I have three vehicles that I wouldn't take anywhere else to get worked on. Dale and Brian are amazing. They both are very friendly and they will do anything they can to help you. The price you pay for what you get is more than fair, the workmanship is way above average, the office is always welcoming, and clean. There just isn't a better place all the way around to take your vehicle to get worked on.

A month of waiting, $500 and a Fuel pump, returned my truck because it wasn't fixed properly the first time, only for it to sit another month under an oak tree that was ruining my brand new paint job. No calls or updates. Just let it sit.. BRIAN!!

Mr. Tau is the ivory tower of mechanics in Pensacola. If you have a classic Chevy (especially a Corvette) this is the only place in town I would even consider taking my car. I brought him a 1969 Chevy C10 that was barely running and I got it back running like the day it came off the factory line. I got this truck from my father 24 years ago and it runs better today than the day I started driving it. Thank you, sir.

My parents started using Robert Tau's when they moved to 12th avenue over 30 yrs ago. Every experience I shared with my parents and Mr. Tau's shop has always been nothing short of excellent with zero complaints. Fast forward to now, both me and my wife have the pleasure of trusting our vehicles to Brian who maintains the level of respect and honesty my family has known since day 1. Came to this shop on a couple of recommendations and I was taken care of greatly. Had a panic attack when my charger wouldn't start, After a bunch of autozone tests and calls... Brian walked out on a busy Friday and diagnosed it for nothing. Took him about a minute if that! Simple as a dead battery. This will be the only shop I use for the rest of my life as long as I am in Florida. Some of us are not very good with car work so the trust between a shop and inexperienced customer is always a huge plus. I'm not trying to make my car a hot rod, I just want it to crank over when I get in it after 8 hour of work!Thanks again Brian, You've got a customer for life.Service: Auto battery maintenance

I m so happy I found this place! They were recommended to me on Reddit and they fixed my car and got it going again for a lot less than I thought it was gonna be. They also told me what else was wrong with it so I ll be coming back for future repairs and anything else that might come up while I m down here in Pensacola. 10 out of 10, do recommend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Was definitely very pleased and impressed with my experience here. The serpentine belt broke on my car. I called and they told me to come by. Had it fixed within a few hours and for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be going back there if something else goes wrong with my car or even just a simple tune up.

Best service and prices in town. Took my Kia there to get a faulty a/c compressor replaced. Service was done on time as promised and at a better price than most a/c shops. I'm definitely taking my vehicle there for future repairs.

It's really hard to find a mechanic that you can trust, but when you do they are your mechanic for life. I have been driving out of my way to go to a mechanic in Baldwin County till I could find a place that I could trust here, in Pensacola. Glad I found it. This place hits all the check marks for me. I need things explained to me. I don't want to just know what part needs to be changed. I want to know the function of the part and the repercussions if this part were to fail. I also like to know the general life of the replaced part and the reason that mine has gone out in the first place. I like to know if I have been doing something that caused the part to need to be replaced sooner than normal. Brian is very patient with my questions and explains things well. I am aware that my questions and sound effects can cause an eye roll but he has never showed that he was annoyed in any way. He never tries to up sale me although he will remind me when certain regular maintenance issues might need to be addressed in the future.

I have worked on cars for 35+ years, but there's somethings that I no longer want to do, and for that I use Robert Tau. The prices are fair and the mechanics are extremely knowledge and up to date on the latest automotive technology. I have always had great & HONEST services with Robert Tau and recommend his service to anyone.

I was stationed at NAS Pensacola for about 7 months before I moved up to Milton and NAS Whiting Field. I still drive the 20+ minutes to Robert Tau's to get my car fixed. Honest repair shop, very friendly and professional staff. I plan on going back as long as I am in the area.

Doesn't know much about Hondas. I called for a price on a valve adjustment because I had been told by 2 other mechanics that is what was needed and he told me they don't do valve adjustments anymore and that that was not the problem. My owners manual clearly states that the valves need to be inspected every 60k miles and adjusted by 120k. I had the valves adjusted by a mechanic in MS and the problem was solved.
