I recently bought an old W203 (C230), after buying it, I realized it needed to get its crankshaft balancer and timing gear replaced. I live in Texas but familiar with the quality and professionalism of Handell and his team at Star Auto Techs. I decided to transport the car to Florida and have it repaired by them. They did the repairs; I picked up my car on a Saturday morning just after they finished with it and drove it back to Texas. It was a pleasure to drive, no issues at all. Those guys know what they are doing, they are well trained and have top of the line equipment. They are fully prepared to take care of your Mercedes Benz and BMW. I recommend them 100%.Service: Engine repair

One of a few business owner that I can say honest, fair, reasonable, and very knowledgeable. I was referred here by a service advisor at Mercedes in Pines, at first, I was just taking my cars for oil change but now Star Auto Tech is the only shop I trust for Mercedes and BMW. Highly recommended!

Just picked my car up from Star Auto Tech and was very happy and pleased with the service there. Handell was able to diagnose and repair my C300 in a matter of a few hours.He has tremendous knowledge and experience and found the problem of gasoline odors coming into my a/c vents. Replaced the parts in record turn around time. A very honest man and fair. I highly recommend this place for your auto repairs.

My warranty just ran out right when I needed to take my Mercedes in. I've been using this mechanic shop close to 5 years now. Handell is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, fair, and clear. My 15 year old 2007 ML500 with 140,000 miles is still good and serviceable car and things break and wear out from time to time, but that s to be expected in any older vehicle. I've done many repairs at this shop, and the most recent one was to replace the radiator. Routine service and required repairs are more expensive for cars with fewer options and special features, but using a good independent mechanic keeps the costs reasonable. It s hard to find a good honest mechanic and this is one of them! 10/10 would recommend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is where I get the simple services done because they are less expensive than the dealership and they use the same MB brand name parts and fluids. For major repairs, for which you need to leave your car, it s a gamble because you have to pay for a rental out of pocket if you have to leave your vehicle for couple of days. You will have to assess if it s worth it, as the repair may cost less and make up for the rental expenses.Overall I m satisfied with the services they ve performed so far. Handel is reasonable and will do his best to get you a good deal.

Service is outstanding! I happened to find Star Auto Techs while looking for a repair shop for my MB. Came across them and read the reviews and decided to give them a try. I can honestly say it has been the best experience I could hope for. Diagnostic was done when promised, everything was clearly explained in detail. I m not one to leave reviews, but they definitely earned the 5 stars. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who owns an MB or BMW. Excellent pricing and honest work.

Handell the owner has been taking care of my Mercedes since the end of my warranty 4 years ago. Prices are far better than the dealership. He does not take advantage or overprice because I am woman like some mechanics. I am very pleased with the professionalism and the quality of service provided. I only trust Handell with my vehicle and I am a repeat customer for a reason.

Handell has been great to do business with...I've taken two different cars to him and he recommended work that needed to be performed to insure the safety and longevity of my vehicles. Star Auto Techs is a repair shop you can trust...if they say something needs to be repaired or replaced, then you can be confident you're being told the truth...a rare quality for a lot of businesses these days.

EXCELLENT Customer Service and Courtesy. My Mercedes warranty ended now I have a Certified Shop to perform maintenance work on it. This shop is very prompt, quick to address the issues and gives quotes to you up front. Great location and has a Rental Car Company contact if you have to leave your car for any reason. I recommend the Star Auto Techs for your Premium Car needs.

I've taken my Mercedes to Star Auto Techs on several occasions for routine service and for repairs, but this is the first time that I've written a review. However, my experience has been the same each time. Handel and his employees are very professional and honest, and the service and repairs are done perfectly. I have high expectations when I have my cars serviced, so by my estimate, a five star review is well-earned. I will continue to use Star Auto Techs and recommend it to anyone needing service on their Mercedes.

Excellent Service and Value !! I have taken my cars to Handell the owner, since 2011 and I have never had a single problem. He is knowledgeable on these very high tech cars, fixing my simplest to the most complicated issues. Not once have I taken any car back for the same issue that has been fixed. Yet when I was under the Mfg. Warranty, on several occasions I had to take my car back to the Mercedes dealer for the same issue. I trust him completely with my cars and recommend him without hesitation !!

I have been servicing my car at Star Auto Techs for a while now and every time, Handel is very honest about the repairs that need to be done. As a certified Mercedes Benz technician, he uses the right parts and charges a reasonable price for his services. He has never tried to sell additional services for the car when they aren t necessary and only does what is truly needed for the car to be running properly. Definitely recommend coming to him to service your car if you drive a Mercedes or BMW!

Handel and his auto repair personnel are super professional. They offer a great deal of courtesy and super can't beat prices for vehicle repairs. I have tried other places, but none of them could come close to this repair shop. Each time I get my vehicle back it runs better and smoother. I highly recommend this place to anyone who owns or plans to own a Mercedes Benz.

Handel and his team have been extremely helpful to me over the past 10 years. Yes! It s been that long. I have always come to these professionals for a second opinion {even when my vehicle was on warranty}. I find them very approachable and always going that extra mile for their customers. I have had a tremendous amount work done on my E350 over the years and Star Auto Techs have always provided exceptional top-notch service. Handell and his tech staff are polite, knowledgable and dependable. All of my service needs and repair work have been completed on-time and efficiently. They also don't charge you a fortune like local Mercedes dealerships. Not what I was expecting at all. I highly recommend this auto center. You guys have made a life time client out of me.

This place is amazing, I love Handall and respect him a lot for taking good care of my BMW 3Series. I was at another repair shop that made my car worse with all lights blinking but when I took it here, Handall was very helpful in getting a diagnosis done and my car would never have problems till then. Understanding that a BMW is very hard to maintain and cost money, know that this place will do its BEST ability to keep it in shape WITHOUT having to cheat you off and being honest and true to their work.
