We usually use them to rebuild our boat alternators but they have diagnosed car electrical problems for us as well ,Joey is very fair and honest as all of his employees want to do the very best job they can do for their customers.I highly recommend this business for any type of electrical issues that you might be having and rest assured that fixed and fixed right. Stopped by just to have my alternator checked Saturday morning.Checked out fine and they noticed potential futuristic problem with the battery connections.Fixed it ,no charge.Been there before, will definitely come back.Fast, effective and polite.

Here is the story. I got up yesterday morning to start my car. I said, oh no, it is the battery. I went to the local parts store and they said, no, it is the alternator and it will cost $500. The nice gentleman sent me here because hint hint they are half price. They did another diagnostic test and found it was indeed my battery. I bought my battery and was on my way. I highly recommend this place. They are the nicest people. Support local! #850strong

Called for a quote to rebuild a starter. Tried selling a rebuilt one for $299. Rebuild it there for $250. OUCH Being we just got hung up with the manufacturer, priced at $219 brand new, trying to support a local business by calling here. We love supporting local businesses but when prices are gouged like this, come on... let's be reasonable. They are online for $83. This is ridiculous. Went from friendly to snide/rude as soon as I brought up the price gouging. Be fair with people and people will be fair with you.

What a great shop to get work done at! I called one day was seen the next morning and had my part delivered that following day. The customer service that Joey provides is outsmarting and way cheaper than any other Shop for this kind of work. They have an amazing vibe and will not oversell you on stuff you don t need. These guys are awesome. Very, very impressed with every interaction from start to finish. They were extremely helpful in troubleshooting the issue, got us in right away, fixed the problem, and emphasized excellent customer service throughout the experience. Furthermore, the pricing was fair and reasonable. And as If that wasn t enough, I later found that they went above and beyond in fixing things in the vehicle that they clearly didn t have to (prior to the visit my truck hood would slam shut, and they must have adjusted something cause it now closes slow and smooth!). I want to bring all my vehicles to them so they can run through them all! Very impressed, so glad to see there are still honest, extra-milers in the world! Thank you!!!

I had my monte carlo brought in and it need a harmonic balancer and serpentine belt relaced. I was charged a fair price and felt he did a good job. Also he seemed to be a friendly person. I recommend there services

The team at PC starter and alternator did a great job for me. Warrantied an interstate battery for me and let me upgrade to a better one. I highly recommend them if you have a battery, alternator, or starter problem! Very awesome customer service!!

Great people. Good work on my Tahoe. Had a leak after they fixed my power steering hose a week later and they fixed it for free and I don't even think it was there fault great people thank you.

The owner was probably the nicest person I have met in panima city. I called his phone he had the part I needed. He had it waiting for me when I got there. He checked me out very quickly while giving me tips on installation. Highly recommend I will be back when I need more parts. Thank you so much.

Love these guys. I just found them for the first time, but they have been around for a long time. I love supporting my local community. For a rebuild alternator at Napa was the same price for a new one with these guys. So I went for the new one and haven't had a issue yet.

These folks are amazing! Great service! We were stuck at a local marina with a bad voltage regulator. After calling a few stores that couldn't help without a car make and model, Joey was able to set me up with the regulator i needed and walk through the wiring differences with me to make sure we got back on the water.

This place has amazing customer service and just about everything you could want from the name. Amazing turn around time and pricing. Needed an alternator that did not show anywhere else from cummings. Walked in and not only did they have the part they beat the price by over half. I will always come here and would recommend to anyone!

Amazing work, brought it to two different mechanics before landing here, the others were stumped but they had my alternator working in a matter of 4 hours! Honest and reliable is an understatement! Highly recommend them!

This guy I have called for just info he walked me Thur finding out the exact starter I needed..I brought him a 1960s starter THEY DON'T MAKE ANYMORE. He found one.I don't go anywhere else. Can I give six stars.

Absolutely the best, and only place you need to go. Since I have a thirty-year-old Nissan Stanza, my repairs are a bit challenging. These guys have saved me three times, and have the best attitudes. Friendly, expert, and able to handle tricky problems, they'll have you leaving with a smile.

These people saved me and are incredible. Super friendly and ready to help. They frankenstein'd my old marine boat's starter mounting piece (i couldn't wait for a new one to be ordered) onto a new body. Fixed my boat and got me out of here! While they were doing this, the owner was kind enough to help me troubleshoot my alternator wiring issue. If i needed more alternators or starters i'd come back here.

I highly recommend Panama Alternator & Starter. They delivered fast and honest service. My check engine light had come on. At times, it seemed as if my car was going to shut off and sometimes it took a longer time to start up. I took my car to a local dealership to get an oil change and I explained the problem to them. They did a diagnostic test and told me that I needed a new intake air boot. However, after I left the dealership with the new part, my car was still doing the same thing. I went back and was told that the issue was normal and that it had to do with my fan and the charge from my battery. A few days later, my check engine light came back on. This time I took it to the shop where I purchased my battery. They did a test and said that I needed a new alternator. This didn't seem right. Fortunately, my dad was able to get in contact with Mr. Ramsey and I was told to bring my car over. In the end, it was a bad connection with a cord that was going from the alternator to the battery. Mr. Ramsey cleaned it up and solved the problem. I appreciate that he took the extra time to figure out what was going on underneath the problem. As a female, it seems that it's easier for mechanics to get over on us and that everything is all about business and money. However, Mr. Ramsey was straightforward and honest. He explained what he did and why he did it. He solved my problem, which saved me money and time. I am beyond satisfied with his service.

Joey, his wife, and crew are the absolute best ! I have used them several times over the years with batteries, alternator's, starters, and just plain confusion on my part. They have gone above and beyond with the service every time. Good honest business that treats people right and I couldn't recommend enough.

Saturday, August 28th, Derrick at Panama Alternator became my Knight in Shining Armor. The alternator had died on my Toyota Camry the night before, and I prepared myself to be without a car until Monday afternoon at the earliest. I called Saturday morning to leave a message requesting an appointment on Monday if possible, and Derrick answered. HE TOLD ME TO BRING MY CAR ON DOWN. They were not officially open. He had come in to work on something else, but he would check out my car. Derrick removed and rebuilt my car s alternator that day, and I had my car back before 2 PM. His rebuild saved me almost $30 compared to other local and online sources of rebuilt alternators. He saved me on labor as well. He was so courteous and polite. Most people would have scheduled an appointment for Monday rather than spend their Saturday coming to my rescue. He ll never truly know how much this meant to me. Panama Alternator has been around for many years. Honest and fair and trustworthy. Thank you again Derrick. LynKin
