Runway has been so good to me with my 2005 VW New Beetle! Tim and Robyn have been very pleasant and personable-- I always look forward to going in to see them. I go in about every two weeks to chip away at the list of work that needs to be done and I feel that the prices they charge have been reasonable for the amount of work they get done each time. I'm almost always pleasantly surprised that my bill is significantly less than I think it will be, especially being at an import shop. Their staff is especially knowledgeable and efficient so they don't have to waste a lot of labor time diagnosing issues. Plus, several concerns that I thought were going to be big, expensive projects have turned out to be relatively minor, saving me so much money. I feel confident going to Runway because they know their stuff and they seem to actually care about me being safe on the road rather than just trying to get as much money out of me as possible. Even if they did charge more, I'd be happy to pay it because I've had such a positive experience. Highly recommend them!

Thank you, Ron Blake for your kindness and professionalism, while taking the time to be of assistance to me yesterday. I was 8-1/2 hours from where I now live in Charlotte, visiting my hometown of Pensacola for a family member's funeral and during the Christmas holiday. I appreciated and respected your honesty in that your team was booked and that my repair required more time that you all were able to provide me as a walk-in, right there on the spot, due to obligations and promises to customers that came before me. Regardless, I realize you did not have to take the time that you did to test my car, printing out the results of my diagnostic test, while ensuring I was safe to get back on the road and to travel to NC. This, and you never asked me for a dime. I made it safely back to Charlotte, arriving around 8pm and have an appointment this morning at a local repair shop/garage. I just wanted to come in to Google today and to sincerely thank YOU. And for whatever it's worth, I really enjoyed our car ride around the old neighborhood of Scenic Heights. Pensacola will always be home and true to form, the southern hospitality of helping others has not waivered in this crazy world we now live in. Again, thank you.

nice people but made a lot of promises they couldn't keep and left me without a car for weeks just to tell me they couldn't figure it out despite previously telling me they could figure it out in a day. highly recommend Fisher's just around the corner over runway any day.

Simple and straight forward when it came to fixing my cars many(and ultimately somewhat related) issues. They quickly diagnosed problems that the dealership couldn't even solve and took a great weight off my mind. Took good care of the regular service but missed hearing the noise we were concerned about. Had to take it to the dealer to get it fixed...spark plugs. Don't know why they didn't hear the obvious noise. Even my grandson heard it.

I am so glad I find a place that I can trust for repairing my Mercedes Benz. Most honest and knowledgeable mechanic in town! I have been using Runaway import now for years and they have been always super nice and honest to me. I never felt that I have been ripped off like I felt with other mechanics that were trying to take advantage of a single women with not knowledge of the car problems. I strongly recommend this place especially if you have an European car. Best place for your $ and repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had to write cause of the stand up service. I was recommended this place by a friend. While they do not usually work on trucks or perform an engine change they were happy to check out my vehicle. I did not know that my vehicle was not there standard business till after. They diagnosed as best they could with out using any pricey equipment as there plan was not to charge me. It was due to the poor condition of the engine and we both knew it might require replacing it. The staff was super professional and very polite. I will definitely use them for my wife's car.

They replaced both fuel pumps and were diligent in finding needed parts.My vehicle is 30+ years old and parts are hard to find. They also fixed my door locks. Great company. Very professional in their work and top notch customer service!

I had a great experience. Everything was done to perfection, what was needed, in a fast and very professional manner and at more reasonable cost than the dealer would. I called Runway looking for parts to a Volvo. They were very helpful. I was not 100% sure of what I needed, if I'm honest I was about 25% sure yet somehow the gentleman on the phone managed to figure it out for me! He asked pertinent questions and offered solid advice. This time we were only in search of parts but I would take my vehicle here and feel confident the shop has relevant, up to date knowledge. Our parts total was just under $500. We gave a $100 deposit and they arrived the next morning before 11AM.Great customer service.Fair pricing.

We had taken the Mercedes there because the top wouldn t go down. Had it there all day and got home the same day and the top wouldn t go down. We took it back they said another cylinder had a leak. Why wasn t the addressed when it was there the same day. They said it needed a battery. Took it elsewhere and was told alternator was weak. After leaving the trunk button was broken . Took it back and they said it wasn t them. They were in the trunk and used the button to check out the top. $900later and have the same issue and a broken buttons!

12/07/20 Update:Runway is an outstanding group of people and a great full service shop. They (Ron, Rick, and Tim) are honest and very pleasant to work with. If you're new to the area or dissatisfied with your current service, just give them a call. Their rates are reasonable, service is impeccable, and they also do "good works" within our community.Previous Feedback:Runway Imports have serviced our vehicles since 1998 and we trust the brothers and their staff 100%. They are exceptionally honest and provide outstanding service. Additionally, they don t push unnecessary work as other shops frequently do to merely increase their profits. I was extremely pleased with my experience with Runway Imports. The staff was very courteous and explained what they were doing and gave me an estimate of the charges before doing the work.Ron worked very hard to finish my car on timeand fixed a problem I had for over 2 years withthe air conditioning . Everyone I came in contact with was very professional and polite.I will definitely use them again!

My Dad dropped my car off to be repaired a couple weeks ago and when he picked it up on Friday, they informed him that my door wouldn't lock which it was locking before he dropped it off. Then we get home and realized my trunk will not open with the button. They said they did not do it. For as much as they charge for the repairs to my car, this is utterly ridiculous I now have more repairs to do. I'm very disappointed.

I dropped off my car 3 months ago and they said it had a bad instrument cluster which was replaced and I was charged $1,200 for the repair after the kept the car for 6 weeks. Within a two weeks after the repair the car started doing the same exact thing.So I brought the car back and they kept it for another 5 weeks only to tell me they don t know what wrong with it and it hasn t kicked any codes since they been working on it.So it wasn t the $1,200 instrument cluster that was paid for and after 11 weeks of me following up weekly because the customer service lacks the service part. I m out $1,200 and 11 weeks and the car does the exact same thing it did when we started this process. No mention of returning the money I paid for a part that wasn t needed and no answers on what s wrong with the car.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I HIGHLY recommend this business, and very much appreciate Runway Import's service on my Tacoma. I drive across the country, and stay on top on my older Tacoma's needs, however, Runway quickly and cost-efficiently repaired my vehicle, when another local shop missed - and mis diagnosed issues. I came in panicked thinking something was wrong with my convertible top on my Lexus and Ron And the staff Was so thoughtful, I was very upset and they were compassionate and Extremely kind. They they did such a wonderful job I would recommend them to anyone.. He could have charged me for things I wouldn't have even known were right wrong or not and they are very honest and trustworthy they did not take advantage of me and I now trust them to the fullest and Will go back to them and It's nice to know that you can trust people and that they still care these days these these are the qualities and traits I look for in a company and a mechanic they're very important and important and I cannot thank them enough For all of their help and their time.

Terrific quality of work at an excellent price. They actually take the time to listen to what the customer has to say and are very thorough in communicating their findings as it relates to your vehicle. They re also timely with repairs and my car and truck were both finished as promised. Thank you Ron. I stopped by this business and the owner spent some time with my Mercedes. I just spend 4 thousand dollar at *another* mechanic and the engine was misfiring. Unfortunately, the mechanic broke a part on my car. Rick, the Runway Imports representative, chose to charge me for this part that they were responsible for breaking.When I discussed my disagreement with Rick, he told me I "Did not have a clue" and that "Runway Imports can not be held responsible for parts that break easily."Rick became angry amd completey unprofessional. I remained calm, but Rick told me to "Get out!"Rick has no clue about customer service.Shame on Rick and shame on Runway Imports.I will never use their services again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The review has been a long time coming. We saw the great reviews and thought it was worth checking out This is a great shop. These guys are very professional and they know what they are doing. We have taken 2 imports to this shop. In both cases, they handled the work quickly and kept us posted along the way. There were no surprises (other than the discovery of how awesome they are). Prices were very reasonable and you can just tell they love what they do. They take a lot of pride in their work and their customer service. If you have an import, this is the shop you need to take it to. They do not disappoint! Thanks Guys!

I was in need for service for my wife BMW that end up needing a coolant pump and thermostat. My sister in law referred me and it was well worth the experience. Runway imports did a great job with my VW Cabrio! Very thorough! My check engine light was on and they made sure all repairs were done to ensure my car was running great with no check engine light. It took a little longer than I expected but I am happy with the service.
