Great experience and probably the quickest in and out during purchasing of my daughters vehicle. Larry Fitzpatrick was very helpful and professional throughout the sale. I felt no pressure and all my questions answered. I live in Alabama but have found a new dealership to deal with in the future. I will be returning and recommend to anyone.

Pete Moore Service department was so quick and efficient when I needed my tire replaced. I had called another VW dealership since it was closer, left a message and never received a call back. I called Pete Moore and within less than 24 hours I had everything I needed and was able to schedule my service. When I arrived they were busy, but never made me feel like I wasn't important. The ladies in service were wonderful and informative! They did everything correct and I'm so thankful!

I was told an oil change would be 1.5 hours at most. The exact words were we ll have you out within an hour and a half . Ok so I waited. After an 1.5 hours no update. After 2 hours asked for an update and the woman at the counter said she d check in back to give me an update. 2.5 hours later and being pissed asked for another update. I was then told my car was being taken back and it would be another 45 minutes. Total 3.25 hours. I took my car home because that is unacceptable. This would never happen in Chicago and just moved here, lazy. If I could give negative stars I would. Customer service is atrocious and should be fired.

I m editing my initial review. After the initial buying experience, things went downhill. A piece in my new vehicle s console was malfunctioning. Apparently, this was an issue with this model because I was told they had replaced 3 of the same pieces in other vehicles that week. When replacing the piece in my vehicle, they accidentally cut the leather trim on the center console in two places. In addition, the newly installed piece is not functioning properly. I was allowed to leave without anyone telling me. I stopped in the parking lot to check out the work and noticed, so I went back. I was told they would order a new leather trim piece and it should be in a week later. I called to follow up and now it is on back order. No one let me know. I just feel once they got the sale, I was no longer important.Initial review: The experience I had purchasing my 2024 VW Altas Cross Sport was excellent. I felt the staff genuinely cared about ensuring I found the vehicle that was right for me. They took the time to show me multiple vehicles, explained what was different about each, and how they aligned with what I said I wanted. They even parked my final choices side-by-side so I could see them together to compare. The entire buying experience was positive and easy.

Service was quick but - the technician left some of my lug nuts on the left driver's tire loose and the car sounded like it was falling apart. Thankfully I did not use the Interstate to drive home that evening and called Saturday morning and the service guy was able to get me in that morning and figure out what was wrong with my vehicle and get me back on the road quickly.

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Service advisor came to let me know my car was done (took about an hour) and asked if I want to get it washed. I agreed. After another hour the service advisor came back and informed me that they hadn't even started on the wash yet. Then asked me if I wanted to continue to wait. Why would you ask me if I wanted my car washed if nooone was available to wash it then?? Why would you let me wait an hour before coming tell me anything? My time is very valuable and I don't appreciate it being wasted , especially when I'm a paying customer. That is completely unacceptable and not the way to conduct business.

To make matters worse, Pete Moore VW has not offered any alternative transportation during this time. Had the BEST experience with Mark Torelli! It was my first time buying a new car and he made it so easy. He worked with us and answered ALL of our questions... which we had a lot. Our sales consultant David Swartout did an Excellent job best customer experience. Didn't try to push and showed us what we asked for and and options and variety which in todays pandemic market is not the easiest to have inventory. Even test drove off site to show us another option that was at an event. David also didn't waste our time with all the car lot sales pitches we had to go thru at several other dealers and got us what we wanted and not what they needed to sell that day because it was all they had. Look forward to many more dealing with Pete Moore & David. Thank you again Kristofer. Loving the 2022 Taos

I have a Volkswagen Toreaug that I purchased Brand New from Pete Moore. It had to put brakes on it at 19,000 miles. The rotors were rusted bad when I bought it and I was told it would be ok. It wasn't. Now at 55,000 miles and $1200 later, I'm putting brakes on it again. I have 5 vehicles, all with more miles than this one and no brake issues with them. I'm not happy with this and if I had to put rotors on the rear it would have been even more!

I d like to give a huge shoutout to the folks over at Pete Moore, especially Mark and Dan. They made my car deal happen!Due to work circumstances I didn t have a ton of time to spend at the dealership etc. Via email text communication I was honest up front on what I could afford and if they were able to meet me at that price.The crew at Pete Moore Volkswagen went above and beyond. They took the vehicle for a third party inspection the day before upon my request, they prepared all the paperwork so that when I came in Saturday morning I spent only about 10 minutes. Where can you get in and out of a dealer in 10 minutes!I Presented my checks signed some docs they had the vehicle ready and waiting license and registration and permanent Florida plates already tagged- huge perk for Florida and any dealers who are able to do that.-They even sent me away with a full tank of Gas. At no time did I feel pressured or stressed. I 100% recommend the folks over at Pete Moore.

Absolute best experience of buying a car I have ever had. Our sales guy, Kevin, was super great and flexible. Due to my work schedule, I came in late on Saturday to look at a car. Seems most banks were closed, they let me take the car for the weekend and come back on Monday to finish the paperwork. The sales manager, Jeff, was an absolute delight to speak with. He even gifted us two VW shirts seems this was the first VW we ve ever owned. Jen, the finance person, was also super wonderful and she is very thorough and makes all the paperwork very easy to understand. The dealership itself could use some updating, but overall, the quality of the employees makes this dealership what it is! Happy to have bought a car from Pete Moore!

Amazing! Let me first say thank you so much to the team as they were very communicative about my wait time and if I needed to go anywhere, they were very helpful with me and my family! After several hours, they were able to get all the items that needed to be fixed and did a complete inspection on the car, they handed me back my vehicle which has been running great since. While I knew I would be there for a few hours beforehand while speaking with a representative, they were very kind and provided updates throughout my time there to let me know where we were with the vehicle. I cannot say thank you enough to Samantha and the guys working on the car! Y all are wonderful and we will happily make the drive over to have you service our car anytime!

We had a fantastic experience at Pete Moore Volkswagen! We came to the dealership on a whim after car shopping at 2 other places. We were in the market for a 3 row family suv, we already had financing, a substantial down payment in hand and a set budget we had to stick to for our monthly payments. We previously went to Kia auto sport and they were terrible. They basically turned us away and claimed they didn t have anything in our budget as they were selling cars 5-10k over msrp. They didn t even try to find something for us in their inventory to work with us even though we were ready to buy with pre approved financing and all. Rob was our sales person at Pete Moore and we couldn t have been happier with our experience. He literally scoured the whole lot trying to find the right fit for our family and our budget. We were set on an Atlas because we wanted the space for car seats and more kids in the future but it didn t look like we were going to be able to afford one, that is until Rob went inside to talk to the used car sales manager (I think his name was Dan Or Dave Freeman) he did not let us leave without finding us an Atlas in our budget! We are a military family, both me and my husband serve and this place truly values the military community. He lowered the price for us and they even got us a better rate with dealership financing than USAA offered us! This is exactly the kind of experience and service everyone should get when car shopping. They literally did not let us walk out the door without finding the right car for us! We ended up with a certified pre-owned 2019 VW Atlas with only 36k miles on it so to us that meant almost brand new. We are so happy with our purchase and with the experience we had. Highly recommend them to anyone in the Pensacola area shopping for a new car!

Service department has very poor customer service, communications, and follow through. We have been trying to get warranty service work completed and went for diagnosis. They ordered the parts and never called for scheduling when parts arrived. We had to call multiple times. We've been told we'll have calls returned and never done. We have a short in a turn signal and clearly have a malfunction. They refuse to assist and state that if no error code that they will not fix it.

Quality of service was great. Only reason for not receiving 5 stars is the fact that even with an appointment an oil change took nearly 3 hours to complete. I understand that isn't unusual for a dealership service department but it is discouraging for those who would prefer not to use the services of Jiffy Lube and those types of places.

I recently purchased a 2012 Chevy Equinox from Pete Moore Imports. My visit to Pete Moore Imports came after two stops at other local dealerships. Both places were just OK, but I wanted to find a dealership that would genuinely try to work with me. I wanted a local touch and a fair deal.Let me tell you why I decided to buy a car from Pete Moore -- the salesperson David Swartout. Of course the vehicle needed to check out as well and it did. I told David's manager Dan Freeman that David is a superstar. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and that my questions were answered. David conducted himself with class, he "got after it" with enthusiasm, he was friendly but not "fake nice" (I think we all know what that looks like). It took getting some things right under the hood before we closed the deal, but they got it done for me. I'm very happy with the purchase and I will refer friends and associates to Pete Moore Imports.

Being new to VWs, we didn't know what questions to ask so when we purchased the TAOS and started driving it more, we found several problems that should have been explained to us. When my wife took the care back to the dealer to get a low tire pressure warning taken care of she asked questions about aspects of the vehicle, but the service department technician told her that was the way the vehicle is and settings could not be changed. Had we known this was the case my wife would not have chosen the vehicle. After driving the vehicle for a month, I found that the transmission shifted roughly. This surprised and disappointed me. If this is a step above the base model, I would hate to own the base model. This vehicle is so bland I'm surprised that this model has a backup camera. Had I known the total lack of safety features on this 2022 model I would not have bought it. But the choice was my wife's and she hated it after driving it for 2 days. So I gave her my Ford Escape Titanium and I kept the VW Taos SE. I should have gone with my first choice and purchased the Chevy Bolt.

I originally reached out for a service appointment in May, but wasn't able to get one until mid June. However, once I did take my car in for service, the repairs did take a while, but it wasn't an easy job and storms backed things up. They kept me informed with what was going on and were honest with me when having trouble with some parts. The price I was quoted is what I paid, and even though they had issues getting some parts off to do the repair, they did not increase my bill by a lot. My car is driving great now, a few days after getting it back. Also, the general manager was, Mike, was helpful in getting the parts ordered and providing me with a quote. Thanks for all your hard work!

I went out of town the next day. All the way something was dragging. I found a strip of plastic and thought that was it but could not remove it. Tried to tuck it up. It was small and did not seem it would make the loud sound I was hearing and feeling. My son checked it and the plastic wind thing had not been screwed back in place. Took it to a tire store in the town and they fixed it for me. Also, for some reason the safety feature that tells you if a car is in blind spot has been turned off and another also. I thought maybe they just were not working but soon checked and they had been turned off. Turned back on in settings and they work now.

What an amazing and memorable experience! I started my day at another dealership in Ft Walton Beach, where their salesman ensured me they had a new 2022 VW Jetta waiting for me. When I arrived, there was no car and he even tried selling me their loaner for nearly the same price for a brand new vehicle.I called Pete Moore Imports right there in the parking lot, and spoke with David. I explained what happened, he apologized and asked me to come on over - he had one 2022 Jetta SE on the lot. He pulled it up, took pictures of it, and texted with us that he will keep it held. My wife and I drove over an hour to Pete Moore, and upon our arrival, we were treated with the utmost respect and care.David and Sales Manager Jeff were tremendous. They answered every question we had, were honest and thorough about this vehicle versus that vehicle, trade in versus selling our old car outright, etc. Ultimately, we were treated like people. We weren't treated like a sales target. In fact, I felt like a client and not just a sale.Entire process was flawless - 10/10. Thank you David, Jeff, and the entire team at Pete Moore Imports for making a bad day into one of the best, most memorable days!

i would give this place zero if i could. i ve given the service department multiple chances to do what i ask them and they ve made far too many mistakes due to not listening to me. they also don t take accountability what so ever. the balding guy is an absolute pompous jerk to put it lightly. i will never be returning to pete moore for any service on my VW and i will express to everyone to do the same. Jessica, was the only reason i continued to return. She s delightful, everyone else can kick rocks.

This was the easiest and least stressful car buying experience we have ever had. Larry, our sales expert was excellent. He knew all about the vehicle. He is easy going and no pressure. All the sales staff were friendly, accommodating, and knew their business. It felt like buying a car from a friend you trusted. We had no intention of buying a vehicle that day. My husband, my sister, and myself were only looking at vehicles to see what we were going to purchase in a few months. We ended up buying a Taos as did my sister....that day. I could go on and on, but I won't. It was a very good experience. Never once have we thought, " OH I hope we are doing the right thing". You can't go wrong.
