Be advised, you re pulling up to a residential address. No issue, just be advised. And apparently it doesn t matter how friendly you approach Brent. He s a jerk. Within the 90 seconds I spoke with him, I was interrupted before I could finish explaining the work, well I ain t gonna do it today! My response, no of course, sir. I m just looking to make business. He says, you mean give me business? (Lol Sure, buddy. Because business doesn t go both ways) and I could tell he was busy probably other things going on too. But you re rude, man. He concluded the conversation with I got this and that and yada yada and I don t have time to talk mufflers. Didn t proceed to take my information or anything. HahaOkay. I m glad to not give this guy my money. And yep, my public info is published on here. So sir, it was nice meeting ya. Bad day I guess. Others seem to have had a good interaction with you.

I am very particular about my things and Fred treated my truck like it was his own. I feel he did great work at a fair price and he got it done in a relatively short time period. I recently had work done at Brent rain barrel muffler shop owned by a man named Fred and I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service I received. Fred is a truly great guy - he is friendly, personable, and takes the time to listen to his customers' needs. In terms of his work, it is top-notch - he knows his stuff and does a great job in a timely manner. And the best part is that his prices are very fair - He will tell you what is wrong and what could go wrong, but he doesn't try to upsell or take advantage of his customers. I highly recommend this muffler shop to anyone in need of services - Fred will take great care of you

Brought my 2004 Lincoln towncar to get flow master 10 series put on and it does sound great! I was gonna use another shop before I found Fred but when I called him he was honest about my car and what he recommended that should go on the car so I didn t just waist my money and I d rather someone be honest with me than lie! So if you want a good honest guy to do exhaust work this guy is the one to do the work! Five star rating!! Reasonable price too!!!Service: Exhaust

Had My loud muffler replaced on my Ram 2500. Very professional service at a great price. He gave me a estimate over the phone, when I picked it up it was cheaper than he had estimated. Its not possible to always give a solid estimate over the phone but I haven't had many businesses that come in at a lower price.High Quality at a very fair price. He had me scheduled very quickly. I definitely recommend Brent Rain Barrel Muffler Shop!!! First off, I called last minute spoke with Fred and he told me to bring it in. I told him what I thought, and he gave me a call confirming and discussing options. His service was outstanding!! Very quality work and also informed me of an issue I needed to have looked at. Hill Kelly DODGE recommended I take my RAM here. It was such an easy process and it sounds and looks great. I originally had it done in Mobile,AL and they did a terrible job fitting the exhaust. Very fair price. Knows what he is doing. Had a repair done early this month and I am very pleased with the work. The truck is still running strong. I recommend this guy if you want the job done right the first time. Just be prepared that he will be very straightforward when he speaks.

The owner at rain barrel comes off a little strong, but it's because he knows what he's talking about. He won't sell you anything you don't need. Fair prices, excellent work. He's a one man show, so be prepared to drop off your vehicle, because not only is he doing your work, but he's dealing with customers too. When he did my truck, he gave me the sound I was looking for, at a great price. Recommend him to anybody

The guy didn't even bother trying to even look at my truck in somewhat of a rude tone He basically told me he didn't want to look at my truck. I understand that it's something he might not normally deal with but Essentially I was looking for him to at least be able to point me in the right direction He didn't even bother. God forbid I wasted his time. " I don't wanna look at your truck take it somewhere else " ! Hmmm

Sounds like a few of you need a therapist more than a muffler guy, some people just don't know how valuable "telling it like it is" is. Was having car issues and was SURE it was the catalytic converter, he told me I had numerous other codes and it most likely wouldn't fix the problem,, but me being me had it done anyway against his advise and wouldn't ya know he was absolutely right!! Regardless, it's fixed now. He does great work just don't expect to be coddled,, he's a muffler guy and not a therapist.Service: Exhaust

So we had a problem with our truck(we're from texas and we just wanted to get back home) , and a mecanic saw it and recomended us to go there, and told us that they took walk-ins, just to get there early and talk to him, so we did, and we were there like at 8, he got there, he came up to the door and asked us to move out the way so he can park, (our window doesn't work, so we have to open the door) and my husband is shy speaking english because of his accent, so I was the one that was going to explain what was going on and why we were there early, and the guy said "SPEAK ENGLISH, YOU'RE IN AMERICA" TO MY HUSBAND!!! I was in disbelief that someone would say something like that... I explained what the truck had and that's where he told us that he only did drop offs and he had no waiting area.. honestly we just left... he might do good work but that attitude and rude comments are not it !!!

I needed to get a couple of tailpipes put on my car and I was having some trouble finding someone who wanted to take on the joib as it required a bit of customization as a previous owner had installed long tube headers and "mickey moused" the rest of the exhaust system. Fred looked at it and said he could take care of it and quoted me a very fair price for the work. I left the car with him and he had it done the next day. He actusally redid everything as nothing was the way he would want it on his own car, everything welded and tight. I've no driven this for a couple of weeks and the exhaust doesn't scrape, leak, or rattle. Great job, fair price, quality work. Support your local small business man, Pensacola and patronize this guy. Very highly recommended.

I just called to get a basic estimate and the person that asnwered the seemed to not have any customer service skills what so ever. When I asked for an estimate on my truck he said that I was there yesterday and that I didn't want it done for $40. I WAS a first time caller and have never been there before. Jumping to conclusions like that to potential customers is never and he wasn't even apologetic. To me $40 does not seem to be alot, but rest assured, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Bad attitude, NO customer service, and just hung up on me.

Got a new muffler custom welded onto my BMW. He did a great job, same day service, and price was very reasonable.I would recommend him to anyone needing exhaust work done.

Guy is a total jerk. Trying to quote a cat-back bolt on and he goes in to this tirade about how he doesn't replace catalyst converters with straight pipe. After explaining to him this doesn't replace the cat, he then goes into this tirade about how the brand I have is the cheapest junk in the whole world and it doesn't fit right and would be $200 minimum. Explained to him again that I researched all of this work, and he then tells me that I should do it myself since I'm so smart. Total jerk. Will never do business with this place, and I pay with cash money.
