I took my 2008 Chevy Tahoe to have repairs did and found out that it was electrical problems and they really work with me they tried one thing and it didn't fix the problem and then I brought it back to them and told me they was not going to give up on the problems. they know that it wasn't a problem with the transmission it was electrical and they continue to work with me until they got the problem fix and I thank them for their patient with me keep bringing it back I hate to make this long review but I really appreciate them for not giving up. And they told me they will not recharge me unless it was something different.

Quality work at a fair price I appreciate not getting ripped off. Employees know what they are doing. Saved my transmission did a transmission cooler and new radiator.

100% recommend bringing your vehicle here for any transmission work, especially something as serious as a rebuild. They do a fantastic job explaining the work, give a high confidence in the quality of their work, and get you back on the road quickly.

I almost never give a five star review but these guys really deserve it. They looked at my transmission and did several diagnostics to try and figure out what the problem was. Eventually they reset the computer and what I expected to be a $4000 to $5000 fix, cost me not a dime. Not only did they not charge me a fee for anything, but because I was stuck at my house 50 miles away with no car, they sent the owner s son out to deliver my car to me! To say their customer service is above and beyond is an understatement, they are amazing!!!Service: Transmission

Earl is the most honest and generous automotive professional I've ever worked with! He diagnosed the issue with my transmission quickly and went above and beyond with resolving the problem. Amazingly, he would not charge me since there was no "repair" made other than cleaning off some electrical components. This is unheard of in my experience and as such Earl has earned a new loyal customer. Thank you sir!Service: Transmission

I took an old1946 jeep to them for some work on the transfer case. They got me scheduled in and completed the task in a timely manner. Errol at AAMCO Pensacola is a true straight shooter. I dropped my truck off at the shop on a Monday afternoon like we had discussed, he gave me a timeline of when he would be able to diagnose the truck and what the repairs would be needed and that he would reach out to me before purchasing any parts for my repair. Sure enough almost exactly when he said he would, Errol gave me a call (that I missed!) and left a text message explaining the situation with the truck. Unfortunately due to extraneous circumstances, and change of the scope of the repair, Errol said he was unable to continue the repair. He then gave a detailed explanation of why and what could be done in the mean time, even giving tips on how to fix it myself if I so chose to, and gave me a recommendation of a shop who could do the work as well. It was extremely helpful and I have no problem recommending AAMCO.

From at very beginning the manager was great and very informativeHe got upwith very quickly and told what was wrong with my transmission. They rebuilt my transmission and gave me a 2 year warranty. The transmission is better then it was brand new. I am a very happy customer. My truck was a 2015 F150 platinum. I am very picky person .Service: Transmission

I have used AAmco many times in other States, so I have had good results, and I chose to drive to Pensacola FL to have Maggie, my F-150's transmission serviced. I had made an appointment the day prior to my getting serviced.The Manager Earl, got me started right away. I described what was happening with Maggie's shifting issue. Robbie then picked up the key, and took her for a test drive on the surface streets, and then on the Interstate. He reported back to Earl how he attempted to duplicate my description of the issue. He could find no big issues, to which I was pleased to hear!Robbie pulled Maggie into the service bay, and Earl began explaining what he thought might be the correction needed.A change of fluid plus a new filter and complete check over. I said let's do it! Earl explained the service would take about 2.5- 3 hrs.Earl offered me coffee or water while I waited.During my wait the phone was ringing off the desk. I could that to be a good sign; others must have a good feeling about my choices.While waiting, I heard The so with other customers. I fully believe this man Earl; provided one the best possible talents, for excellent customer service that I have witnessed. He was kind, respectful, and provided the Best explanations for their problems given. Earl treated each and every caller as family.All the employees conducted themselves in the same manner.I know this is a long review, however I believe one should let others know about the EXCELLENT customer service the Manager, and the employees provide to a man they never met beforehand. Yes it was a trip from Foley to the shop, but in my estimation it was worth the trip!The shop is at 5655 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola, FL 32503,near the Pensacola international Airport. I don't think you will be disappointed, I was not, and I am picky about who touches my Maggie!

I don't normally write Google reviews but I wanted to do one for these guys because I could not recommend them enough! I had a transmission malfunction warning come up in my car after changing out a dead battery. I made an appointment over the weekend on their website and was able to bring my car in as early as Monday morning.They communicated to me a couple hour wait to diagnose the issue, but within literally 35-40 minutes they came back to me to tell me that I simply had a glitch within my system and that they had already taken care of the issue. They even did this for me free of charge! Now my car is running as it should. Thanks for taking care of my car so promptly, I will absolutely recommend anyone I know having any transmission issues or concerns to come hereService: Transmission

My family and I were stuck 1500 miles from home with a transmission problem. Every other place I called in town wouldnt even look at my truck for at least a week. They got me in first thing Monday morning. The Manager I worked with, Errol, really cared about our situation and did everything he could to get us back on the road as soon as possible. I brought my car into 2 places before being referred to AAMCO, with the highest recommendation. Errol and Brennan were incredible! They both worked together to quickly diagnose my issue (within a day) that many other places couldn t figure out at all. They gave me multiple options, including options that didn t include using their services. Had my other mechanic look over my car for weeks and couldn t figure out the problem. These guys had it for an hour and knew! Josh is super courteous and helpful, and answered all my questions. They we easy to work with, got my car back quickly, gave me a fair price for a transmission, and even helped me get a rental. Everyone hates to have to replace a transmission, but if you have to, these are the folks to go to! They do other work there too and I m sure would be just as amazing at that.

Helpful and friendly. They will give you a ride if you have to drop your vehicle off for several hours. Josh is trying to do everything he can for your car and financial concerns. I'm very satisfied with the work he and the mechanic (I'm sorry I didn't get his name!) did for me and will definitely be coming back when I can!

Brought my car in a few weeks back and Josh was super helpful and respectful. They took extra time to make sure the job was done well and provided me with a doable payment plan. Can't ask for more than that. Transmission problems are super stressful and it helps knowing that I'm driving a safe vehicle now.Edit: Small complaint after I've completed my payment... Make sure to ask for a rebate form if you will be using a synchrony payment plan for over $1,000. I wasn't given a rebate form and I left the store understanding the payment needed to be completed before receiving it (which is not the case). So now I'm out $200 that I've been expecting as the promotion period has ended.
