I agree with Steve. Needed a fairly new small generator for service..was running but sat for a couple months. Owner required $45 just to look at it..no notice or call on how much etc...one day later he charge me another $190+ . Owner well over price to service. Plus I had brand new plug, many added expenses on a less than 1 year old unit. Do Not Use without price discussion first!! Owner can do better...Ashamed he will lose my future business. Another place up the road cheaper...next time.

I have brought to this shop an edger, weed eater, and pressure cleaner, on different occasions, and left with all the units working like brand new with all new parts. As a business owner myself I can see the expertise, quality of work and patience with client's they demonstrate. So impressive with this place - will definitely keep using their service for all my small engines.Thank you for your service to our community.

took my generator in they said they can fix it . Then they say if they change the part it is most likely the problem. So it s a guessing game . Then they clean my carburetor? It did not need that service but they need to justified the $50 they took from me . They don t pick up the phone either.

Small family run shop but the owner is bright and very capable to fix equipment. I took my generator to another shop for repair who did a terrible job using cheap Chinese parts and ultimately claiming the generator would need a new one. I took it to B.G for second opinion and they were able to fix the generator to new condition performance. Moving forward I will avoid other crooks and just come here. Thank you so much!!!

Great service. Gave an honest estimate. Thank You for your help and support in getting my pressure cleaner repaired an operational. Owner an assistant took the time to make sure my machine was running. They also helped me out by installing the pressure cleaning gun an accessories.Simply the best. Strongly recommend this small engine repair shop.

Left my Yard Machine mower with instructions to "clean up, tune-up and sharpen the blade" and left a $30 deposit. Owner said he could not give me an estimate (this should have warned me off). I was never called during the repair process to advise any additional work was needed. One week later I was told the total for the work would be nearly $150. I told the owner I would not be picking up the mower as I can just buy a new mower for what he wanted to charge me. I notice other high ratings for this business on Google, but my experience was less than satisfactory.

So far, so good. This is my first time to this place of business and they are very professional. Gave me all info up front regarding $25 service charge which would be used toward my bill for servicing once they have the infomation. They will do repairs without calling you if it is below $200 which I agreed to. If over $200, they will call for authorization. Time frame is 1 week, so we will see how it goes moving forward. I will update this review once all is complete.A mask is required to enter the store and I greatly appreciated that. Also, they only allow one person in the store at a time as the store is very small.

Been bringing my equipment to Joseph for a few years. Always gets it right the first time and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend this repair shop. 2 day turnaround on 3 pieces of equipment, impressive!

Best place in Hollywood!!!! Been going to this shop for 3 years and they always take excellent care of my lawn mover, edger, blower, pressure cleaner. Every year I go there for oil change or tune up. When I pick up my machines i am always impressed of their good job. They clean my machines and they start and look brand new. I wish I can give them 10 stars

Very fast and affordable repair of my lawnmower. The gentleman who helped me was very nice and explained everything I needed to know. Also gave me a 30 day warranty if anything went wrong. The help is very much appreciated. I will definitely go back for maintenance as needes.

I had broken belts on two different John Deere mowers decks and broken a nut off a spindle trying to replace the belt. I brought them both in to B.G. Small Engine Repair. Joseph, the owner, greeted me and came out to the trailer to assess everything. This was 2 days before Christmas vacation. You could tell his shop was busy but he treated me like I was his only customer. He said he could only fix one within the time frame. I was fine with that as long as I could get one mower back. He said he would call me 2 days later. Sure enough, two mornings later, he called me to let me know that they had repaired both mowers. I went to pick them up. They tested them in front of me and after using them this week, I found that they actually run better than they did new. He even greased the bearings and went beyond what I had asked. They helped load them up for me. You have to appreciate a company that UNDERPROMISES AND OVERDELIVERS. This shop has become my go-to place for repairs. Thank you Joseph!

This man fix my carpet cleaning machine inside the truck which is out of his range. But he is very smart with engines and totally fixed my engine so I could go to work. Great prices always at the shop and a good man in General..

I recently had a medium sized generator serviced here. They were a little late from the original estimate of 'a week' but when I called pending the possible storm this week, they finished the repair and it runs better than it did right out of the box. All pricing, parts and labor, were very fair. I will use them again for all my power equipment.

I have been going to Jose for 5 years now and he always does an A1 job on my lawnmower, no matter what the problem is. The turnaround time is always fast and the machine looks good as new when I pick it up. I would take it here first, you'll never take your machine anywhere else

My second time bringing my equipment to B.G. The service was performed quickly and to my satisfaction. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I asked various questions to which they went out of there way to show me on an old motor how to adjust the valves properly on my mower since I am normally a do it yourselfer. I would most definitely recommend B.G and will be returning in the future.

With duck season only a few days away my Briggs & Stratton motor on my mud motor decided to quit firing on one of the cylinders. I live near this shop and went to see if they could help. I spoke with Joseph and felt confident that he could get me back on the water in time for opening day. I brought it in first thing in the morning and just after lunch he had diagnosed the problem and gave me the price. He had the motor ready for me by the end of the day. What a blessing to find an capable and honest mechanic.

I have been getting my landscaping equipment repaired and serviced here for years. I like that the technician always explains in details what he does, I personally learn every time I go there. Recently learned how to do a recoil and now I can fix that my self if it happens again. Recommend Jose for his patience and good work ethics. Thank you

The best thing I can say about this place is that the owner is unethical! I brought a RYOBI power washer to him on Monday 7/15 and paid a $25 fee cash (after my credit card couldn't be processed with an additional 3% fee) for an estimate with instructions not to work on the unit without my authorization. I was told they were backed up and it would take a couple of days to look at the unit. I found my original Home Depot receipt the very next morning and went to pickup the unit to return it to HD. Of course I got there and asked the owner's young son I needed the unit back and he said he remembered me from the day before. When he went to the back where i couldn't see the owner or the unit, he came back 30 seconds later and said they had the unit on the bench troubleshooting it. In the next 30 seconds the young man went to the back and brought me my unit. When I asked for my $25 refund he said no because they had looked at it. I told them to keep the $25 but it's shameful this is what the owner is teaching his son - to take people's money. Don't go to this place.

First I wanted to thank Yosef for his patience and expertise. I needed help with a older machine and he said no problem. I dropped it off and he got it back to me within hours running and humming. If you need reliable mechanic, Yosef is your guy.

I bring them 5 engines at a time for service and they have me in and out always very friendly and professional and they have the best prices in town i would recommend to anybody needing minor repairs or even major rebuilds great service!!

Sometimes you have to trust your intuition. I found this place from a google search. My gut was right- this is old school service with integrity. Joseph is a super guy. its nice to meet someone who s handshake is his contract. Growing up in Brooklyn, it s rare to find people like Joseph. Thank you for fixing the motor, I can get back to work!

Before coming to this shop, I contacted other Torro Manufactory repair shops closer to my house. None of them were willing to help. B.G. small engine service helped me with a warranty repair of an electric blower. The entire process was seamless. Thank you!

Terrible Service. In the last 14 years that I had been living in the States this is the worst service ever. I left my Trimmer for a carburetor problem a Sunday, then He promise next Wed. I could not be there Wed but call Thursday, he goes Well after the analysis it seems that it is a carburetor problem, something that I already know. Then he promise to Friday, then call Friday before pick it up. He goes Well we are trying to fix the problem but bottom line you'll need new carburetor $96 plus $25 that I already pay first nightmare day. Later on the guy insult me with very rude language and cut the communication. Today next Monday I went there to pick my trimmer up. Amazing I discover a loose screw that I left at the begging trying to fix it up by my self. They never touch my machine and charge $25. Please be aware about this scam Bottom line my feeling is that they have a lack of knowledge. Easy problems maybe they are going to fix it, but they do not know about it. Fatal Patetico el Tipo. no tiene ni idea. Yo la reparo con seguridad.

I would recommend this shop to anybody that needs there service done on there equipment its fast and friendly and they do great work i have never met a shop who actually cares about there customers besides this one dont waste your time at any other shop

Amazing service by Josef !! Super quick my pressure washer had a bent spring with out his help I would of lost 1k worth of work if it wasn t for Josef thank you B.G you guys gained a loyal client for life
