Excellent service and fair prices. We brought in our daughter s 2013 to have the timing chain replaced & some gaskets replaced. They keep us informed each step of the way. While it was a fairly major repair, the price was fair. Easy after hours pickup/drop off is very convenient.

My first piece of advice is to not buy a BMW. But if you must, these are the only people you should let work on it.I ve been in several times for various things and always had a great experience. Quick, efficient and best prices in town. I trust them more than the dealership at this point.

My 2017 BMW 330e series sprung what turned out to be a massive coolant leak while I was in town visiting for a buddy's wedding. The leak, major, meant I could no longer drive the car and simple YouTube video search later - this type of thing happens frequently with BMWs and it is not a replace a hose clamp and move on. As in my case, calls to the nearby autoshops in Orange Beach were to no avail and I they could not even get me in until the next week. Fortunately, my continued calls lead me eventually to Fairfield Imports - who were understanding of my situation and guidance and solutions. I actually don't recall the gentleman at Fairfield Imports, but he even offered me a solution for an excellent towing company (Fletchers Towing) that were quite fair in reasonable in their price. Fairfield Imports then did as they said and came through getting my car's coolant leak fixed the next day. I received a call explaining their diagnosis/explanation of the problem with my car. They got the parts they needed for the repair that day and by the close of business, I received a call telling me that my car was fixed. Additionally, through their business texting - I was able to pay my bill and how to pick up my keys in the outside lockbox, which was really handy as I was able to pick my car up after hours (after they closed). I actually never met the gentleman from Fairfield Imports. All our business was done over the phone and through their texting. Their price for the work that was done was more then fair and reasonable considering what all actually had to be replaced and fixed (thanks to BMW making plastic coolant parts!). I am very pleased with the service and care I received. Finally, had it not been their recommendation for towing - I would have likely paid 3-4 times more for towing. (Note: there seems to be a racket in towing prices locally in the Orange Beach, Al area so be careful - they tend to overcharge for out of town visitors)From their initial recommendation of an excellent/reasonable priced towing service (Fletchers Towing), quick repair of a complex BMW problem, calling/keeping me informed, fair price/service, easy to manage online billing services, off hours locker/key pickup - I am VERY pleased I took my BMW to Fairfield Imports. They treated me VERY well and also did not take advantage that I was from out of town and needed my car fixed quickly to get back to work. GREAT JOB!!!Service: Auto water leak repair

Fairfield Imports were truly so helpful! I was helped by Will and Richard and they are very honest, efficient, fast, knowledgeable and respectable. They were truly so kind and provided solutions to my car troubles! I had a lot of things popping up on my dash and I was panicking since I had a big road trip coming up in a few days. They ordered my parts the day I stopped by (Thursday near closing time) and took care of my car that Monday. I can only say the highest of them! Also, incredible customer service. I highly recommend and wish I came to them sooner! P.S. they have a fixed hourly rate of $125 currently in June 2023, which I thought was nice and demonstrated their integrity as a company!

Something worth considering if you're active duty or moving: I had my car serviced and it was determined my alternator was failing. I paid and had my car's coolant serviced, alternator replaced (as I was informed), and A/C filters replaced. The issue is the parts are not necessarily sourced from BMW to save money, which is fine as long as you're staying local. You can bring your vehicle in and it will be covered under warranty if within the time frame. In my case, my car's alternator was replaced and within about one year later after I had moved the alternator had failed so spectacularly it ruined my battery and because I no longer live in Pensacola, there is nothing this shop can do and they cannot coordinate with the dealership I am currently having service my car. According to the dealership, my alternator was putting out between 18 and 0 volts to the battery. In short, the parts are not necessarily from BMW and if you move and they fail, even if technically covered under warranty, nothing will be done to help you if you cannot physically deliver your car to their shop. They need both the car and defective part in order to file a claim with their distributor.I found their service fine and the desk always quickly answers the phone and they seem pretty transparent. I wished more could be done about my situation but it's out of their hands. Just be careful if you're going to move in the future.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning, Oil change

Inquired online for a quote on brakes. They replied very quickly and told me when to bring it in. Saved $500+ vs the dealership. Car was done on time and at the same price. No surprises. Good communication. Friendly. Will definitely go back!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Richard and his team were able to replace my 2008 X3 dead battery in less than 5 minutes. The dealership service you get around town does not compare to the transparency and care that this shop provides. They helped me out in my emergency situation when they were slam packed with appointments. Give them a chance and you will be a repeat customer.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Battery

Very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. Definitely knows how to work on BMWs. Also I felt like they were able to help me out and get the car fixed much faster than the dealership ever is. They were able to help me the same day to get everything sorted. Not really sure if the repairs ended up being that much cheaper than the BMW dealer ($615 for a battery and alignment), but they are expensive cars so that's to be expected. Either way I would feel totally comfortable leaving my car to their care again.

If you have a Mini Cooper, spend the extra couple hundred dollars and go the dealership. The attitude and hassle isn t worth the money. This place doesn t have appointments and no guarantees on times. I had work done at this place earlier this year. Then had routine maintenance completed at the dealership and they said the same problem is still occurring. This place didn t even take time to investigate the problem, took pictures and took my money, like they didn t even care. The dealership may cost more, but they are thorough and will keep you in the loop with problems. I highly recommend Chris from Mini of Pensacola.Additional reply: hmmm so you charged me to just charge me? That s great customer serviceService: General repairs & maintenance

Great experience!! Work performed well. Richard and office staff were so helpful and nice. Bought my wife a BMW 335i convertible. They performed everything we requested including a complete evaluation of the vehicle and full service. Highly recommended! James

I had a fantastic experience at this repair shop. I called the morning they opened after their Christmas break ended. That afternoon they were able to work on my vehicle, a 2009 335i. In the span of 3-4 hours, they replaced the starter, walnut blasted my intakes, and changed the oil. They also let me pick my car up that same evening after hours due to my situation. The mechanic I spoke with was extremely knowledgeable, and the price I was charged was very reasonable. The quality of the work done was top-notch. I would 100% recommend this repair shop to anyone else who truly cares about their vehicle.

Knowledgeable about BMW. Competitive pricing. I've taken my vehicle here for years for routine maintenance and Richard feels honest. He doesn't perform repairs unless necessary or looming problems. I've never left feeling like he tacked something on to charge extra.

Outstanding experience. Could not have been any better. I generally do every bit of my own work on all my cars but was really pressed for time so took it to Fairfield Imports. I knew what needed to be done and I asked them to go thru the car from nose to tail with a critical eye as I did not want to miss anything that could cause an issue. They came back with exactly the same issue I saw which was good news. First, I was right in what I believed needed to be done and second they did not try to run up the bill. Honest, prompt and professional organization. In addition they use quality parts. No junk here. OEM or OE parts which is without question the right way to go. Thanks guys!!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

I was very happy that I found this amazing shop, worth the drive from Navarre, if you own an BMW this is where you need to be going. From now on, ALL work including oil changes will be trusted to this shop. The owner was excellent, walked me through everything that he did and didn't treat me like I was stupid. He was knowledgeable and had a sincere interest in my car. The work that was done on my car cost me less then half of what the dealership wanted to charge me. I was considering buying a different brand of car in the future, but I will be staying with BMW because I have a great place to take it!

I got my BMW repaired here, it needed a transmission fluid and filter change and new spark plugs. I got the transmission fixed first because that was what I could afford at the time and I knew I could do the spark plugs myself after working on my car successfully before. The transmission fluid and filter was changed and that went well although it cost me almost 600 dollars and when I came to pick up my car I was told off and treated like an idiot who didn't know how to care for her car. I had to walk away while I was still being berated, it really sucked. At least the transmission is good to go, but I will not be going back and I would never recommend.Edit: Response to owner response. Thank you for apologizing. Your work on the car was great and I am happy with how it is running. As a young woman I am often treated badly when dealing with mechanics and was hoping it would be different. I bought and am paying for my BMW all by myself and have done a lot of maintenance and work on it all on my own. I did not grow up being taught how to take care of a car so it is a big learning curve, but I am smart and capable and pay attention whenever I feel something is wrong. With a full time job and no family to help out it can be iffy though with time and money, therefore it is hard to get everything done at once. I have found ways to carpool to my job until I can make sure my car is good to go and I won't be hurting it. I care about my car just as much if not more than you guys because it is so necessary in my life and I have put a lot of time and money into it. In the future, I would like to be shown in the car exactly what is wrong so I can be aware of everything I need to do to fix it and prevent future problems and it would be helpful to acknowledge that I don't have money to just keep giving even though I wish I did and I would have loved to get it all fixed and have this be over with. I do value your expertise and I understand the importance of maintaining my car.

Far better than Mini of Pensacola in terms of price, service, and speed. I've had my mini there twice and they've done an excellent job both times. I brought my car in on Monday, they had it finished the next day despite the work needing to be done. You can even text them! Never have I had such an awesome service as texting my technician; being able to get live updates and quotes without speaking over the phone during a busy day is amazing.

I wouldn't trust my '06 325i to anyone else. Richard and his staff are always friendly, accommodating, and honest. I've owned my BMW for over 10 years and 100,000 miles and I know Fairfield Imports will be there to see it through 200,000. They are the most honest and respectable mechanics I have ever dealt with. You will wonder why you ever went anywhere else.

Absolutely amazing service. If you have a BMW that needs work done you should definitely bring it to these guys. They are fast, honest and fair. I have owned used BMW's for the better part of 10 years and have never had this level of service, at an independent or a dealer. The pricing is so great you almost have to pinch yourself. Richard does not mark up his parts and the labor prices are fantastic.I had to take my 05 X5 in for a myriad of things; the check engine light was on, there was an odd gas smell when I put in in reverse and the transmission was kicking when it down shifted. I was told by the dealership I bought the car from that this was just the computer and a seal that needed to be replaced and of course the warranty we had did not cover seals. This shop charged me over $1000 for a job that took less than 2 hours to complete. It took Richard less than this to tell me the actual problem was the clutch was tearing apart and the pieces of the clutch were getting caught in the gears, meaning I needed a brand new transmission. Luckily the warranty did cover this. Unfortunately it took the dealer 9 weeks to send a new transmission to Fairfield. During that time Richard was patient and kept up a friendly spirit, constantly telling us it was no problem that my car was sitting there for that long. Once the tranny finally arrived they had it installed and the car ready to go in less than 24 hours. The check engine light was showing a thermostat problem but Richard advised the thermostat was working just fine and there was no need to throw money at computer glitch that would not stop the light from coming on. And the gas smell was a quick 5 minute fix that he didn't charge us for. I am so happy that we found Fairfield Imports and for the first time in my life, a mechanic that I can trust. If you have an import I would encourage you to give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed.

While everything was handled well and the custom service was nice I had to wait 1hr for an oil change, totalling $100. This was because my 2019 bmw had a newer oil filter that took a while to find. Not really a complaint because I'll definitely be going back but just a simple inconvenience.

Fairfield Imports is an awesome operation. They have great prices and really know their stuff. I have taken my Audi in multiple times over the period of about 13 months with some minor issues that they have all been resolved. They seem to know everything about my car, and I trust the EXPERT and HONEST advice. Multiple times I have had issues that the staff fixed without charging me a dime. Work I have had done: multiple oil changes (5), random warning lights(3-4), and a 75,000 mile tune up. Richard (the head honcho) is a nice guy and seems to really love cars and particularly BMWs. I highly recommend Fairfield Imports and wish I could take them with me to my next duty station. Its great knowing a car guy you can trust

Richard is the only mechanic I let work on my BMW.I was lucky to find Fairfield Import when I moved here. Richard has great work ethics and will go out of his way to keep your car running like a new one. I just had an engine change in my 535i after an accident and USAA (my insurance company) could not say enough good thing about the work Richard has done for their customers in the past. Hands down the best choice for BMW owners.

Fantastic! I took my 07 MINI Cooper in because I was experiencing and intermittent misfire in cylinder 2. I did the normal troubleshooting that the more experienced home mechanic can do changing plugs, moving coil packs around etc., but the problem persisted. I didn t want to just throw new parts at the car in the hope that I d fix the problem; that can get expensive and cause new problems to pop up. I wanted to know what was going on and I don t have that type of diagnostic equipment at home; it s expensive!I initially succeeded in clearing my check engine light related to the misfire, but I still experienced an intermittent rough idle condition, so I took the car to my local MINI dealer for a diagnosis. They failed to identify the problem. Sometime later, the misfire event reappeared, and the check engine light was on again.Richard and his team were able to isolate the cause of the misfire to an intermittent fault with the cylinder 2 injector and improper spark plugs, plugs a website had listed for my MINI. He also took the time to explain the technical details of the problem, and I really appreciate the additional information!I do almost all of my own work, and have over 30 years of working on aircraft, cars, personal watercraft, and anything that has an engine. Every now and then, everyone may need a second opinion. If you fall into that group, Fairfield Imports is a great resource. Thanks guys!!!

We are a BMW family, loving those with a bit of age to them. Richard is very straightforward and simple in quickly diagnosing a problem. He knows the vehicles so well, he has pinpoint accuracy in all of the resolutions he proposes. I have most appreciated how he serves our family when we are in a crunch with quick turnaround, flexibility, all without being charged anymore.Thank you Richard for loving what you do and helping others while you do it!

Richard definitely knows his stuff and was great to deal with. Their prices are the best I've found in town for amazing quality work that uses O.E.M. parts. I would definitely recommend the guys at Fairfield imports to anyone looking for an honest, straight forward team to service their vehicles.
