Maaco Delivered!I recently had my 1973 Chevy truck painted by Will and the team at Maaco, and I must say, I'm impressed. Will and his team did a great job, especially considering the affordable price.From the initial consultation to the final coat of paint, the process was smooth and professional. Despite the lower cost, the quality of work exceeded my expectations! The paint job was clean with attention to detail evident throughout. Whatever you do don't take your vehicle to Maaco in Panama City!! We were told our vehicle would be done in 1 week....3 weeks later we finally got it back, only to get it back very dirty with hand prints of paint residue all over inside and out!! Paint on the leather seats, steering wheel, and back window, they were gonna detail it but that didn't happen either. They suck at communication, No call after 1st week to tell us it wasn't ready, no call the next week either, husband went by to looked at it, to find paint globs in 4 different spots. Finally they said it was ready the 2nd Friday they had it, for us to find another spot.There was no body work done just sand down and repaint, 1 week to paint 2 weeks to fix their mistakes.

If you re looking for a place that charges a fair amount and does just as good work come here. The painted my new fender and front bumper and it s absolutely perfect. Definitely taking my business back here. Will Smith is the guy, talk to him he knows his stuff

The car does look good now. There was paint overspray on the windows. I drove back and Maaco and had them cleanup the car. I also had to put the rubber gasket back around the door. The door wasn t closing or staying closed while driving. After checking it out, I found that they had not connected the rubber gasket all the way around the door. Also when cleaning the windows they had to clean the inside frame around the doors. They had sanding dust all around. And to top it off they kept my car 4 days longer than they told me. And I had to call them twice during that time to see if it was done yet. They did not keep me updated. But after all that, so far the color and paint are pretty good.

I m really happy with the follow up care. I had a few minor problems after the job was finished, but they have always made it right-no questions.

Real nice people, nice paint job. I only wish they had covered my tires and wheels better. Urethane does not come off easy.

You get what you pay for Not a very professional looking paint job.Several drip lines, lots of over spay on the glass, car was really dirty inside and out when I picked up. There was a 14 scuff mark across the back passenger side quarter panel and tail light. Looks like it scraped another car or wall while being pulled out of the bay. Not worth the down time and effort to take it back for repair.I expected a bit more for purchasing the highest end paint package that Maaco offers. I will take to a body shop to get scuff marks buffed out and windows scraped and consider this a $2000 lesson learned. Spend the extra money and go to a reputable body shop. On a positive's note, the guy running the place (Will) was very nice and seemed to be trying hard.

My husband took our new angry bird grill for our Jeep into Macco to be painted. The first time it was painted, the paint matched and looked great. But, the paint started peeling off. We took the grill back in to them for them to repaint it and did not hear from them at all. We went by the shop twice. The first time we went by we were told the grill was painted and when it was blown off the paint came off. So, they had to paint it again. The grill had been in the shop for about two weeks.The second time we went by my husband was told it was not ready and it had been there about five weeks at this point. So, my husband called a few weeks later and the woman who answered had no clue what grill he was talking about and said someone would call him back. No one called back. My husband called again a week later and got an answering service. We went by today to check on the grill. The grill was ready and my husband was told it had been ready. When we got home to put the grill on the Jeep, the color is completely wrong. I called regarding the grill as this was the last straw. The grill spent more time in the shop than it has on my Jeep. I want a refund because at this point I don't trust this shop. I was told over the phone the grill should have come already primed for paint and wasn't. They should not have accepted the job at that point or included priming it in the cost. Then, I was told since my Jeep was not there the color could not be matched correctly. But it was painted the correct color the first time they painted it. Will stated they already painted the grill twice and would do it a third time to correct the wrong color. By my count the grill has been painted three times. I do not trust them to paint it a fourth time nor do I want the grill to spend several more weeks there. So, since he refuses to refund my money and I doubt Corporate will return my call, we are out of $401.25. I would not trust them to paint anything.Service: Painting

Customer service was really good, and Mr.Will was great on communicating with me i had the car bummer sorted out in one Day, just waiting on a parts to arrived to seal the Job but I couldn t wait to share my experience, I Highly recommend y all checking them out..: God Bless the Team. Well you pay for what you get. When i picked it up, I had to scrape red sparkle paint off driver side windows. Driver side was covered with orange/rust looking spots, that did not wipe off , had to use finger nail, so not to hurt new paint ? Got it painted back original color, so there was other things wrong. But it's back to one color and standing back it looks good.

I don't want to give them a good or bad review yet because I haven't had any business with them. I was only here to bring someone to pick up their car. But as for what I saw the work doesn't look bad. I told the manager that I got some work there years ago when it was spray and glow and the work was total trash. The manager told me that they are a totally different company with new peopleSo I plan on going back tomorrow to see if I can get an estimate on fixing my truck and getting a paint job. I will have a better review after tomorrow then I can give my true feelings on how I feel about this place.

One star becouse Amanda's attitude is god awful. If she can't handle dealing with customers she should quit. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I had a appointment to paint my truck. I was asked to bring 4 days after appt day. Which I did, sit on the lot for a week without being touched and left unlocked. Acording to the manger, I was being unreasonable in expecting them to do what was agreed to. I had the audacity to expect him to do his job.Service: PaintingService: Painting

They did a great looking paint on my van I have had several compliments people thinking it was a way more expensive job.The thing negative about the experience was them having me bring it in 4 days before they started to work on it being my only car that was hard but was there the time they told up front they would need it.It would have been better for if I could have brought it in the night before they needed it.

Website says New Management. Supposed to be open from 9 to 12 on Saturday. Both sign on door and web site confirm this. I arrive threat 11:05 on Saturday, it was closed. Makes you wonder.

Made an appointment to bring our truck in they called when they finish painting it said the truck would not start .upon checking out the truck all the gas was stolen the gas cap was broken and they did nothing to solve the problemService: PaintingService: Painting
