Jeremy was incredibly kind and helpful in getting my car on the road after my check engine light came on while I was visiting Pensacola from Orlando. The only real delay in service was handled very professionally (especially since it was my fault), and I was back on the road in no time.

I made an appointment for an oil change online. When I arrived at the Pep Boys location, they were ready and expecting me. The service and system inspection were done promptly and the car was ready ahead of schedule. I got text messages and links to read about all the steps during the service.

Pep boys on 9th avenue in Pensacola Fl on saturday at 5pm on 3-2-24From the young lady to the manager to the technician Kaleb R on invoice.I left walmart and did not feel good about interaction about my tire so i went to pep boysIt was an extremely positive experience and i will go back here when i need to 4 new tiresIf i were the regional or district manager i would reward the whole team with at the very least pizza or gift cards or a raise.In todays environment where most companies have tossed customer service out the window or delegated it to India, Pep Boys it appears has remained committed to customer serviceThank you thank you thank you.

Pep Boys have been my exclusive tire store since moving to Florida. From West Palm Beach Florida Crestview Florida Pensacola Florida. They are easy when I miss my appointment and always try to get me in. I only go to Pep Boys for 20 years.

Amazing! Phil (the manager) treats his customers and staff with kindness and grace. Sam (who fixed our van) is one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. She smiled the whole time! I definitely recommend this place!

Staff were polite, and I advised them of the required/desired repairs, as well as my budget. It was a bit difficult to determine the most critical repairs and how to maximize the coupons and Manager's Special pricing. After completion of repairs, my vehicle still pulled (alignment) and brakes were grinding. I had requested a brake job, possibly including turning the rotors. I was advised that I didn't need new pads, but that the rotors needed to be turned. After driving the vehicle, the alignment was no better, and my brakes still made the grinding sound.Returned next day, and was told I had a "bubble" in one of my tires. You didn't observe this on your inspection? 2 new tires and on the road. Vehicle still pulled, brakes still grinding. A third trip will hopefully resolve the issues. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect a business to acknowledge they could have done better. When issues arise, an opportunity to set yourself apart from competition. Vehicle is in the shop rn. I'll post a follow up review.

Friendly staff. I received a courtesy call after diagnostics were complete and my vehicle needed quite a bit more work than I originally anticipated. The work was done well and in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend this location.

Phil helped me with a simple battery issue. Was super friendly and fixed it quickly. This is my 3rd time here will definitely keep coming back!Great service. They didn't have my size tired in stock but found them in town, picked them up, put them on, and got my car back to me the same day! Will definitely be back.

My issue started with vibration in the steering wheel and I ended up with 2 new tires and a serious brake job. Adam and his team on N 9th Ave took great care of me, my car and were as easy on my wallet as they could be. Outstanding service and great communication. I highly recommend this Pep Boys!

Took the car to them in the morning and our air conditioner was fixed the same day. They also addressed a few other smaller issues that needed done as well. Polite, knowledgeable, and EXCELLENT service. I thought they were a bit pricey, BUT I'll live with it because of the speedy service. I will use them again.

You would be better off throwing your money over a bridge. 2,000$ and three trips there and the oil is only leaking worse than before, on top of the engine mount now being messed up and the car rattling.

We needed some last minute work on an old truck about to travel 530 miles. The crew working memorial day weekend took great care of us. Got us on the road and at a great price. Our mechanic Sam was very impressive.

20 years ago i had a bad experience with a pep boys location leading ne to believe all locations were similar. But ineed to share that due to every other location being overbooked in my area, i went to the same pep boys location to buy/mount a new tire.i was shocked at how personable the interior staff was as well as the mechanic. The cashier guy was fun, funny, delightful, and set me up for an appointment later in the day as the morning was busy. Appointment went fine and was quick for what it was which tells me the whole staff are familiar and good at what they do. The mechanic also spoke with me when delivering the car about a concern he noticed about a dash sensor not cooperating with the repair that i was aware would happen as im behind on a recall for my model. He paid attention to details that were beyond his work order concern. I was pleased, happy and walked out paying less than what i expected to pay based on my experiences 20 years ago. So thank you pep boys for maintaining reasonable people at your locations in my area. Yes i will be coming back, now that i am aware the people are knowledgeable AND personable.

That s the third time I had my car serviced there. The staff and the service they provide is above and beyond. Best oil change that last. They replace the front rotors and calipers. Afterwards, my car have better gas mileage, smoother breaks. Keep up with the fantastic jobs, I appreciate your service. Thanks!

Avoid pep boys at all costs. Go anywhere else. These guys are dimwits. Coming from someone who does mechanics for funsies, I'd be afraid to let these guys give me an oil change.Edit in response to owners comment on my review:On my Google review I was told to contact this email regarding my less than five star experience. I will tell the whole story in detail here.A few months ago I went to pep boys on 9th avenue in Pensacola Florida, with the complaint that my AC wasn't working and I thought it was the AC clutch. They told me that it was in fact My tensioner pulley and a problem down the line with my AC but it wasn't the compressor. They quoted me an outrageous amount upwards of $3,000 to fix the air conditioning. I had them replace the tensioner pulley and belt. Tensioner failed upon leaving pep boys. Brought it back a few days later to get the part warrantied. They said it was the AC compressor causing the tensioner to fail, but still replaced the tensioner. Tensioner failed again upon leaving pep boys. So i replaced the compressor myself, pre filled with oil and professionally evac/charged with a different shop. Brought back to store and asked to have tensioner warrantied. Manager obliged but also inform me that he would not be warranting the part again because of a issue with a different pulley that needed to be fixed and it voided the warranty. I called corporate, they said that manager was fired and I was to go to the new store manager. He replaced my tensioner 3 more times and came to the same conclusion as the last manager, that the tensioner wasn't the issue and it was a different pulley causing the tensioner to fail. So I went thru corporate, got a refund, bought the parts and replaced the tensioner and belt myself. Upon removing the belt pep boys installed, I found they used a belt 1/2" too long and it was causing the tensioner to rattle and loosen the bolt holding it in place. After my installation of the correct belt and a new tensioner, my vans AC and engine are running perfectly.I have never delt with such an unprofessional and ignorant mechanic shop in my life. I could've done the work myself but went to a mechanic to save time. Obviously that was a terrible choice. I will not be going back to pep boys ever again, and won't recommend anyone else to do so. In fact, I truly appreciate this opportunity to give me cause to write down the whole experience so I may post it in my Google review. Thanks for your time.

Chase and Fred are amazing at this location. All the mechanics are nice and friendly. They are always able to help us and we use them for everything we run a small car rental company, along with a few personal cars currently use them for all 11 of our cars. They are great at working on a wide variety of vehicles. We have had almost everything happen at some point and they have always solved it. I cannot recommend the amazing team here enough!!

Horrible customer satisfaction. Mike claims to be a district manager is a poor excuse for a boss. Attitude reflects leadership. He contradicted me the customer being argumentative and insulted me with accusatory lies, just shocking why he thought this was necessary. He preferred to lose my business, I'm sure corporate would like to hear how managers are pushing customers away. Jacob is another unethical employee telling lies to not accept responsibility for damaging my car to protect his job. Jacob was courteous and professional until he got my payment of over 2000$. People don't be fooled by this brand if I went through this its possible you might too.

Road trip in heavy rain, found out that the battery needed immediate replacement. Prep Boys associates helped us get in and out quickly while they got the job done. Really appreciate their service.

Guys were super nice and worked with me on the price, but I can only give 3 stars because my issue now has a 900 dollar bandaid on it and I still have poor brakes, although they are definitely much better than before. Still, they seem like knowledgeable people and the customer service was great but I just don t think enough time went into diagnosis.

Were from out town meeting daughter, she complained about noisy, squeaking brakes. They needed replacing. They got us in right away and changed them within hours knowing we wanted them done before we left. Very good service, reasonable rates.

I m from out town and have used Pep Boys before. I had a low tire. I called the store and Chase told me to come on in. They worked me in on a busy Labor Day. Sam found a nail in the tire. Chase said don t worry about it, we got this no charge. He also said see you next time your in town. I would like to thank the staff for taking such great care of me.

The service was awful. The guy just stared at me after I told him what I needed and when I finally got him to talk he told me "it's gonna be an hour go put the tire over there." Never got any of my info, so when I came back in an hour, my tire was still sitting where I put it and I didn't even make it to the door before he came out saying he can't fix that he'd have to sell me a new one. Needless to say I said no and went to Jerry's Used Tires on Palafox. Never had and issue there and I won't be back to pep boys

LADIES!!!!!!!DO NOT trust your vehicle to these people PLEASE!!I took my car in.. told them the air was not blowing AS cold as it used to .. maybe needs a filter change or Freon???They told me my compressor was out and it would be $3,000 to fix it I said I couldn t afford that so thanks!! Picked up my car and it was blowing but NOT cool just outside temperature. I called and asked if they could just put Freon in and they said No.. when the compressor is broken it s like the heart in a body .. when it doesn t work nothing works I took my car to 2 other places to have it looked at it JUST needed Freon compressor is fine!!!PEP BOYS . You will NOT be getting my $3,000 because it only cost be $40 to get my Freon filled!!I have filed a complaint with the corporate office and and BBB. So hopefully no one else will have the same experience I did!!
