Great service! They found out what was wrong with my car when no one else could. Zach was great, he helped me understand what was going on with my car and their prices were fair. I would definitely recommend them!

Hi my name is Juan After taking my van to a competitor called all tech transmission on Seminole Blvd and got totally ripped off in the price and the warranty and the van was never fixed properly they put in all used broken parts teeth broken on the sprockets. I took it emidiately to my mechanic because I new it wasn't working properly so my mechanic saw it was not working properly so they sent the my van to Low Cost Transmission thank God I found them they are awesome Sac and his team did a awesome job it's been over a month and my van is running excellent and strong I'm very satisfied and I got a 3 year or 100,000 miles warranty at Avery fair price and they replaced all the broken parts that All Tech transmission didn't do I would recommend anyone who needs a transmission repair you need to come to Low Cost Transmission on park Blvd Sac and his team will take care of you and your automobile as for the competitor All Tech transmission his court day is coming thank you for taking you're time to read this review again thank you

Brought the vehicle to get the transmission fixed. All of my equipment was stolen from my van that left on a unsecured lot with no camera access. To go along with that, my van hasn't run for more than 30 minutes since I got it back. My van now has issues that weren't a problem before bringing it in!

My Chevy Suburban hard an electrical failure issue. These guys diagnosed and fixed not just the alternator, but other belt issues my car had. They are professionals. Worthy to note is that; they asked me to come back after one week. The double checked every system the fixed for free. My care runs smoothly. Awesome service!!!

Where do I start? First, they attempted to rebuild the original transmission. That attempt took three weeks. When completed, it didn't last 3 days. Took it back, this time they said it was a pump failure. Now, going on three more weeks, they still haven't fixed the problem. I am now in financial ruins.Also, every time they said they would call me back with an update, they don't. Instead of simply replacing the old transmission with a factory rebuilt one, they continue to add to injury by not doing what is obviously the right thing. My next review will be with the better business bureau.

Great employees here they get your car fixed in as fast as they was able to never had a single issue with them when I called and spoke to one of the employees I think his name was Zach he was able to awnser all my questions and able to get my car fixed at a lower price then any of the competitors around.

I am so impressed by this shop every time we use their services. Zach is your go to guy at Low cost. He s knowledgeable about vehicles, always willing to explain things, very respectful (I ve had other experiences at other mechanics where men talk down to me relating to cars), and everyone else is always very nice too. Every shop needs a Zach.This visit we brought our 98 Toyota Camry in for shocks on the front end. They fixed it and delivered on time. The car drives so much smoother! We were advised we need a couple things done to the rear, but were advised it s not urgent and can wait a couple months. In past experiences mechanics usually fear you into thinking everything they say needs done is urgent and you should do it today. That is NOT my experience with this shop. This shop is upfront, honest, and does not pressure you into services.IF YOU RE LOOKING FOR AN HONEST, DEPENDABLE, AND AFFORDABLE SHOP THIS IS THE PLACE! Jimmy Thompson is the best mechanic around he knows his stuff and he won't lie or mess around. He's even helped my mother in law someone at another shop told her the repairs were going to cost 1k and it was because of such n such but they lied cause she took it to jimmy for a 2nd opinion and it was literally a $20 small part thing lol so if your ever in need or want a honest diagnosis and honest awesome mechanic Jimmy's your guy!

Zach and his crew went above and beyond treating my car as it was their own. Very knowledgeable about what they do. Trust worthy goes a long way. They Didnt try to sell me anything I didn't need like most places. Taking their time to assure to address the proper solution to you vehicles needs. Zac went above and beyond to diagnose and come up with a solution for us. We live in Mo and our young daughters car broke down we didn t know what to do or who to trust. Luckily or by gods grace we called a tow company listed on google they recommended Zac at Low Cost Transmission. The most fair & honest person we ve ever dealt with. I 100% recommend this shop and will use their service for our autos from now on 5+ Bob & Lisa Meyers. Thank you Zac!!

Worst mechanics. They have done such a horrible job on my husband s truck on several occasions , that he had to take his truck to another mechanic to have them fix what this place did incorrectly, costing us a lot of extra money.

Zack made sure to install the seal and bushings fit correctly Toyota Corolla, replaced left side seal as a preventive maintenance, gave me a ride home and offered to pick me up, discounted the price since it took him longer than expected to get the right parts, asked me to return a week for follow inspection that yielded no issues. I will bring my vehicles back for any repairs.

This is a great family owned auto shop. I called a day ahead because I wanted to bring my vehicle in because of a check engine light. Gentleman said no problem bring it in anytime. I did and they quickly ran diagnostics on it and told me it was the battery. They didn't even charge me for the diagnostic. The guys are very professional and know their stuff. If you have any issues with your vehicle I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

At first , I thought I d finally found a great mechanic shop, Zach seemed trustworthy and knowledgeable, but after a week of my car sitting they re to diagnose the problem. Was quoteed $2300 for a part that brand new cost $1k. They Didn t even mention what the service cost was Called the Dealership to find out that the part AND service for my vehicle, would be $1580 Immediately knew I was being taken advantage of.. ohh my previous service with them , coincidentally was also quoted at $2300, invoice excludes hours serviced on, and parts cost (of course!).Don t bring your vehicle here unless you want to be taken advantage of! *** BUYER BEWARE***Here s the typical scam rundown , after having my car serviced/diagnosed over two incidents.- parts on back order , hence so many vehicles sitting there for awhile, dealer won t have it for months- likes to quote $2300 here that number RUN!- can get a used part $300 less than new price but it s 50/50 it ll work- we fixed this , but now it appears that this other thing is broken/ not working as a result of fixing that.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

Highly recommended! A dealership tried to get me for 8grand for a new transmission. I came here and they found it wasn't my transmission, it was my torque converter. They were honest, knowledgeable, and way cheaper than anyone else. Got me back on the road fast. Thank's guy's, Jake

In life you need a good doctor/dentist.. a good accountant/lawyer.. and a good mechanic.. This is my go to shop.. I worked with my father (a certified Ford mechanic that opened his own shop) for the time I lived in Alabama.. I moved to Florida with no access to tools or a shop and found myself in need of a transmission rebuild.. this shop did the rebuild for a very competitive price and included a warranty.. AND within the warranty time I had issues (NOT WORKMANSHIP) and they treated me EXTREMELY fair. If you are looking for a auto repair shop that does great work at a fair price, definitely take your vehicle to these guys... The ONLY shop I would trust more is my Dad's .. But he is family and it is over 650 miles away.

Honest, good mechanic with decently reasonable prices compared to most mechanics I've tried. He will tell you EVERYTHING the car needs in repairs or might need in the near future. But he also lets you choose which repairs to fix first and I believe they even have in house financing for repair costs you may need help with.I would recommend trying them if needing a mechanic!

I cannot say enough good things about Low Cost Transmission Physician! My Dodge Dakota ate its transmission at about 112,000 miles. I am a disabled veteran and Hurricane Ian wiped me out, so I don't have a lot of money these days. LCTP undertood my issues and took VERY good care of me!The original plan was to source a good used trans, recondition it and we'd be G2G. The 1st transmission had pump problems. They got another transmission and that had problems, too.So...Zach decided to go ahead and rebuild the transmission and took every step to make certain that my truck's transmission was perfect. It shifts solidly, hums along beautifully and even after replacing some cooler lines and installing a temperature gauge, LCTP returned my truck to me for LESS than the estimate.From now on, Low Cost Transmission Physician will be my go-to shop!

Low Cost Transmission Physician on Park Blvd in Pinellas Park is the BEST auto repair shop! We have been customers for many years now and would not consider going anywhere else. Both Carl and Zachary are very knowledgeable and always take the time to talk to us and discuss any repairs thoroughly. They do everything except alignments and tire sales. They are accurate with their estimates so you have a pretty good idea of your final cost, barring any unforeseen issues. Carl and Zachary are honest and their prices are very reasonable. They guarantee and have always backed up their work. Kelly is very friendly and helpful. This time we went in for a steering issue and their staff found the problem right away and it was repaired while we waited. We highly recommend Low Cost Transmission Physician.

They did a great job fixing my transmission. Since I got it back everything has been working perfectly. They even had me come back in a week to make sure everything was still running smoothly. Great company, highly recommended.

Excellent service won't get ripped off. I brought in my 1999 Honda Civic to be looked at and most of the issues that were found I suspected before bringing the car to the shop. I think I got a good deal and I am happy that the shop is honest and did not lie about what needed to be repaired. The oil change prices are better than what I got quoted at other mechanic shops.

These guy's are good at there job . I don't normally trust people with my truck but I took a chance and have been satisfied. They where working on my 1995 ford f150 transmission and any problems that acured down the road they fix really fast. Very respectful and honest. Bless the people at Low Cost Transmission. My experience at Low Cost Transmission was excellent. I went there thinking there was a transmission problem which was diagnosed by a dealership and nothing was wrong with my transmission. They were very diligent in explaining what actual repairs my car needed. I really appreciate how professional and forthright they are. I now have a place where I can take my car for all of my auto repairs that I can trust. They have a very pleasant staff. I will be recommending them to everyone in St. Pete. Awesome customer service, wasn t charged to diagnose problems. Well priced and military friendly. I dropped my car off to get hoses, radiator, complete A/C lines and rebuild Transmission, the turn around was less than a week and the father gave me a ride home. The service you receive with vehicle repair turnaround time is the best I've experienced, overall this shop is top notch. The shop allows you to bring your vehicle in for checkups. This is the only shop I frequent.

Have you ever gone to a mechanic and feel like you just know they're ripping you off? Well, you WILL NOT have that feeling here! I just had the transmission replaced in my car and he's running smooth as can be! Like when I first bought him! These guys know their stuff, are reasonably priced and are really nice. I dare you to talk to Zach and not feel like you're getting great customer service. He's just as friendly over the phone as he is in person too! I'm new to St. Pete and had no idea where to go when my car started acting funny and boy am I glad to have found these guys! They'll be my go-to mechanics for as long as I'm in the area!
