is great. definitely will be bringing my car back if i have any future problems.

Pricey, but they got the job done, hopefully. Not sure what brand of parts they used because it doesn't show up on the receipt/invoice. I wish I knew the brand they used or at least list it on their receipt after I paid. I totally forgot to ask. If they respond, I will change my rating.

Had some issues with my car on a sunday.did research and found them.called up and tom said bring it on in.they looked at it and told me what was wrong and had it fixed.they were extremely nice and great prices.this is my new shop.thank you guys..ur awesome

My mom and I had car trouble recently our car had stalled on the main road on east bay drive, was able to pull into jiffy lube/Clearwater location. We had received a recommendation from Amy at jiffy lube about her grandfather shop Platinum Wrench. Triple A was very prompt to pick up our car to be dropped off Wednesday late afternoon. Platinum Wrench called the next morning ! We were incredibly grateful to hear back so quickly for a estimate and an idea of what had to be done. Platinum Wrench called back in less than a day to retrieve our car!!! I would definitely recommend coming here, Platinum Wrench is a very reliable car care service with decent prices. I needed a mechanic to repair my drivers side window which quit working. I looked up Platinum Wrench and they had good reviews. I spoke with Robert and he was very helpful and polite. It turned out I just needed a fuse. I was very thankful for the companies honesty! I have been going to Platinum Wrench since I was a kid so 20 years of service and also my family and now extended family ( my sister just got married) uses this shop as well. Hands down the most honest and with integrity!I ended up stuck 20 miles away at another shop because I don't live locally but work nearby and wanted a second opinion on the others diagnostic.When I called I was greeted as a friend, he remembered me by name ( my number was different and I havent needed repairs in many years). This is just extraordinary, I was floored I was remembered!My car was towed to his shop and taken care of fast and efficient and friendly as always. I cried tears people, tears! I have had vacuum leaks repaired/replaced, my brakes replaced & now I am getting my valve cover gaskets replaced. They are Very reasonable w/the prices & will help You out where or how they can. This is my first experience with an auto shop that has not tried to get one over on me. They're Convenient, Professional, Courteous and Informative. I have 2 brothers & a son who are master mechanics they all race cars. Shoot I used to race cars. My family lives in MI & IN so I can't take my Explorer to them. They would charge me almost the same as Platinum Wrench. Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean that I know nothing about auto problems. I think They are Great. Had 3 repairs done here. 1 repair was perfect. Second repair had the right parts for the job, but they did not put it in correctly; returned here twice and it was still wrong, so I went to another shop and got it fixed in 2 seconds. Third time was the biggest. I had brake lights on AND idle issues. They said radiatior was bad and wanted to fix it. No problem. They had it two days and returned it and it was pricey but I thought all was well. They told me brake lights were a bad sensor and it would be super pricey to fix. OK. I went to another shop and they checked it over: 1) brake lights were on because my system was failing and needed repair 2) I had a rear tire about to separate they completely missed and 3) biggest of all, the car broke down on the interstate the day after the radiator repair, leaving us stuck for almost 4 hours. When they got it they told us it was an alternator by coincidence (RIGHT) and even more money). The second shop found issues with that too after this repair. Nice staff and glad they are open Sundays, but for major repairs you are best going elsewhere.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Was assured if i dropped off my car it would be diagnosed in a day. After two days i called and he said they cant work on it. Mechanic said they were too young to know how to even take the key out of ignition. Didn't bother to call me or help in anyway. Left me stranded for more time than needed. The name Platinum Wrench scared me, but a good friend has used them for years and recommended them highly.I took my Toyota Prius there for a brake issue and they addressed it same day and gave me clear options on resolving the issue.The price was very fair, and Trevor was really helpful and took the time required to help me understand my options and the ramifications of each.I am completely satisfied and recommend Platinum Wrench in Pinellas Park without hesitation. Platinum Wrench took good care of me and my vehicle. They installed my compressor in 1 day and they went out of their way to find some bolts for my older vehicle. Bill (the store manager)has the best customer service I've seen in a long time. I will definitely be back for all my vehicle needs.

Had front and rear brake work done and all my brake warning lights and systems became illuminated within a week of work completed. Took it back and they accepted no responsibility for this new issue directly related to brakes. STAY AWAYService: BrakesService: Brakes

This business doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating. I cannot express how unsatisfied i am with the service i received from this so called "AAA" certified business. So much time and money was wasted with these unprofessional mechanics and the owner. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They definitely through a "wrench" in my entire weekend.I had my vehicle towed to Platinum Wrench on Saturday morning at 8 AM to have some repair work done. Needless to say, after what should have been a 4 hour job turned into a 48 hour job.I was given unrealistic expectations and wasted my entire weekend. The owner Robert told me countless times, oh, your vehicle will be ready in 30 minutes, 1 hour, close of business etc. It was clear to me this wasn't going to end well. When i arrived the 3rd time I was told by the mechanic my car would be ready in 30 minutes. That was a joke, i waited in the for over 2 hours. At this point, my frustration level was through the roof and demanded that they stop working on my vehicle and i wouldn't be paying for any services. After, my car was in the shop for 2 days there was zero work done and my car is in worse shape than what it was when i brought it there. The owner is unethically , the mechanics are inexperienced and have no communication skills.I am so disappointed with the entire experience. If i were you i would stay clear from this place.

For the past several years, me and my 2001 Subaru have been taken such good care of at Platinum Wrench. I know it seems like it's a fancy car kind of place but Bill Douglas at the front desk & Curt in the shop have always made me, and my super old ride, feel right at home. I've had all the usual, expected, sometimes expensive, significant repairs for a car so old, and they take care of all the routine maintenance and oil changes, too. When I needed new tires, Bill told me to buy them at Walmart, but bring them in so I had them installed at Platinum Wrench. When they keep my car for more than a couple of hours, sometimes I take work with me and set up a remote office in their clean, comfortable waiting room, and other times, if they've got enough coverage, they'll run me to my flat which is just down the street from the shop. The quality of their work is excellent, being open 7 days a week is a huge help, I know they'll take the same awesome care of you.

Had a tire patched on the roadside a few months ago and yesterday it was losing air. Was prepared to get a new tire but when we took it to Platinum Wrench they fixed it for free! Have used them off and on for years but once again was surprised and pleased by their service. Glad I didn t go to the dealer.Service: TiresService: Tires

These guys and gals are great. My starter motor needed replacing and they had me in and out in just over an hour and now my 2001 Dodge Caravan is working like a champ once again. I own a fleet of work vehicles and all of these vehicles go to be serviced and repaired at platinum wrench. Their pricing and service compared to many other shops in the area just cannot be beat. I also have a very expensive personal vehicle that I would not trust with anyone else. Highly recommend, five stars for sure!

I took my Ford Explorer there last fall because they were open on Sunday and my car kept stalling. I was so afraid they would find all kinds of things wrong with it, but they found the problem quickly, and even drove me home so I wouldn't have to wait there, and they brought me back! (We only have one car) And the price was right! They also put new brakes on a few months back and I am very happy! Definitely recommend them!

Came in on a recommendation from Honda. I needed my fender cover and undercarriage cover screwed back in as they fell off due to a blown tire. I bought the screws from Honda for $25 and went to Platinum Wrench and they were more than accommodating and didn't charge me a dime! I will definitely come back and service my car with them based off their hospitality. Thank you guys so much - you save me a bunch of money!

Platinum Wrench is the best place to take your vehicle for any repairs or maintenance issues. These guys are very knowledgeable about cars, and have great customer service. Not like most shops that lie about things needing to be done that really are fine. Very honest guys here. Prices good too. David C. is the best mechanic! Always see him for any issues and he gets problem fixed right and for good. Highly recommend Platinum Wrench!!
