This is a brief exchange I just had over the phone with a worker. The goal of the phone call was simply to change an appointment from Thursday 9am to Friday 9am, I informed the worker of that upon him answering the phone.He proceeded to ask what the appointment was for, I said my transmission, to which he responded "transmission what?", I said to replace my transmission on my car, his follow up response being "you have the other transmission on you?" I said no I took it to the dealer and they told me I need a new transmission, "okay yeah we can check it for you". I restated I just want the date for the appointment changed, he stated he would do that but seemed rushed to get off the phone. My next question was "do you need my name so you know who to reschedule?" His response "ah yeah what is it?". I give him my name and car, and he says okay, end of conversation.Now I've never been here, I was told AAMCO was reliable and good for all things transmission, but after this exchange, ill take it as a hint that maybe I should not trust them with my vehicle. I will be looking elsewhere.

Poor quality workmanship, lack of intermediate/advanced knowledge of certain (common) vehicles transmission components. I.E. what the vehicle CAN and CANNOT have installed on it. I could go on for several more paragraphs. 1 star review from me.

I found AAMCO to be fair and reliable with an average completion rate. Most importantly, I felt I was treated to fair and reliable repair with a very reasonable price and guarantee. I would recommend this business. The only issue I had is minor as the completion was a bit slow. This may be due to supply chain issues

I was having problems with my auto AC it just suddenly stopped working. I live in Florida and the temperature was about 100 degrees. Driving with my windows down felt like a oven. Shopping around was a disaster the dealer s price was out of my budget. Other mechanics kept making me feel doubtful. I suddenly remembered my extended warranty and reported my problem. They recommended me to AAMCO Transmissions Total Car Care in Pembroke Pines. I was so happy when I went there and met Ivan he was so pleasant and professional, and patient. He diagnosed and repaired my car and had me back on the road within 24 hours. Everyone else was telling me 2 or 3 days. I finally have AC guys.This is the place to go for honest mechanical work. Ivan is a great mechanic and really honest person. It took him 15 minutes to find out the problem with steering wheel system. Then he found an extended factory warranty in the system and suggested to go to the dealer and saved us a lot of money. It is really hard to find people like Ivan. NEVER EVER!!!! take your vehicle to get repaired here. I took my 2012 Chevy Camaro SS to get my A/C repaired. I took it there at 8am and had to call them right before they closed to check on the diagnostic. They told me it would be looked at first thing in the morning. Around noon the next they they advised me that everything needed to be replaced and total cost would be around $2,700. Since I recently just moved the area I figured vehicle repair is expensive out here. Picked up my car and drove approximately 3 miles and had to immediately turn around and bring it back because the A/C was blowing hot as usual. They told me it was a faulty blower and that it would take 4 hours to install. Another day without my vehicle. The next day picked up my vehicle and it the A/C was blowing cold. 2 days later while driving the A/C suddenly started blowing hot again. Took my vehicle back the next morning and they told me again it was another faulty blower. Blower replaced and approximately 10 months later the A/C started blowing hot again. I got deployed and upon returning I took my vehicle back to this shop because I didn t have time before deployment. Dropped it off around 9am and approximately at 3:15 the service rep Ivan called and advised that my Condenser that they replaced upon initial service was now leaking ( stated: it was hit by something) and advised it would now cost me $1150 to get a new one installed because the warranty was only good for 1 year. I am a retired war Veteran of the United States of America. If these Snakes and Swindlers will install faulty parts on my vehicle THEY WILL DO IT TO YOURS!! AVOID Aamco unless you want to waste a lot of TIME & MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!Service: A/C system repair

I had a groupon. I scheduled an appt per the gentleman who I spoke with regarding coupon. When I arrived I was told the service would take 2 hrs. I said I would wait and the gentleman at the counter did not appear happy. I left to get coffee came back and asked where the waiting room was. I did not feel very welcome. The gentleman came back and told me they could not change the fluid because there was something very wrong with the transmission. In fact if anyone changed it it would ruin the car. He proceeded to tell me that I could possibly drive the car a year without problem but a new transmission would cost 4000. Groupons are paid ahead so now I was out 119 dollars. I drove the car to another mechanic and they assured me nothing was wrong they changed the fluid for me and the car runs great. They matched the price of the groupon and told me that your company was trying to scam me. I WILL NEVER RETURN to your shop. Reported you to Groupon. They gave me a credit for the groupon and will be exploring any legal action I can take. I have posted my experience on social media. Your employee was rude and trying to scare me into replacing the transmission. As soon as I walked up I felt as though I had disturbed the gentleman. When I tried another mechanic I had used for oil changes in the past they were kind friendly walked me through what they were doing gave me a good price. I bought the entire garage lunch and posted their business card on my social media with a glowing review. Again I will do what I can to expose your shady garageTwo years later and still have the original transmission in my car. This place is the worst. I have had difficulty finding a mechanic to trust,Ivan was kind, honest and patient he explained the service my cars needed. The repairs were done and the cars are running so nice.Went back for an additional repair and Ivan was so honest he explained if he did the repair it would invalidate the manufactor warranty that I didn't even know I had.It was hard to give someone other than my dad who is a retired mechanic a chance, but I'm so glad I did. It's a Long Story so I will cut to the chase.My 2005 Toyota MR2's transmission was acting up so I took it to Toyota of North Miami. They told me I needed $5,100.00 in repairs. I took the car back with nothing done. The car ran fine for a month but decided to get a second opinion at AAMCO. After a 60 minute wait I was told the was nothing wrong with my transmission. I told them to check again, so they did. Still nothing but told me my gas cap was faulty that is why my check engine light was on. I got a new one and the light went off. They sent me away as happy as I could be "No Charge for anything" Honesty goes a long way these days. I had lunch delivered an hour later to show my appreciation. WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! I don't even know where to begin. I towed my car to Aamco on July 14th to get the Axle fixed/replaced. I later received a call from Ivan that my engine locks were bad and needed to be replaced, so I agreed to get the work done. Picked up the car July 25th. Paid a total of $2019.40. Ivan gave me the keys to get my car. As I got closer to my car I noticed that the bumper, front and side of my car had scratches, which was not there before and i had the pic to prove, the exterior of the car was full of dirt like someone literally drove the car on a dirt road, then to make matters worse I turn the car on and the car wouldn't start. I went back into the shop and told Ivan about all the issues I found with the car. Regarding the scratches he blamed it on the tow truck driver. I told him to replace my battery which he did, then another problem arised, after they replaced the battery. The engine light and drive light came on and they could not clear it from the car or figured out why it was on. Ivan told me to drive the car for 15-20mins and the car will automatically clear the engine light and the drive light, which never happened! Called him back he said that as long as the car is driving good there is nothing to worry about and I could take it back at another time for them to recheck car. At this point I was extremely disappointed and needless to sayupset about the HORRIBLE SERVICE that was rendered.I drove to the Honda dealership in miami lakes and they were able to find and fix the problem.Aamco employees broke the transmission fluid pressure switch. This was the reason why the engine light and blinking drive light remained on and could not go away no matter what Ivan and his employees did to clear it.What a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!I would NOT recommend anyone to go to this place!!!I would give them 0 stars if Google allowed it.

You need to use this AAMCO for your auto repairs because they are so trustworthy and they actually listen to you when you describe your cars issues. I have a 2008 PT Cruiser with 75,000 miles and it s body is in great condition but as with most Chrysler s 14yrs old, the mechanics start breaking down and finding replacement parts is difficult let alone a Mechanic you can trust because the dealership is a rip off. I had some major mechanical breakdowns that were not easy to find let alone fix. I just spent $3,000 on repairs and it was well worth it compared to the $5,500 the dealership wanted. It s been several months and I am happy to report that no more problems and my car runs like it s brand new. Modern theatre featuring an open bar in a very great location with plenty of free parking in the safety of the pine mall area but not since the mall. It's separate which is a huge plus as many like myself just want to get to the movie not go into the mall first.It was pricey last i visited. ( many years ago right after opening hype happening). I'm sure everything is reasonably priced again. When I used to drink they had cool star wars type mixed drinks themes toward episode 7 for the day 1 release weekend.To be honest, Modern was an understatement to be conservative. Their chairs features things i ever seen in an other along with 3D movie options and all with the latest in believe it's called Dolby audio. I saw it in 3d, it was a movie I knew I'd love as i do like star wars. However the experience i had in the theater night was profound.You experienced the movie not just watched/listened to it. In perfect audio amazing video and gave the real illusion as being in the movie itself sometimes.

Went for a diagnostic check on a mechanical issue. I don t see it often and they couldn t duplicate it. However, AAMCO alerted me of a possible recall that may be causing the issue. I made an appointment to take my 2015 Hyundai Elantra for its 15,000 mile inspection and oil change. The appointment was set for 11:00 AM, and my car was taken in immediately. I was pleasantly surprised when told that all the liquids and filters were OK. The mechanic told me I would have to rotate the tires are a later date, and he was very thorough when explaining the work he had done. I am so blessed and fortunate to have found this auto mechanic shop on Groupon, I read the reviews and I was hooked. it touched my spirit in a way that, I had two other places lined up to go to but my heart told me go to this establishment. Due to the fact that I read those reviews of all the patrons that came there and had services done to their vehicles and how pleased they were, also the majority of them raved about how honest the employees were and how fast and efficient they were, also how fair their prices were as well as how they go into such detail to explain everything that is wrong with your vehicle and they don't do unnecessary work that's not needed. Several people on the reviews that I read stated that they had went to other mechanics and the other mechanics told them that at least seven or eight things were wrong, but when they brought their vehicles to this shop Ivan inform them that all that work was not needed they just needed a very inexpensive part and they were on their way. and also there was one guy that said he purchased a car and he was told the engine needed to be replaced and he purchased the car anyway and brought it this shop and ask them to replace the engine ,that's what they were told needed to be done and Ivan again told them let me check it out just to be sure he checked it out and he didn't need the engine to be replaced it was just a crack part on the manifold it was replaced and the gentleman was so happy that Ivan was such a honest individual and he still comes to his company to this day after many years . Can I say exceptional God sent . If you are thinking of finding a good mechanic shop with honest people with fair prices look no further this is going to be a lifetime thing trust and believe what I'm telling you I myself believe in word of mouth and all the reviews that I read they didn't lie because I had the same experience when I went to the shop I am so pleased with the work I had done it was fast efficient and without any problems. and I have recommended my family and they are going to be making appointments to go there and it is suggested that you make an appointment because you'll get seen in a more efficient time please pass it on to your friends and family we all have to support each other in these times.Services: Heating system repair, A/C system repair

My car was received by the service advisor on January 22, 2020. I asked him how many days he would be ready and he said: " on about 7 to 10 days." The first week passed and the car was not ready. After spending the second week he said that one of the pieces arrived wrong. In the 3rd week, my name was to tell me that in addition to the transmission being damaged, the computer had also been damaged, which needed a couple more days to get a new one. On February 20.2020 The service advisor calls on me and told me that the car was ready to pick up. When paying and signing all the documents, they deliver the car to me and less than half a mile the Engine and Auto LSD lights come on. I take the car back to the workshop and after 20 minutes they deliver it to me again and tells me to bring it in 10 days for observation. Upon returning to the house and almost reaching it, the same alerts light up again. I called him and he said that it is not a major problem that I continue to use it, hours later I go to work and the car starts cranking when I make the automatic change. I'm going to take the car back to you early in the day of Feb 24, 2020. I'm frustrated, I've wasted time and stopped producing income for 30 days. I am an independent contractor of shared trips and this situation has hurt me tremendously. I Demand an immediate and professional action by this workshop as soon as possible. i am not sure the diagnostic was correct , I spent $ 2300.00 and the car has the same issues . Upon consulting with manager I heard the usual bring it back meaning we are not sure why problem wasn t solved . I guess South Florida has a bunch of guessers even at dealers . Brought car for a battery replacement, still under warranty. This was replace and they suggested additional work totaling $950.00 to which I agreed. 5 days later they notified me of car readiness. As soon as I drove car out, noticed all kinds of error messages displayed. This was Friday evening, they're close Saturday/Sunday. Following Monday 1st thing drop car over (disappointed). Later around noon was call that car was ready. Today, 4 days later all seems to be Ok. A couple of days later same problem. Took car to dealer that found a faulted O2 sensor. After repalcement of this sensor problem never came back.Was charge $1100.00 for faulted diognostics for guess work, never taken my car there again.Service: Battery
