We found this gem a few years ago when we were looking for a mechanic for our cars. I highly recommend Rodney and his staff for your auto repair! They re honest, dependable, and their work is always outstanding. Some shops will try to add things you don t need but no at DeBroux. If they find you need a part replaced you can be sure it s a needed repair. I ve taken my car there and told Rodney what I thought the problem was, they researched it and said no, you don t need that expensive repair, you need X, which was less expensive and fixed the problem! You won t go wrong be using DeBroux Automotive!

Awful service. Brought vehicle in 3 times. Got charged for garbage service. Never took care of our problems but created more. Brought our car to another mechanic who put it on a lift and showed us everything that needed to be fixed in order to address problems that Debroux neglated to fix but charge us for it. Worst service I've ever seen and had the misfortune to have worst experience in 40 years.A solid 1 star for Rodney. However the other staff either don't care for customer service or too lazy.

My wife was in the air force and we moved to Pensacola for 3 years. During that time we were honored to have taken our cars multiple times throughout year to this very spot for oil changes. Very affordable oil change and the environment overall is quite nice. Was never charged for any extra work or given any negativity whats so ever. If you need a place for an oil change, I would definitely recommend Debroux.

Huge thank you to Dusty for coming through in a pinch! It s hard to find someone who will touch a Volkswagen no matter the issue. Can t say how happy I was with his customer service, knowledge, and ability to fix the issue. Thanks again!!

I cannot let my experience with DeBroux Automotive pass without posting a comment on this business. My daughter attends college in Pensacola and is 1.5 hours from our home. She recently called, upset that her car was running very poorly as she was driving to work late one afternoon. She couldn't really articulate the problem and was getting more upset as the call went on.I instructed her to pull into the closest parking lot while I looked online for some assistance. My Google search revealed DeBroux Automotive near her location. When I called, Rodney, the owner, answered on the second ring. He listened patiently,then instructed me to direct her to his shop, offering driving directions and a helpful description of his building. Rodney told me he would meet her in the parking lot and give her 2020 VW Tiguan a quick look to see if he could determine the problem. Mind you, this was 45 minutes before his advertised closing time.When my daughter arrived 15 minutes later, she was greeted by Rodney and he examined the car as promised. He ran a computer scan which revealed 10 error codes (!). Without going into great detail of the problem, suffice it to say that, simply by asking me a few questions, he determined the cause and proposed a possible solution.RodnY asked us to leave her car overnight so that he could work on it in the morning. He told me he would call me in the morning to update me on the status. He then waited past his closing time for my daughter's friend to arrive to give her a eide back to her dorm.The next morning, everything happened according to Rodney's statements. He initiated a phone call late morning to advise me that he had worked on the car and that his suspicions were confirmed. He had already applied the fix and the car was ready for my daughter to pick it up. Cost? $90.I told Rodney how frustrating it was to have my little girl far away when she need my help and that I appreciated the care and attention he provided. He told me that his daughter was in college a couple states away, so he understands how I felt.I was fortunate to find DeBroux Automotive when I needed them. Rodney is a skilled mechanic, a great father and a solid man.

Went there for a trip check on my car. After I took the car home in supposed great shape, I realized I had NO brakes. Catastrophic failure they called. Hmmmm. Cost another $704. to fix. They did claim any responsibility. Just a coincidence. Damn. My luck.

Even when they could have made several thousand dollars off of us, they recommended we replace our car instead of repairing it. They patiently explained the issue in great detail & helped us figure out our options. We highly recommend this business and will take our future repairs to them.

Rodney and the guys at Debroux are fantastic. They worked on my truck and I have no complaints. They are very busy and you may have to wait on getting an appointment, but they are very upfront about their estimates for both cost and time. I also appreciated that they were willing to install parts I already had on hand, but please talk with them before you order parts for your vehicle!I won't hesitate taking my truck back there in the future if I needed to! You shouldn't hesitate with your vehicle either!

A lot of customers showed up first thing, but they got us all checked in and once my vehicle was checked, they called with the repair plan and had the work done reasonably quickly and my truck runs as good as ever. The cost of the repair was fair and the customer service was friendly and professional. I have found my new auto service home (recently moved to Pensacola).

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I came down to Pensacola for vacation and on Saturday night my wheel bearing started to squeal and my abs light came on. I called Debroux s on Monday (the day I was planning to return home) and let them know that I needed it fixed for that day in order to get home. Rodney was extremely professional, respectful, and accommodating of my situation and worked me into their schedule to get my truck fixed that day with a very reasonable price to go along with it. 10/10 will be back if I am ever in the area and in need of repairs or maintenance again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've been going here with my 03 F-250 since Rodney opened the doors. Always a fair price and done right the first time. If he can't fix your vehicle? He'll tell you right up front that he can't.

I had a misfire in one of my ignition coils. (8 cylinder car) I was quoted over 400$ for a tune up at another shop to find and swap it out. My friend recommended these guys. They did it for $50 with me bringing my own part in under 30 min. Great service. CJ at the counter was super friendly.

Found myself a new Auto mechanic. Well, not entirely new, I have also used them in the past, but I'm pleased to say I'm now using DeBroux Automotive on North Davis for my auto repair needs. I've been very pleased with the last two jobs they've done for me. Rodney is a nice fella and does you right. Apparently, I'm in the minority. I asked for an oil change. They did not carry my filter, so he said he would order it and call me when it was received. Not only did he never call me, but when I called and left a message, hoping to get someone to let me know if the filter had been received, no one returned my call.So, this was very poor customer service on all counts. Was totally impressed that they didn't just go in and started switching parts, they identified the problem and then fixed it. Professional all the way and shop was neat, clean and organized. They took the time to explain and answer my questions.

Worst mechanic shop I ve been at. They did not communicate on prices or on the work they were going to do. Spent $300+ on a camshaft sensor to be replace since I was told that would fix my misfires. When I received it not even a mile on the street I started to get misfires and codes were back. They obviously didn t even run it after fixing the problem.Service: Engine repair

DeBroux Automotive fixed two problems with my vehicle within 24 hours. The local Dodge dealership service department had told me I would need to wait THREE WEEKS just to get an appointment to bring my vehicle in. Also, the repairs ended up being far simpler and less expensive than I expected. It would have been very easy for the mechanic to tell me these electronic problems required new parts or extra labor, but that didn't happen. Also, the guy who I talked with treated me with friendly courtesy and the conversation seemed almost like we had been pals for years. I will definitely rely on DeBroux Automotive for all my future auto service needs. One more note . . . they were able to easily work with my auto insurance to ensure most of the cost was covered.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical

Highly recommend - this is a great repair shop with excellent mechanics and fair pricing for the great work they do. They also are very conveniently located off Davis Highway just north of 10. Most important to me is an owner who is willing to recommend what is in the customer's best interest and not just the service that will make their shop the most money.Over 30 years, I've owned many vehicles that have surpassed 200k miles. Recently I was considering an expensive ($2k+) repair at their shop on a 15-year old vehicle with over 300k miles. They were willing to do the work with my vehicle already in their shop, but gave me plenty of time not rushing me to make a decision. After several hours, when I mentioned an option to trade that same vehicle in at a car dealership that would take it "as is" knowing it needed repairs and give us over $2k for the vehicle on trade, the owner of DeBroux encouraged us to go that route, which made them zero profit. And we are very happy with our newer vehicle, which received its first oil change at DeBroux Automotive yesterday.That's just one example of many for why I trust this team of professionals at DeBroux and believe you'll be happy with them as well. Having car issues in Pensacola? Don't even think of options, just go to DeBroux. Was convinced brake pads were worn and prepared to replace them, no questions asked. Rodney and his tech showed me that each of the 4 pads were fine and explained what humidity does to brakes (I just moved here from the desert!). They put the tires back on and I drove away without spending a penny! Thank you, DeBroux!

The staff was pleasant to deal with and worked on the vehicle when they said they would. I found them to be trustworthy because I took my SUV in for an oil leak and they fixed it inexpensively. Took my sons car there to have a starter put on his Infinity G37. First of all the price they told me it would cost was WAY LESS than previous quotes I had already received and the person on the phone was as professional as you could hope to have. They fixed it the same day and now they have a customer for life, I won't even call around anymore if we need mechanic work done! If you dont take your car here you're making a mistake because good , honest mechanics are hard to find these days but luckily I have found one and like I said, me and my family are customers for life! Trust me, this place is top notch and im so glad I called them!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Rodney and his team at Debroux are incredible to work with. We take all our fleet vehicles to them for routine maintenance as well as problems. They are quick but always fix our problems and we never have to take our vehicles back a second time for the same thing. They are professional, kind, courteous, and practice Christian ethics in their business practices. Great service. My car sounds and drives now, like it's the day I bought it, five years ago. Tried to take my car somewhere else first and it was big mistake, misdiagnosed and price tag was twice more expensive. Very happy my boyfriend pointed out this place. Will be coming back for repairs.

I had two other shops tell me nothing was wrong with my car that blew intermittent cold air. I was lucky to find this shop. They re very professional and polite. I was extremely happy with the AC repair they did.

Finding an honest, affordable mechanic has been very difficult after moving here. I used to take my car to an independent mechanic back home; they have earned mine and my friends repeated business due to their sheer integrity and honesty-- they go out of their way to save their customers money. They once charged me $72 for: an air filter change, an oil change, a headlight bulb change, a power steering pump flush/fluid change, and fixing a break squeak.Since that was my first and only mechanic experience, I did not consider that perhaps their services were highly underpriced. I learned this the hard way with Debroux. I took a Volvo I was planning on purchasing for a PPI and they performed one for $100 no big deal, a little costly, but I wanted to make sure I wasn t buying a lemon as a project car, so I went through with it. They did a good, thorough, job so I decided to bring back my own car the next day for a quick pricing breakdown on a handful of items I already knew needed fixing one of their guys assured me I would not be charged until I decided to get the repairs approved. I expected a similar experience since they seemed competent and trustworthy. Long story short, I walked out with a quite exorbitant $146 bill ($100 inspection + $30 lightbulb change) for a 30 minute inspection . Hell, I even had to rescue one of the bulbs from the trash can because the mechanic didn t notice I had provided him with two. Not the best experience.It seems the big problem was miscommunication. He said I "would not be charged anything" until I approved the repairs. They did quickly reach out to me with a full breakdown after I raised these concerns, but it was too late. I am sure they are good mechanics and good people, but again, attention to detail is everything.

These guys are just great people! Usually I feel anxious about repair shops and don't know really who to trust. Very kind people with reasonable pricing, and done in a timely manner. My motor mount had broke, and it is now running great. And never did I feel he was trying to up sale little extra's like many shops do. Thanks Rodney, Deanna, and team!

Amazing customer service. I often feel like some mechanics are out for my wallet. Not here, he was constantly trying to save me money while ensuring my car was properly fixed. Highly recommend if you are looking for a solid mechanic that you can trust.
