Larry has been my go-to mechanic for 5 years now since he was referred by a friend. He always makes time to get me on the schedule even when I m just in town for a visit since moving last year from pensacola. He s always friendly and goes above and beyond, even if I just stop in to have my tires checked and oil topped off on the way out of town. Just two weeks ago, my check engine light came on, I needed a tune up (coils and spark plugs replaced) he was able to take care of it right away and then refer me to someone he trusted to work on the transmission. There were further issues after the transmission was fixed and Larry was able to get me back in to clean out the carburetor, add fuel injection fluid and replace battery and windshield wiper as well as make sure tires and oil were good. His staff is wonderful, he is always thorough with his work, I don t go to anyone else unless it s something he can t work on!He also rents Uhaul trucks and was able to set me up when I moved last summer. He made it easy for pick up and handled everything for me to return the truck in Nola. Larry is hands down the best mechanic around! I wish I came to Larry sooner, but I m just so happy that I did! My neighbor recommended him when I needed my car fixed and the dealership quoted me extremely high, so I called Larry and he got me in fast and took such good care! Not only that but I booked my uhaul from him for my move and he was fantastic!! Quality people at this place!

In my opinion the finest service station in our town, grew up going here to get fuel as a kid with my mom and sister and since they have stopped selling fuel Larry has moved into full services on all types of vehicles. And hosts a U-Haul rental center. I have used him for many things including U-Haul it s always an enjoyable experience You will be treated like family and get the best deal in town. Larry is hands on with every vehicle and every client. A Small town family ran business just like your parents and grandparents were used to. I don't even know where to start! Larry is the real deal. I thought these reviews had to be a little exaggerated, but no. This might be the nicest person I have literally ever met. He went SO out of his way to help me, like more than just above and beyond. When I got there it was clearly closed. Just as I was looking up other shops, Larry pulled up and came over to my car and asked me how he could help. I explained the issues and he told me he was closed today and stopped by to do some lawn work. I told him no worries I'll go somewhere else and he said no its no trouble he doesn't mind fixing it today. I had no other ride I had planned on just sitting around until it was done but he said he didn't want me to do that and since I lived just a few blocks away he would ride with me home, take my car back, fix it, THEN BRING IT BACK!!! AND HE DID! ON HIS DAY OFF!!! I literally was speechless. It was so kind. He didn't want me stranded and did all that. He fixed it up and my car is running perfect now!!!!! It was also probably the cheapest car repair you'll find. I've literally had oil changes as much. He is so beyond kind, knows what he is doing, and is honest about pricing. I'm telling you, do not go anywhere else if your car needs fixin' go to Larry!!!! Support him!!!

In as much as it s possible to have a good experience with a breakdown, I salute Adkison s service station. The owner/mechanic was knowledgeable, efficient and fair in his pricing. Called 3 times. Never answered the phone. Message says to leave a message to be called back. Never called me back. Finally went to the shop and asked if I could get an appointment to have my car evaluated. When I told him type of vehicle, he smirked and said, No thanks man.

I got a new-to-me car last April, and I have had to take it to the shop twice. Both times have been to Adkinson's. Larry has a customer for life! If you drive by, you'll always see a full lot. There's a reason for that; Larry is fair, friendly, goes the extra mile, and it's worth the wait (if you have one). I've never been more pleased with a shop.

I've known Larry since the 3rd grade. He was a good friend back in those early years. I haven't seen him since our teen years but I always knew of his family's business. I stopped in for some scheduled maintenance today and he's exactly how I remembered him. Very friendly. He saved me a good bit of money and did great work. It was nice to get reacquainted. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend Adkison's Service Center.

I was extremely pleased with all of the interactions that I've had at Atkison's. For example, I had taken my SUV to the local dealership for routine maintenance only to be told that in order for them to finish working on my car that I would need to have a service completed totaling $1,400. Being someone who knows a little about cars, I knew something was fishy and I wanted a second opinion. I was new to town at the time, and a coworker recommended Atkinson's because they personally us this shop. I explained what was told to me at the dealership to Larry. He and his team quickly and correctly assessed my SUV only to confirm that the dealership was trying to pull a fast one. They ended up saving me $1,325. The staff here are quality individuals who are honest, and truly care about their customers!

When you're new to the city or state it's hard to find someone you trust to work on your vehicle. Look no further.From small things like a side view mirror that needs replaced to major repairs they have never let me down. The service is efficient, fair, and trustworthy.If you're like me and you'd rather give your money to someone in your community; you found your shop.Plus he's the nicest, sincere, honest man in the business. At least that I've met.

I came in tonight with the thought of having a 7 pm u haul reservation. The people at u haul completely screwed up and there was no truck available for me. I was severely pissed off so I called u haul to find a solution. U haul told me basically I was screwed because it was my fault I didn't answer a text I never received nor a call I never got. While I was fuming Larry (I hope that's what his name was) was very kind to me and did everything in his power to make it right even though u hauls mistake had nothing to do with him. Larry got me a slightly smaller truck, and gave me many amenities to compensate me for my troubles. Not to mention he was already 2 hours over on his scheduled time out because he was helping someone else out with car troubles. I have major respect for his customer service because I left feeling happy even though u haul screwed me. Now I understand why his family business has been thriving since 1959. Thank you for your excellent service!

Larry is a gentleman, first, and seemingly very ethical, helpful, honest, and hardworking small business owner started by his father 44 yrs ago. If my one-time experience (Uhaul) is any indication, then his service business is likely second to none!Just helped a friend move to PNS...I will suggest to her that she take her auto service needs to Adkinson s Pure Service.

Excellent fast reliable service! Came in right at the price they estimated. Timmy and Larry Adkison are good at what they do, and they stand behind their work.Timmy showed me the new part. It has a lifetime warranty. So he dated it and wrote infoon the new part, in case we need a new unit.They will ESCALATE what you think a mechanic should be.

I just started living off Scenic Highway and my car broke down a week or two later and I needed a quick, local fix before work that day luckily I was able to speak with L and he happily diagnosed my car over the phone and recommended a tow truck company also pleased with them too. To my astonishment I was able to make it to work that day as L managed to prioritize my car. tragedy averted.
