Service is exceptional and on point. Kayla done a great job explaining and communicating what was going on with my sons truck and Brian helped getting it back on the road safely. Both are honest with what did and didn t need to be done and we will be back in future if needed.

We were excited to see a new Mavis open up near us and stopped in to get a few things fixed. They were extremely helpful, efficient, and cleared up any concerns we had. They charged us fair market price and saved us money. Kayla and Bradley went out of their way to help us and treated us like family.All the staff are awesome and showed us what a great mechanic shop should be!We highly recommend them..they will definitely take great care of you!!

I live in the area and I brought my car in the other day needing a few things done. Kayla was very professional and friendly. They were able to get me in immediately and the cost was considerably lower than the other shops I had priced. They did the work while I waited and the mechanic walked me through everything showing me where my problem was. I also met Bradley he is an exceptional part of the team. He went above and beyond to help me and I am so grateful for him and the entire crew at Mavis. If you need any work done I would highly recommend them. They do quality work at extremely reasonable prices. I will be sending all my friends and family to them from now on!

Have been going to Mavis for about 3 years now for oil changes and tire rotations for all my vehicles. They never disappoint, everyone is super friendly and welcoming. 10/10

My Jeep is not even fixed yet and I am already giving these guys 5 stars. I called pep boys 1st because I used to work for them and was quoted 560$ to replace the Aux battery for the ESS. The battery is 80$ at AutoZone and they said it was 250$. I'm not some yuppie that don't know about cars lol. I called Tuffys and didn't mention that I was gouged at pep boys. They quoted 250$. They could have the battery in a hour and installed in about a hour. I live and travel in my jeep so I didn't have a way to drop the jeep off. These guys are amazing and all this was on a Sunday!!

I came here with a defective battery I got installed six months ago from another Tuffy location. Since I had a two year warranty I was able to get it replaced as well as to check if it was my alternator that was causing the issue. Kayla was super helpful from start to finish. Great staff and mechanics.

I had a great experience today. I came in needing my brakes checked out and Brian was very informative in letting me know what I needed to take care of. The price was fair and better than what I was quoted at other auto shops. I will be back soon to get more work done. My appointment was at 2 and I was out the door at 3. When this place was Tuffy I was a loyal customer for 21 plus years. Now that the staff has changed you just don't get the same service. I'm still waiting a week later for the phone call i was told i would receive about a tire i ordered. Yes, i could call BUT I asked should i call, "No ma'am we will call you". Now i understand it might have been delayed arriving on time, BUT customer service goes a long way, a phone call letting me know what was/is going on would have been nice. I went else where and won't be back, things just aren't the same since, Mike and Jimmy aren't there.

The staff at this store is amazing! Brittney was the first person I spoke with and she was very helpful and friendly. Everyone at this location is very pleasant and made my entire experience a pleasant one. Thank you all so much for making my day that much better! I will recommend this location to everyone!

I originally made an appointment online (you get $19 off doing that) but, I made it for the next day and the site didn t realize the tires weren t in stock. Angel worked with me/ my schedule and got me in ASAP. Carlos did an amazing and very speedy job getting on my 2 tires. While waiting, I heard the way the receptionist was talking to other customers on the phone, she was always very sweet to them. Overall 10/10 would recommend for your car needs!Service: Tires

The Mavis Auto and Tire on University Parkway, Pensacola is an excellent place to bring your vehicle. The new owner is very meticulous to find out the problem you are having with your car. Five stars plus many more.

Jimmy and Tuffy/Mavis have been handling service on my family's cars for the past decade. They've always been outstanding always been honest always provide the best service. The name changing hasn't changed anything about the quality of their work.

I came in for a tire patch on my driver rear tire. The customer service was excellent and they were quick and efficient in getting my vehicle in and out in about under 20 minutes. When it came time to pay for the service, I was shocked by the fact that is was free of charge. It definitely made my day and I will be back for more vehicle service if an issue were to arise.

Kayla took care us there was no pressure to by their line of tires but we decided to go with since they have a high rating and good price & warrantyasked for brakes to be checked as we were sure we needed shoes didn t try to sell us any unneeded repairthank you we def recommend

Very friendly place! I took my 2017 Subaru in for a loud noise. They were able to diagnose the issue and fix what needed to be fixed. I rode with the manager, Jimmy, to listen for anymore issues and felt very safe! He s so nice and very helpful. After about a week and a half I still felt like I could hear a noise. I took my car back, feeling very annoying but the admin assistant, Brooke, and Jimmy were so nice about seeing me for a third time. Took the car for a ride and discovered my wheel studs were cross threaded. Luckily it was caught before my cross-country move!Any car mechanic is going to be pricey, but I wouldn t say this place is outrageous. I d happily give a few more dollars for exceptional service and staff that is nice & understanding.Services: Tires, Tire rotations, Brakes

Started coming to Tuffy about 18 years ago when another auto repair shop told me I needed $1200 in repairs. I brought it to Tuffy and they looked at it and said there was nothing wrong with my car and sent me away. Any time something breaks in my 2 cars I bring them in and they list out my options. I've grown to know the staff and listen to them speak with other customers and have never heard them stretch the truth. They tell you what they see and let you decide your course of action. They always have honest, polite staff. Auto repairs are difficult, but I've saved frustration and money by not having to pay for madeup repairs. Also, they fix immediately and not let your car sit there for weeks waiting for its turn... Other honest shops in town are too backed up to help you in a timely manner and lack proper resources.Update: 2024Mavis bought them out and every employee jumped ship. New employee broke a vacuum hose and screwed a screw in it and tucked it in thinking I wouldn't notice. Manager didn't talk car and didn't seem like they knew car repair. The franchise that replaced Tuffy is useless do not waste your time. They will not install parts unless you buy them through them. They also do not stock any parts at all. Took mufflers to have them installed and they refused to install them because I didn t buy them from them. They do not keep mufflers in stock either.

This service center deserves more than 5 reviews. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and were helped immediately. One of my tires had a nail and the nice gentlemen fixed my tire quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this place if you are in need of any vehicle repairs.

Quick and professional. I appreciated the excellent communication. A big bill, but I am sure at market value prices. A loan car or a lift back to the motel would have made the experience even better. Nice guys.
